The Great Neutral Crusade: A Lost Cause?
Tim Armstrong commented on Foltest's blog entry in Philosphy's Not Dead
IMO, TEst is keeping the game interesting and fun. If TFP would just show some personality and charisma about the situation I'm sure TEst leadership would come to an agreement. I know it's not my intention to get "pride points" with the custom flag. It's actually an awesome flag and coming to agreement with us could have actually created a collegial relationship with them. -

What do you want to do when you grow up?
Tim Armstrong replied to Sailor Jerry's topic in General Discussion
I'm also in my 40s. CPA, MBA. I don't ever want to grow up but I plan to retire and live near the beach in a warm area of the world. My nation will be bequethed to my nephew when I die and he will cherish it forever. -
Yay, Manthrax! Best wishes for lots of fireworks and minimal knives in the night while you sleep. Thanks for all of your contributions to the game, Partisan. o/ t$

Hey, PnW players! I've missed you all and my system is lacking in salt so here I am to get my fix. Taunting and teasing is all in good fun and I'm glad that we all continue to get on so well in our own ways. Blood for the Blood God!

The problems with strength ratings.
Tim Armstrong replied to Prefontaine's topic in Game Suggestions
The fact that nations with high city count, strong military, and low infra can updeclare on nations with the same city count low or mid-sized military, and high infra is a problem that needs to be addressed. I think Pre has come up with a viable solution by changing nation score to be less about infra and more about city count. If nations with the ability to build more evenly matched militaries are able to declare on each other it level sets the field. -

Any other black/mixed black Politic and War gamers?
Tim Armstrong replied to Jacobs's topic in General Discussion
Hey, Jacobs. There are a few ways that I'm familiar with to connect with players OOC if you are interested in personal characteristics. One way is to become a VIP, which I believe costs a credit. My understanding is that there is a VIP lounge on these forums where players connect, including a picture thread. Another way is to like Politics and War on FB so you can connect with others who have done the same. Sheepy even created a Politics and War player group on FB which he or other players in the group can add you to. Also, many alliances have forums where people share stuff including pics. Then there is always IRC, but be careful not to share too much info publicly as it is anyone can be there. But if you want to query someone that you've met in game it's a great tool for chatting. As far as your question goes, I'm not black or mixed. More of a translucent actually.
