  1. I mean it seems pretty relevant to me. It really was not that long ago that all this happened. You were there, I was there, most people who are still the most vocal and powerful people in this game were there when the things happened that Kastor mentioned. The fact that these issues are constantly coming up and we're all finding ourselves circling back to them is par for the course for this game. There is clearly a reason why we keep needing to have this conversation. On that note it seems pretty irresponsible to me to completely disregard the past as if it has no bearing on the present when it, in fact, is the entire underlying premise behind the OP. If we want to have an honest discussion about where we go in the future with the meta, we have to consider where we came from and not use toxic rhetoric like calling something "ridiculous" and "garbage". If you want this thread to have any significance whatsoever it's probably not a good idea to quickly disregard what people have to say, unless of course your aim is to simply spread propaganda.
  2. I have heard back from Pika and she has informed me that they are doing fine and there is no need to worry! We did not get into the reasons they left and I didn't ask. She said they will miss everyone and wish us all the best ♥️
  3. I am so sad. I was one of Pika's better friends. Both of them will be missed. I hope they are ok and I hope that they stay safe. If you guys see this, I love you and miss you ♥️
  4. So it seems your side is now drifting into culture wars? We hit you with a very clear CB and one that's pretty damning. If you're stalling negotiations because you simply don't like the personalities of some of our leaders, you need to grow up. You're clearly lying. I've been in KT, TKR, Soup, and others and nobody has ever said NPO is weak. Is BK weak? There's a strong argument they are, all things considered. And the rest of the alliances don't exactly have good performances in the past either. There is something to be said about ego being bad for the game, but to stall negotiations because you're all mad about our side being sore winners in the past only cements the fact you guys are bad-faith actors. Our side is clearly not stalling for time with this post, it's literally the opposite. Your side has been the one dictating one a month negotiations, ghosting those negotiations, and then lying on the OWF saying we are the ones stalling. It's a blatant lie that's becoming more transparent every day. The ball is in your court. If you're going to come into this thread, ignore it, and continue the narrative that we're stalling, it will only cement the image to the rest of this game that you negotiate in bad faith, and are doing all of this because you don't want the war to end. So you have a choice, be a good-faith actor and help end this annoying war, or continue to be lying bad-faith hypocrites who want to continue the war for purely prideful reasons.
  5. Roqs actions in this game speak for themselves. Hitting anyone you think is a threat is transparent. Your rhetoric and Roqs have been consistently hegemonic from the very beginning. You can try to spin it anyway you'd like but the proof is in the open for all to see. You complain about Buorhann talking on the OWF sounding a certain way, and yet everything that comes from your mouth, Roqs mouth, and your goons oozes with a superiority complex that is frankly pitiful. Expanding the player base? You expanded NPO and friends player base. You try to make some morality argument here that bringing people to this game is a good thing, therefore if they ALL land up on NPO's side, it's fine and not a hegemony. Yes, your actions, your power, and your view of other alliances being a threat to you and preempting them, is a hegemony. Again, you can spin it any way you like and try to make everyone else drink whatever koolaid you drank a while ago, but it's inauthentic and bullshit. NPO controls GPWC and the "new player base". If you want to be real and stop making up some dumb spin, disband GPWC. Otherwise, you're just using this "new player base" as a farm to exploit and a lower tier army to do your bidding. Riiiiight. "NPO has never really done this" and yet, Roq had to gloriously stand up to them in CN against their hegemonic ways. Nice hole you have there. Check your spins, make sure they align. So you don't believe in good faith or bad faith is what you're saying? Ok yeah, let's throw out fairness and equity and make everything about our own short term self interest at the expense of the future environment. We've pointed to countless ways your side has negotiated in incredible bad faith. But by all means, continue to try to protect your overlord and glorious leader Roq.
  6. Considering NPO leads a hegemony in CN, it's pretty safe to assume you're trying to do the same. With the introduction of GOONs and the appearance of your suspicious GPWC horde, it's not far fetched to say you're doing the same here. And it's really kinda sad. Dominating online simulator games to the point of hegemonic stagnation is not in your long-term self interest, and clearly you haven't come to terms with that yet. You point at all your enemies losing members as a good thing. Funny because everyone used to frown at KT for doing the same. But you don't care about this game having members outside of NPO and it's sphere, and it's obviously just bad for the game. Everything you do is in bad faith, Roq. Maybe one day you'll finally gain some self awareness.
  7. I'm sorry but aren't those two things pretty much the same thing? Because in order to fear KERTCHOGG as a threat after they beat BK you would have to have some reason to think they're gonna hit you... Which comes back to the secret logs you have. Otherwise it's paranoia.
  8. Ok so since the entire argument of Coalition B is that our side needs to surrender (though what they really mean is admit defeat which is not the same thing), then my question is, why? Why not just negotiate peace? Terms unfavorable to Coalition A obviously means they lost. Seems like a complete pride thing. Asking for a surrender first is a bargaining tactic because if Co B then asks for a very punitive term and Co A doesn't want it, you could shut down negotiations and leak the surrender of Co A, therefore pressuring them to accept terms they otherwise wouldn't have. So you're either being too prideful, which is the PR argument you make against TGH and KT, or you have one or more very punitive terms that you don't want to reveal because you plan on pressuring the other side via PR. Considering the comments on the first/second page from Co B members that contradict each other, once saying they don't have terms because they don't want to bother because we'll never accept, another saying they had terms ready on the first day, and Roq saying they have terms but isn't allowed to disclose them, it seems very possible that the second scenario is true. If it's true you're only allowing negotiations once a month, you're obviously not acting in good faith. Despite what people say you don't actually have to admit defeat to start negotiations. That's not like some physical law of the universe. Just negotiate, anything outside of that is BS and probably nefarious. Edit: switched coalition letters lol woops
  9. Roq it's pretty bold of you to come on here and complain that our side is the reason we're not at peace when your literal 2IC goes around to every thread on the OWF and says stuff like "we will only accept surrender" etc. Oh and you also say that. You're not concerned with the war ending so stop your fake outrage. If you wanted peace, we would've had it by now. But no, you're hell-bent on getting us to surrender and are dictating the terms at the expense of all of your allies. Way to be the problem and then project it onto everyone else.
  10. To paint some crazy conspiracy that KTsphere and Chaos were/are actually in cahoots is over the top nonsense to the people who actually know what the relationship is between KTsphere and Chaos. KTsphere and Chaos never consolidated. We were literally at war with each other. As far as I know, we're not allied to KTsphere. You really believe we would go to war with each other just so we could pad our stats in a war against BK, in some long-con eventual hit on NPO? It's like I'm reading a book by Alex Jones.
  11. This whole "I'm above this game, I'm not actually a part of it because I just am on here for the lulz and don't really care" mentality is literally denial at it's finest. The fact that you play this game to begin with means you're a part of it. Can you completely change/switch sides/implode/rebuild and still be "a part" of the game? Uh yeah. But pretending you're somehow above it all, aloof in your tower of giggles and friendship with your buddies is delusional. If you're here and not playing the game, then why be here at all? Most of the people in this game have changed into different people/characters. The irony is that the ones who haven't are the very same ones who pretend like they're above it all. And to get back on topic, the whole Commerce Union thing absolutely needs to be addressed. The shady tactics going on as of late are the reason for this thread. Nobody in coalition B has denied any of these accusation and frankly, it will look very bad for you later on when you'll inevitably not be the largest Bloc anymore. Bare that in mind.
  12. Thanks for the welcome back, Dio. One could say, everything changed when the Pacifica nation(s) attacked. NPO/BK certainly have a lot of planes at their disposal, though the issue being that due to initial infra damage to BK and tight tiering in NPO, most of them are not being used. You can see this on both sides, lots of people sitting and waiting. I think this war will go on for a bit because much of the actual hard fighting is still stuck in the ~2000ns range. Beyond that there are certainly avenues for both sides to continue doing damage. As for my tiny nation, there are still fights to fight, but the lower tier doesn't have the advantage of the NPO meat-grinder and thus is at a disadvantage. So it'll be interesting to see where it goes from here. All in all, it's been a lot of fun, I've gotten some sweet Avatar-related war decs and I appreciate the good spirited fighting going on and the go-down-swinging attitude of a lot of folks on your side (in my tier). I personally urge either side to keep things civil and stay away from super-punitive terms. I wouldn't say NPO or BK have the FA capital to claim punitive terms after all the drama surrounding the leaks and later involvement of NPO. As for my side, well we like a fight and punitive terms would be against our good-spirited attitude towards war. I've been loving the drama, I hope that most people do as well. And Noctis, while others may not appreciate your activity, I do. It may not make you popular and you may say some things that are, well, unique. But I certainly denounce anyone that's slung toxic attacks on your character while you're simply trying to play this game and communicate with others. Knowing some of the dudes in Fark, I know you're in good hands.
  13. Ahh the classic attempt to discredit someone because of their current nation age. So you agree with Noctis? You’re winning if you’re in the top 2 spots?
  14. You really don’t know how wars work, do you?
  15. Theo pls. He baited you and you fell for it.
  16. Is it scandalous to have scotch on the 4th of July? Because I’m basically Scottish at this point
  17. Dog >>>>> everything else
  18. It’s good to post this, because it allows for others to think about how they communicate with others in this game and shows that toxicity happens everywhere. It’s really a shame because Shifty is a good dude who also happens to be one of the most interesting characters in this game. Thanks for the clarity and I hope this acts as a warning to others in the community to be more mindful of how your words may affect those around you.
  19. This is how we at Soup feel, take it as an official statement:
  20. Oof NPO the game killer. Never changes, does it? This was probably the most defensive and, frankly, unintelligible DoW I’ve ever had the misfortune of reading. At least have a meme to distract from the fact you’re lying.
  21. So basically what we’re learning here is that Roq and BK sphere think it’s good PR to be pixel huggers so they’re trying to lie and weasel their way out of the truth. BK and co had a plan, they very likely talked to NPO and syndi about it a long time ago, considering they were literally going to go to war last month and Roq is now trying to save NPOs skin. Continuing to try to deny things is going to make you look more like a fool, Roq.
