  1. I think it’s more the principle of reliance on one’s self than a lack of trust in their allies. Pantheon has made a mistake which can be divided into three phases: 1. The lack of proper minimum military requirements and/or enforcement of this policy 2. The admission of someone like ValhallaValkyrie into government 3. Failure to send the bank to a proper depository 1: While I am sure Pantheon has MMR in regards to planes/ground, they apparently do not have an MMR set for ships, and/or are not sufficiently enforcing this policy sonar to prevent mishaps like these. 2: ValhallaValkyrie is one of those people who VM’d in Silent, and would optimally be disqualified from government positions, especially high government. 3: Valkyrie did not possess a sufficient, well balanced military. For two, the nation has little war exp. For three, since Pantheons upper tier was being raided, it would have made sense to send the bank to one of their allies rather than a nation that could be targeted easily. (TKR would have been optimal if they allowed it) Having said that, kudos to both TKR and TCW to have had sent counters in without any prior request, counters that have by this point in time effectively saved Pantheons bank from being beiged in as great of an amount as it would have been.
  2. I was linked this thread a while back so idk I’ll put in my two cents for the person that linked it: The question you should be asking yourselves is: what is rigging in context of an online poll for a nation simulator, and what is the reasoning behind a specific vote. For one, the very concept of “rigging” is not an actual thing in relation with this specific set of polls - how would you rig this? The votes are transparent enough (go ahead and uncheck the secrecy box if management has that checked if you want) and are limited to one per active account as far as I am aware. The fact of the matter is, traditional rigging isn’t a thing here. It’s a non issue. What most people are talking about is “manipulation of votes”, a phrasing I do not agree with on a fundamental basis. For two, votes are always based on the voter trying to stick to his preference set - and in the context of this eSim there isn’t really a “I forced these guys to vote” thing going on either - convinced, lobbied, campaigned and endorsed, sure - even if they’re “ordering” players to vote for certain players, I view it as a legitimate strategy. Here the “want” for voting for someone would outweigh the “rational” decision - whatever that is xdxd. IQ convinced their members that them voting for these specific candidates is the better option - get over it, that is literally how campaigning works. The common misconception here and in other threads is that this is somehow illegitimate, and breaks this “sanctity” of this poll system. That isn’t the case at all: This system was never meant to accurately portray who was who in the community and the game; the person who can convince the maximum amount of people to vote for them wins by default. That is how these votes are decided, have been and most likely will be. Want to do something? Convince your own member base to vote for your own people/alliances. B_itching does nothing. Popularity contests are won this way, not by complaining about the other side consolidating votes you think should’ve been received by others. Edit: no walls of text (albeit one as short as this) on mobile ;-;
  3. I'd bring up the various points in time when Kastor has actively and very publicly shat on Polaris, and it's competency (or lack thereof), but seeing as this is the guy who stated "We will fight forever" and peaced out with his opponents that very day, I'd say the point would be somewhat redundant. (jkjk lov u @Kastor babe, good luck for complete paper domination? )

  13. Earlier today, ~1 hour or so ago, Sheepy, the great Woolly Overlord, and mastermind behind many great, most riveting updates, released a change to the Economic system, changing the way most improvements behave in an attempt to disrupt the deflation of goods and assets. To examine the downgrade update that Sheepy, merciful Overlord, released, I'll be keeping this thread to note the consequences of the updates. First things first... commerce: That as you can see, is a spreadsheet. Or well, part of a spreadsheet. It's one of the most basic builds out there - and that is why I have chosen it. The income gained by that build would be roughly ~155k. (At 5.06 cumulative bonus, and Tech Adv. as your domestic policy) New Update: Commerce formulae change to: Improv Commerce Cap Subways 8 1 Supermarkets 3 6 Banks 5 5 Shopping Malls 9 4 Stadiums 12 3 What does that mean? Well, it means that for 100% commerce, optimally, you should have: 3 stadiums, 4 malls, 4 banks, and a subway Throw in + 1 bank and 3 supermarkets for 114% commerce (goddamit Sheepy not a straight 115 >_>) What that means it, for the same infra/city, age, cumulative bonus etc. build, you'd have... ...as your new 100% commerce build. That's roughly a 20k decrease in revenue.... ...at the cost of an extra 3 slots. Tune in for the next post.
  14. @Kastor woah dude, back off. That "FTFY" gig is mine. Accurate tho.
