  1. TIL that Manthrax is into little cubes.
  2. We said that we were fine with Chafire and Ifee leaving, those were special cases and not a blanket statement.
  3. You've got a good pair of protectors, I look forward to seeing what you can do.
  4. Fair enough. Lots of immigrants may not want to assimilate, but their children and grandchildren will. I don't have a good sense of how Canada houses refugees, but I do know that migrants into local american communities are hard working and their children integrate pretty well, despite they're parents. Obviously unfettered immigration is untenable, but the population growth is seriously nice.
  5. Might I ask where in Canada you are? When I lived in two states very close to Canada, neither had much hate for immigrants. The population boost was welcome and most citizens could remember first generation relatives.
  6. Well past the initial offer, I really hope the value of infra destroyed is in fact accurate.
  7. When I first read this, I did not anticipate that the "gets you going" would be in a positive context. My top 5 in no particular order: Sitting by the shore of Lake Superior. Looking out from the top of a mountain. Making eye contact with my infant son. Seeing someone have a Eureka moment when explaining something complicated. Learning something new.
  8. 1. He doesn't appear to be gone, his nation was active 2 minutes ago. 2. At the bottom of the main page for your alliance is a box titled permissions, enter your leader name, select leader from the drop down, and enjoy your coup. edit: grammar
  9. 1. Planes are cheap, decomming returns 75% of the resource. 2. Our average member had 14 cities and an NRF, being prepared for a nuclear scenario does not mean not building cities for a conventional one. 3. I said built, not had the resources to build. Plenty of people were conserving resources for down the line as they still had more than 3 nukes in their silos. 4. 8 are launching, that has more to do with targeting than resources. 5. The alliance bank is there to help make up shortfalls in peoples warchests, not hold all of the uranium in Alpha. We're up to 380 launched, but clearly we didn't stock up enough uranium.
  10. You realize that the preparations included buying up credits and resources for duration nuking, not just putting nukes in silos where they can be spied out. No point in having 20 nukes in the silo if half won't make it out when you can stockpile the resources and pop a nuke everyday.
  11. It's not true, the maximum possible value would be 121 and the likely value is 38.
  12. You don't say. Good on you though Ghux, those numbers are damn close to mine.
  13. ZI is a lie, nobody has been zi'd on Orbis except by their own hand. T$ has been unable to blockade our members in this tier. Obviously, it's not a long term solution and we have things that we want, t$ is well aware, but we're happy to grind until they want to give them to us.
  14. The lost revenue at this point has not even surpassed the lost infra. How is it supposed to be a scary number that makes us want to give up? Edit: Down hits by ranks were a big deal before you started playing this game, these day scores are much bigger and more important, but part of me does remember those days. There was a time when the 1st ranked aa could not hit the 10th ranked aa without international indignation.
  15. Since before you were a nation, I get that it means less these days, but still 30% by score. We can easily afford these loses cause there's !@#$ all left to lose. You're the target rich environment , you're welcome to join us in the rubble. Edit: Post broke.
  16. No shit, you hit an alliance with 1/3rd the membership and 1/10th the rank. We're supposed to go toe-to-toe? Give me a time machine and a 1v1. Edit: Ranks not score, you're not making me look up historical stats more than I have to.
  17. That sounds like an excellent concert.
  18. For the same reason I can't get the full unit stats anymore (month expiry) I don't believe I can pull direct tax documents. However, what I can do is do ideal income - military upkeep = theoretical income. This of course assumes Alpha doesn't get rolled and both t$ and Alpha keep no military (very optimistic, I know). If we value infra at 350/unit and slots at 9450/slot (full econ build averaged between 1,500 infra/city and 2,000 infra/city) and compare the 4/21/16 stat tracker snapshots (god help me) to today's snapshot, we get: Alpha has lost $5.3B in revennue. t$ has lost 7.2B in revenue. Of course this assumes nations existed as they do today for the past 33 days, which is obviously not true, but if we want a back of the envelope calculation, this is it.
  19. Those flag sizes... But congrats. o/ NPO o/ Valkyrie
  20. It's not untracked out of disinterest, it is a difficult thing to estimate and track.
  21. As of last pull 367 nukes for a cost of $1.7B. We do not have the unit losses, I was too busy to set up a statistics snapshot at the time, hence the over-reliance on the stat tracker. We do have those numbers for consumable and unit resource losses. Unrealized income is untracked. A good chuck of Alpha's too, since we switched to nuke turrets on the highest nations, but I'm pretty sure the data is rolled into the 23th as part of the lack of military reset on the 24th. Alpha's aluminum stats are definitely broken, the other resource numbers seem plausible, but who can say.
  22. Even if we just assume that each nuke averaged out on a 2k city (I know we nuked some lowbies, but we also got plenty of 3K and 2.7K cities). It's still in the $6B range, the numbers might be off, but they are still large. And that would neglect all other damage sources.
