They already doubled the number of improvs destroyed by missile/nukes and now they’re adding another improv destroyed. If you don’t have VDS\ID then a missile can destroy 3 improvs and a nuke will take out 5 am I reading that right? That means a single player can destroy almost 20 improvs a day? Not in a single nation of course, but a single nation could lose 15 improvs from nukes a day if I understand these changes correctly, and nukes don’t kill mil improvs so it’s all passive income killed.

The issue I have is, even that increase is a drop in the hat.  Granted I am an outlier, but I have 3000 improvements in my nation.  killing 5 improvements destroys 0.16% of my improvements.

    Would you handshake with me?

We used to have a handshake...

Edit, i just looked at your treaties, and holy shit is there anyone you dont shake hands with?  You are a real handshake !@#$ aren't you?  Just giving out handshakes left and right.  There was a time when handshakes were special, and had to be earned, ya know, you take a person out for dinner first get to know em a little, and after a few interactions, maybe you extend that hand.  Not all just wam bam shake my hand.

All that being said I will handshake with you, but you better wash your hands first.

  3. You guys all need to emulate the old Grumpy standard of handshake naps.  If you need me, I got your back, if I need you, you got my back.  If you and I dont want to back each other up anymore, then we just call it a day go our separate ways.   Don't let silly paper get in the way of having each others backs.  One trusts most the ones they are willing to NAP with.

Also dont be a jackass, i dont know you, but from some of the feedback i am seeing in here from people i do know, they seem to think you are a jackass. I would recommend you stop doing that if you and your alliance want to be taken seriously.

  4. Dev team I have a question on the Military Salvage project.

Does it give 5% on all wins, be it Pyrrhic, Moderate, Immense? or is it just Immense?  And I assume you are getting 5% on damage done to both sides, so if you run a ground attack and kill 1000 tanks, and lose 1000 tanks, you are getting 50 steel back?

  5. The USA is not a purely capitalist society,  public schools, the police, public transportation, healthcare, those are all "socialist" policies.   Realistically the way it works right now in the USA is pretty good, capitalists drive progress, and the government tempers them when they get a little too greedy.

The issue I think we may have is that lobbyists are in the pockets of too many politicians allowing our capitalists a little too much rope in some cases, which is why you are seeing the rich get richer and the poor get poorer.

  6. Darkblade gets it,

So I will just say basically what he said.  The only reason to buy cities at our size is military.  We were joking in grumpy just a few days ago that the ROI on city 50 is something like 10-11 years.

Little nations have so many advantages today that building to the 20s for someone who is seriously playing this game can take about 3 months.  3 MONTHS!  i remember as one of the fastest growing day 1 nations in the game, it took me 1000 days to hit city 25.  it then took me almost another 2500 days to hit c50.

The only benefit I see to this is maybe inspire more conflict, with more alliances resisting being pushed onto the low income colors. (Rich get richer for being dicks to all the newer alliances and nations, maybe more would revolt if the difference is made bigger. This suggestion doesn't make me want to feed into the delusion some have they can control who's on a color.)

I don't believe alliances can control it, so penalizing them more for not doesn't make much sense. If any alliance is upset I'm on green, they should blame the game mechanics for penalizing them. Rather than feeling super entitled. While some might ask polite, most don't bother and just feel elitist; bossing others around. Think last person who asked me suggested purple, see it's the worst color in the game. yeah right. Advice doesn't seem so friendly when told to go to really bad colors, as people are asking a favor. Color mechanic might be more interesting if alliances put their training AAs on the colors of their competitors; rather than conspiring together with all the big alliances to harass all the smaller ones onto really bad colors; where they also force their training alliances to be. The big alliances don't use it in an interesting way.

You say elitist, I say you are a freeloader.

You are here making bank off the hard work of the large nations that sit on green put in to become large nations.  I am guessing you probably dont get bothered much about it now, but if the value gets increased, and we arent at max, you can believe that there will be some work put in by the alliances on each color to maximize their income.

Yes you 100 percent can control who is on a color, the only thing stopping alliances, is how much effort they want to put in, and how stubborn the nations that dont want to leave are.

Good job with the MDP treaty to rose, you really outdid yourself. i'm sure this will be a very good precedent you've started for the game, Eclipse will take note.

My gov is learning, so thanks for putting the pressure on, helps my guys learn some good lessons.  Also great job by you guys reacting as quickly as you did, that was seriously impressive.

Did you take a class with Alex on how to make PnW more into a bad Nation states? I really like Alex's kickoff but the long term could be better, as I really like the alliance system but after all the NAP discussions over the past year or even more the conclusion is farming until freaking May?

I'd vote for a stop on all war mechanics developments and have Alex input a tiny tractor gif somewhere.

if you really dont like it, I would look to your leadership and tell them, as they are the ones who have been pretty effectively weaponizing it over that last year or so.  This war really was us trying to force a nap change, and it is why eclipse jumped in, because they realized if they didn't, we could do to them what they have been doing to others.

  10. With the other 3/5ths of the major players in the game jumping into the fight, lets take a stab at just how high food prices may get?

Currently the price is around 300ppu, most likely in the next few days world wide radiation is going to jump back up to 100% world wide and will most likely stay there for atleast the next few weeks.

So what are we thinking?  350ppu? 400? 500?

    Chime in below!

I saw one frat boy recently, he had a container literally shaped like a huge ass that he had to carry around with his arms wrapped around it.  Had a goofy straw in it to drink out of.  Said "Huge Ass Beers!" on it too.

Not sure if he had that made or bought it from them.

Mama SRD is a semi professional painter, and when i bought my first house I asked her, could she paint me a big ass painting to put over my fireplace.  Challenge accepted, she painted me a nice landscape picture, but if you really look at it, its in the shape of a giant ass.  She was very proud of herself, and the painting still hangs on my wall.
