Despite rising concerns about Kangaroos becoming an endangered species, the Iron Isles has refused to ban imports of Kangaroo meat, instead offering a reverse tariff to help encourage its citizens to eat the meat. My God. You people. Defending yourself when another alliance attacks you is not a non-neutral act. Neutrality means they didn't seek or start this fight. Successfully being neutral requires you can defend your neutrality with force or else you're not neutral, you're just a victim in waiting. GPA will get rolled. Lots of people don't like em. Even I don't. But it'll be "because I don't like em" when I fight em, not because of some bullshit made up "if you defend yourself, you're the aggressor" crap I see being thrown around here.

Actually, the Islamic divide on Conservative vs Liberal is just as heated and interesting as it is in the USA. You see a general push towards Conservative all across the Islamic world. The Ottoman Empire dealt with this pendulum for centuries. Conservatives saying "We just need to follow our holy book and God will take care of us", and the liberals saying "We need to modernize, adopt western thinking, and you know, bring modern weapons to modern battlefields."

He should have stayed and fought. He demonstrated his team had a much better grasp on how to manipulate rules committees, and they could have tried any number of things to unbind some delegates. Stealing the election from Trump at the convention was the plan all along. I'm surprised he backed down.
