It always makes me laugh how tS keeps saying we "betrayed" them in the same war that they attacked our direct and only other ally. A war in which Alpha only honored MDPs or responded to aggression.
Secondly, we never said we would only engage Roz Wei. The log Partisan uses doesn't even say that. If someone can show me saying, "We will only attack Roz Wei under any circumstances" be my guest. It doesn't exist. It's not even implied from the log he brings out each time. All it says is we had every right to hit Roz. At that time, its' all we were engaging.
The war changed, more people declared. Alpha adapted to that change. Just as The Syndicate and any other alliance adapts to new DoWs with their own new DoW's

TEst vs. Alpha before = fun. tS-Alpha, maybe fun. Dogpile = not fun nor any sort of challenge for anyone. You didn't want a fun war. You wanted to destroy us because you dislike me, Pre. And that dislike comes from a variety of reasons, none of which you ever admit and even pre-date Alpha-tS tensions.
The line of thinking that says, "only sign sphere people" is flawed and leads to huge stagnations in the game. It's the cross-sphere treaties that usually bring more fun to the game.
But when one sides views you as a meatshield, the cross-sphere isn't the problem - it's just the relationship, irrespective of what spheres they lie in. If one ally didn't attack the other, it's not a problem Pre. I should've known that tS/TEst didn't view Alpha as a friend. They only befriended Alpha because they needed us for that war in Oktoberfest. Mea Culpa. And it's sad to see people try to revise our roll in Oktoberfest as a way to try to justify using us as their meatshield.

The Syndicate really did take far more damage because of the early Alpha-TEst peace.
Only Seabasstion can answer this, but literally no one knew of his 'drill' or whatever with Steve Prefontaine. Given how Steve used that as a CB to join the war on Alpha, it does make one wonder what the real reason for that fake-out Sparta activation of our treaty.

I wonder if TEst will either get rolled or suck up to Syndisphere to prevent that rolling? Pantheon will be out for blood, but TEst can keep them in-line by sucking up to Syndisphere and make them just eat the damage they took.

should they ask Justice department and Alpha back to their little(nos.) elite(guality) teams?
Can you post this again in English?

There are going to be a few people that try out NationStates, and soon thereafter those people will be WTF'ing like crazy followed by 1 more inactive NationStates nation.

Good post. This game also rewards coordination really well. And it will scale up nicely with pollution changing game mechanics depending on size.

The Events Leading Up To Steve's War/TEst's Lucky Break (Updated)

Interestingly enough, I never knew Seabasstion hated me. And it was Jim who approached me about a treaty after being paperless allies for a time. My main contact in Sparta was Jim and he was constantly talking about how he thought TEst was going to attack Sparta. So clearly there was a disconnect between the reality, given they merged so clearly TEst wasn't their enemy - and what Alpha was told by Sparta. I would've much preferred to have never known Sparta felt TEst was going to attack them and was threatening them. Because in the end, it was just confusing when I saw them merge, lol. And those Sparta-TEst tensions (or as I was told) bled over into TEst toward Alpha aggression.
Alpha was never planning an offensive strike on the The Syndicate. Nor did we talk to any of your allies trying to get them to drop and isolate you. We informed allies we felt you were preparing or an attack. We were right.
That is where it ends and you've never brought out any real evidence that I've said we were going to aggressively attack you with allies.
Can't we just end the charade Partisan. You hit us because you didn't like us and were upset from the prior war. It's not really that bad of a CB even. Just the dishonesty at this point is pointless.
