  1. I am proposing a new resource: Gold -Acts as the medium, not the currency. -It is not the same as money, in fact it acts more like credits. -So whenever infra become extremely costly, you are better off using the 1 credit for 100 infra mechanic. -This essentially sets a cap on what infra can cost, but a fluid cap due to the fact that credit prices are not set. -You can also trade in 1 credit for 2k of any refined resource, so if steel reached 15k ppu you could trade in a credit and make 30m instead of the 20m they are going for now, setting a cap on steel prices. -Why is this important? -Because it can set a cap as well as set a min. If you could sell 2k steel at 2kppu for one credit it would act as a buffer against steel dropping too far, because trading 4m worth of steel for 20m credit is advantageous. It would lower amount of steel in circulation, thus stabilizing prices -So why can’t we use credits to keep resource prices from getting to high or low? -Because there are not enough credits in game to actually control 1,000,000s of each resource being moved on market. Alex could allow in game cash/resources to buy credits while allowing irl money to buy credits, but this may cut into his profits. -If Alex puts drains in place but we have a global(like now) where ~10% of refined resources were destroyed in one week, we could face exponentially higher prices on resources, which gives alliances who sit out an even bigger advantage. This would force Alex to undo drains, or add new drains when resources drop like we saw after Knightfall, but these are merely bandaids -Furthermore, if Alex wishes to keep the creation of credits only viable through irl money, he could create a new currency, Gold, which would become a medium where you could trade 2k steel for 1 gold and trade 1 gold for 1.6k alum(just an ex.) -This eliminates the hassle of having to use market and constantly get undercut when you find yourself in the situation above. - It would act like credits act, but there would be enough gold to actually keep millions of resources from getting to overvalued or too undervalued. Essentially, all resources including money are tied into gold, so when a huge gap occurs traders take advantage and make money while stabilizing the economy in the process - For example, if steel hits were to hit 15k and there’s a massive shortage, people could generate new steel via trading in gold for steel In fact, It would never reach that point because once it went up 1-2k from avg price traders who bought 2k steel at avg ppu and exchanged for one gold could sell the one gold for 2k steel and resell at higher price, slowly flooding market w new steel to balance price back out. - If this we’re in place during a Knightfall situation, when everyone was trying to sell resources to get $ to build infra, the huge crash would not have taken place. Once prices got too low the resources would have been traded in for gold, which can be exchanged for money so everyone wins. People get money for rebuild, resources are removed from game, making prices go back to normal. In conclusion, this would keep all prices relative to each other and keep the resource market well balanced through players actions and without Alex having to come up with a fix.
  2. This is a solid suggestion. I think allowing players to customize how they fight is good for the game. Also planes shouldn’t be nerfed, but their score should reflect their power. Same w every other unit. Another good project would be Spy Satellites. IMO, spies are merely an accessory unit and have little to no empact on who wins the war. IRL, intelligence war is king. If you have the project you go from killing 1-5% of enemy units during sabotage to something like 5-10%. You could also just boast it to 5-10% w/o the project, or add it to Intelligence Agency
