Is this about up/down declarations or about an alliance wanting its top member to be able to reign death and destruction on lots weaker nations. The +10 is good since it means you can't "grow out of being attacking" if a goodly portion of those in the 10 below you are out for your blood.

I agree that its probably fine how it is. You want to grow out of war range, it means you can maintain limited military and benefit further from the security of a high score. You want to wage war on lots of people, spend money on building resource stocks instead of more cities and infra, or get some projects. Still, it does kind of suck having no one to fight because you're too good at the econ game. I get that.

Santa is part of the fasco-consumerist-corporatist elite that holds the workers down. Kill Santa! Kill him for the Global Socialist Revolution.

Largest Steel Producer, Largest Aluminum Producer, Largest Army, etc...

Its a player-driven economy, something I consider a benefit in a world. As the mass of players goes up(IF?), the market will become more stable. A small market can be manipulated by a few people pretty easy.

Anyone Want To Explain the War That Broke Out?
Aisha Greyjoy replied to Mikhail Gorbachev's topic in Orbis Central
No, I'm pretty sure its the military victory that matters. -
GPA will lead after this race, and after every subsequent race too. Unless we see another Woodstock Massacre. The motivation to do one of those every 6 months won't be there, and eventually they'll be #1 and too strong to easily challenge.

Welcome, and make people pay the Iron price, not the Gold Price.

The Iron Isles has an Army, and Air Force. In the days of yore, it had a fearsome fleet of Galleys, but the Iron Isles, lacking both Iron and Coal, was unable to keep up in the age of Steel. Its wooden ships were lost in battle a hundred years ago against the first ironclads. Today the army consists of five infantry brigades. The infantry are armed with FN-Fal assault rifles. Squads typically also have one heavy machine gun, typicall a GShG-7.62. All units are motorized. Mechanized infantry is an innovation the Iron Isles has not embraced, citing expense. That did not stop the army from acquiring a large stock of M-60 Patton Main Battle Tanks. Its armored forces are organized into eight regiments. While the armored forces have some battle experience, they suffer from a lack of equipment diversity. There is no self propelled artillery, making fully integrated combined arms battle impossible. A handful of scout tanks, very obsolete T-60's, were purchased recently, but it isn't clear how effective they are. The Air Force of the Iron Isles, however, is in much better shape. Two Squadrons of natively built II-F4 fighters complement the single squadron of II-B3 bombers. While the Iron Isles air force hasn't dropped a bomb since the war with Demon, using primitive II-B1 bombers, the many exports to smaller nations has seen the II-F4 prove itself. The II-B3 does not have as good a reputation due the high demand for spare parts, and the II-B4 is rumored to be in development.

Nice admin work there. Lazy Most admins would have deleted his signature and done nothing more. -
But, as for search engines, for porn, you gotta go Bing. Anything else, Google.

Are you saying that the charges are false? Are you saying that UPN's offensive against TAC was impressive? Don't read indignant tone, I'm really just asking.

Education could be a requirement for certain projects. Can't build nukes without at least some universities to train physics PhD's.

Introduce Anti Air and Underwater Warfare
Aisha Greyjoy replied to Vincent's topic in Game Suggestions
I'd like to see these things added....later. I feel like underwater and aa are a big change, and we should let things "shake out" more for a while before seriously considering them. Like 9 months or so. -
I think comments would be helpful, for clarification and questions.

Auto-Embargo Nations You're At War With
Aisha Greyjoy replied to elsuper's topic in Game Suggestions
I agree, trading with the enemy is akin to treason. It should embargo them by default, and unembargo them at peace. -
