If I was afraid of war I could've simply VMed or joined any other uninvolved aa. I'm surprised you still reject to see the underlying reason behind it, which is simply: Inactive FA. As long as you rely on HoF for FA decision-making, you shouldn't be surprised about people leaving to competent alliances.
