  1. Oh no - you saw my losses, you must never have been in a war before in this broken mechanic game where war wins aren't how you win.

In most arguments, when someone is pointed out for being restartedly acoustic and they steer from their own argument to place focus on something else, this identifies that you are a weak person not only mentally but probably physically as well. Feel free to discuss more about my nation - I'm happy to talk about them but I'm also happy to talk about what I was doing for each war I've been a part of, in real life, outside of this game - where stuff really matters.

I'll make sure to turn on notifications for your posts though, just in case you feel it necessary to create posts that have zero context in efforts to boost your own already deflated ego, I'll be there to smudge it in the dirt just a little more. G'day. :)

You’re defending a war dodger? They deserve to get make fun of and laugh at.  You never quit an alliance during wartime . Only time it’s okay to quit is after wartime

I don't think in any of my words I defended war dodging - what I did do though was say that I would gladly talk to a war dodger vs listen and/or talk to you, someone who, without context, makes posts so vague that people question it and come to find out it is something to do with a war dodger - in which case, you and the war dodger should be taken care of.

If that is very hard for you to understand - your post sucks, you're not any better than a war dodger just by making this post, and you should be rolled. BUT alas, you were in VM when you wrote this.

    War Dodgers...Vacation Mode...what's the difference?

Dude, I was just joking I was mocking someone who left their AA during war time and he started to post it everywhere that they haven’t give him back his deposits.

You can look at my nation https://politicsandwar.com/nation/id=584539 you won’t find no evidence of me wardodging.  my last alliance was United ummah they never been through war. My current alliance are pirate.

These types of posts should be illegal - I would gladly talk to a war dodger vs someone who wants to zero-context mock a war dodger in a public setting. Back in my day, the community would take care of you and your nation for this....and you're in VM.

    Weak.

  4. This thing has always been a thing since games like this existed - even back in the CN days of my online nation sim career, its always a cycle of the same, you can follow the patterns quite easily. The major difference with the current state of the game and games like this is there are going to be those old-school players (and some newer ones that have an old-school mind) that like the grind (if you want to call this game a grind..) and like to really go deep into politics, communication, relationships, and toe the line of RP within each of those pillars. Our society, globally, has been pushed into bite size, fast, need it now, get it now, immediately rewarded entertainment - Politics & War isn't that.

Raiding satisfies that need of get it now, reward me now, mindset - up until it doesn't. Then we'll want more wars, more conflicts, less blocks, less pacts, until we don't - because this is all just a cycle, its a pattern. The same people, same groups, same alliances that fight for something NOW will become what they fought and the process repeats and then someone new will write what the OP wrote and I have no damn life so I'll probably be here writing this same response.

I've been around for quite a while, I've been in alliances since the beginning, I've created my own, I've been on the Mod team, I've been close to Alex, I've done pretty much everything here and in my history, solid in-game personalities and content is what drives people to be active. When you can develop player created content that is interactive, includes everyone, and doesn't care about sides, who to please, or anything like that, that is when you have user engagement. The issue with this is when it comes to the game - people will still play the game BUT the RP, the news, the content, and that interactive fun (now, new, bite size, fun) becomes the primary reason to be here, the game becomes secondary.

This game has always had a very hard time meshing that player created content and game playing stuff - depending on whether someone leaves, doesn't maintain the content, or you get all these "news" servers buying up other ones and making a multi-conglomerate...all bullshit to be honest. The community here used to be diverse with multiple talk shows, news, and takes on things but it slowly evolved into a big chunk of shit. It won't be a big chunk if you start to break it apart - but to break it apart requires effort and effort isn't really included in need it now, reward me now, mentality.

  5. Back in the day there was this guy named Mad Max that would go around and make alliances or rebrand - a real character - I think y'all have exceeded him on alliance creations by now. I know him personally, so I'm going to let him know that he no longer holds the 1st place prize - maybe he'll come back and be a competing force.

Hey, could you try linking your PnW account to your forum account? That should auto-update your name for you so it'll work correctly. The simplest way to do it is make sure both accounts are using the same email address, then log into the forums using your regular PnW email and password.

No - its already been fixed.

  7. PW will continually repeat itself and burn out those that wan't more fun/need more action. It will always be a game that is either very fun, needs more wars, needs less wars, needs better mechanics, has too many mechanics, needs less pirates, needs more pirates, radio shows, no radio shows, more drama, less drama, new alliances, no new alliances and rinse/repeat.

The best thing you can do is quit. Wait 6 months to a year and then come back. You'll see new people, different names, some same alliances and no urge to learn everything again because during that time away you filled yourself with different hobbies that benefit your life and you only log on here to make posts like this to hopefully break people out of the cycle.
