I understand the thought behind it, but there's no point in changing that It's not game breaking and not even a bit overpowered If someone is spying u while in beige, you can just spy their spies away, since them being off beige would not affect your ability to counter spy them Also, if the nation is in Beige and is still in war (this can happen if they are fighting more than 1 opponent and one of them beiges the nation) that would hinder it's ability to fight the other wars

Another possibility is to raise the upkeep of military during wars That way it can keep wars lasting less time than nowadays

I agree with Epi, much more efficient and we don't get an ugly Photoshop effect on our carefully designed flags
