War reasons didn't even say 'Arrgh Counter'.

But it seems like you were conveyed the context, hence why you are saying this.

All in all, like every one we deserve the right to counter. Also, we wont stop you from hitting us unprovoked too ... that is ... until it dont bother us y'know.

A little piece of advice though ; there's a saying, bear with me : "If you finger someone, be prepared to take the hand". This might sound kinky enough, but it's literal meaning is that if you bother someone be prepared to get bothered back ... without being salty.

This is honestly something to think about.  This is the first time in a year I've read a good argument for why I should have more than a few cities.

Sadly, I just gave away all my billions last week when I thought I was going to die. (In real life; I was in an elevator accident a few years ago that put me in a wheelchair for 6 months, and while my legs healed, I sadly gained some circulation and heart valve problems, and some anger/bitterness over my probable imminent demise.)

Well it is what it is.

I hope you have a speedy recovery mate

The thing that makes it unprofitable for many is whenever you get into the 10-15 city count and hit into the Top 25 alliances. At that point, you're guaranteed to get countered by people that are more than capable of shredding a pirate without blinking (because they have builds that are more than capable of making money without needing to resort to piracy) and they generally will punish you.

Nahh. Counters arent even a problem at 30+ cities too. Basically, 10-25 city range is the most lucrative range for a pirate to profit. People at 20 city+ profit more than lower peeps too

  4. My friend, stop abusing the votes.

On the other hand Iron dome was too over powered compared to its cheap price. So the one with ID is more invincible.

The votes are always rigged because of the majority of the pixel huggers in a 300 man alliance.

And @Lord Tyrion nukes and missiles are not loosers weapons. Looser is the one who gets hurt if they are dropped on them hence nicknamed pixel huggers.

    • 10% increase in ships killed by ships.
    • New Attack Type: Bombardment
      • When a nation is blockaded naval units can bombard a city instead of performing a naval battle.
      • This attack destroys 33% less infrastructure
      • This attack destroys 2 non-power plant improvements in that city
      • This attack costs 50% less gas to perform.
      • This attack costs 50% more munitions to perform
      • If a bombardment attack happens while the defending nation has defending ships, the casualties caused by those defending ships is increased 25%.
        • Example: If you attack with 200 ships and they have 50 ships defending and those 50 ships were going to kill 20 attacking ships, in a bombardment attack they instead would kill 25 ships.
      • You must use at least 75% of your max navy when performing this attack
        • max navy is determined by the number ships you could have if all of your cities had max dry docks, not how many dry docks you current have

@PrefontaineI like most of the thread. But i am confused on this one. Is the bombardment only for the nation who has been blocked by the attacker, Or is it that the attacker can initiate bombardment after he naval blocks another nation?

It would be lovely to see the latter in effect as people would actually have to think strategically if to blockade someone or no. But the second option (where the blockadier can bombard the blockaded ones) is overkill for the people/alliances (usually small/micros) if they get into a war and get their improvements destroyed in an all out war.

Of course some people will say that he is a pirate so he fears his improvements get rekt up etc etc. But if you think about it logically, it will hurt the emerging player base, most of whom rely on raiding for their initial growth. And also the alliances who are new and dont have enough money to support the infra and improvements together.
