Terrorists would be more successful without the barriers we already have, so it's easy to make the assumption the deaths and catastrophes would make a dramatic climb upwards, which undermines your argument that the usa/world should just lay back and take it since there aren't enough deaths to justify trying to stop the deaths. :|
