And now I'm not.
Thank you to everybody here who made the time more enjoyable. I can still be reached on Discord.

Shut up you Ponzi Scheming turd!
Sure, I guess my issue is that in the circumstances you laid out and most notably in NPOLT (which maybe have prompted this response?) there was absolutely no good faith effort to engage. Y’all have taken the good faith efforts and quite literally just yelled “liar.” That doesn’t create an enticing incentive system.
You’ve also got people like Ronny and I who are genuinely curious what the smoking gun evidence is that keeps getting alluded to and will absolutely change our minds when shown it, but you all keep teeing up arguments for the people that aren’t even here.
What I’ve seen is perfectly acceptable evidence for a war and a pre-emptive one, but I’ve not seen some grand i conspiracy that keeps being referenced.
It was a legitimate business!
Other people more important than me would need to address any logs but if leadership on your side admitted the bolded part talks might go better. As is we are using the same CB SRD and others in HM were fine going along with a year ago against BK but now suddenly it's not good enough.
Instead the same people are rushing to shift the focus on how we prempted and thus attacked first. It makes it difficult to believe your side is actually engaging in good faith especially when there have been other people in government positions on your side making simulatenous arguments like "this was the most fair the war could have been". which are provably wrong.

Count me befuzzled as to who the audience is as well. Ain't nobody engaging y'all except me, Ronny, Charles, and Tyrion.
It's really come down to who has the better propaganda machine and truly it is no surprise y'all win that fight 9 times out of 10. You're not wrong in a lot of your points, but your characterization of them as these black and white issues is disingenuous. I mean let's just take one of your hyperlinks and arguably the single most important post to your argument: Ronny's good faith attempt to dispel the existence of a coherent plan to hit quack aggressively, and an agreement between Swamp and HM to defend each other against Quack (Rose joined in at the last minute), that's not a treaty. That's two spheres who feel like they are threatened assessing their situation. Y'all don't like the fact that HM or the other spheres saw you as a threat, and frick man, that's fine, but you aren't going to turn back the clock and logic them into believing you. Hell, you're not going to logic them into it now that y'all declared the war. So I am seriously curious now what there is left for us to Wall of Text about?
How quickly people forget! Hodor. Can I ask you something? Why is the winning side always confused that the losing side doesn't just shut up? It happens in almost every war. The losing side never shuts up. Do you remember DDR? TGH did not exactly shut up.
The only time there is an exception to that rule is when the alliance being rolled is so ostracized from the community they have no hope of appealing to public support. Like the recent dogpiling of TCW.
Perhaps our efforts here are futile but Quack leadership fought a war a year ago with much of current HM leadership. A major part of the CB for that war was Sphinx logs and now we are being told by the same alliances and people that Sphinx logs in the exact same context are a bad CB. It's worth repeating.

I mean it seems pretty relevant to me. It really was not that long ago that everybody and their mother was complaining about IQ consolidation and the secret ties after their "break-up". The fact that these issues are constantly coming up and we're all finding ourselves circling back to them is par for the course for this game. There is clearly a reason why we keep needing to have this conversation.
On that note it seems pretty irresponsible to me to completely disregard the past as if it has no bearing on the present when it, in fact, is the entire underlying premise behind the OP. If we want to have an honest discussion about where we go in the future with the meta, we have to consider where we came from and not use toxic rhetoric like calling something "ridiculous" and "garbage". If you want this thread to have any significance whatsoever it's probably not a good idea to quickly disregard what people have to say, unless of course your aim is to simply spread propaganda.
I've personally spent 4 years trying to appease people about something I've had no control over. We've been rolled with it either as an outright CB or used as an argument against us multiple times. If people aren't satisfied with that by now they are never going to be and I don't consider it our responsibility to continue trying to satisfy those people. It is Sisyphean.
Cooper has only been trying for two years so he's still got some spark in him but he's not going to be able to address it either since it happened years before he joined the game

I guess with a leader that doesn't even know how Ad Homs work, this type of nonsense is to be expected from their membership.
Whether a nation is in VM or not isn't the deciding factor to if a person is worth responding to here, that has clearly been the case for this thread. What matters is the content of what they said, and what I said goes against Partisan's goals here.
If what I said was inaccurate, there would be something for you to gain by simply showing it to be false and knocking it out of the way. If it was accurate, there would be a point to it as well, if you could use your lies, fallacies, intimidation, and gaslighting to discredit it, you can then proceed with your goals in an effective way. I think the later is clearly the case here.
Please put atleast some level of thought into your next reply, you're making a fool of yourself. This is basic stuff Smith. It was pretty savage, I was more then a little happy with it, I think it's for the best really LOL. When you say publicly such derpy stuff, you should expect to get smacked. What works in the echo chamber doesn't always work so well outside
It does start to seem that TS and TKR rely on intimidation for their OWF FA. With all this blatant lying, fallacious logic, nosnense, and gas-lighting, it isn't a hard task for anyone to crush it. I suppose it does suck for you guys when there is someone whom cant give less of a frick about the strength of your 2 alliances when they argue with you LOL. With how crazy you guys are, replies to TKR/TS will often have to be harsh if they are honest and accurate, and that may make some people think twice heh
Though here you guys have simply proved my point about your awful culture and derpy, dishonest leadersI did not read this either but as you wrote multiple paragraphs in response to my two sentences I suspect you did not take my advice.

Your concerns about Rose, and other spheres in general, are wrong. Alliances can decide to join in or not depending on whatever reasoning they want. This isn't new, it was established by Prefontaine with the "TEst Edict" and used by The Syndicate against Alpha, thus allowing non-treaty paperless ties within Orbis. While this wasn't the first time it has been used, it is the most major of the first times, and used by YOUR LEADER to AID him in a war where they would have suffered heavy losses without help. So again, tell me where anything you said isn't precedent your side has used to order dog piles on your political opponents.
How about another example, when your entire sphere + Grumpy(who, was paperless) attacked Terminus Est. You used the "TEst Edict" then as well, where were the posts clamoring on the forums for aid and how unfair it was people who weren't tied were helping each other?
I know this is past stuff, but the point is, this has largely been done by your side, claiming the moral high ground here isn't good. Also, remember, you went OFFENSIVE. You are the aggressor. Remember that.
Also, I know you're TKR, but when you ally Pre, he's your leader.
I'd just like to point out that these arguments are so old we don't even really have the people to respond to them anymore. If I were to ping IC to respond to some garbage on the OWF he would block me forever
There comes a certain point where the "I know this is past stuff but..." starts becoming a bit ridiculous. There should surely be enough recent things to criticize us for?

Cool but there is no point talking to somebody who quit the game years ago.
Spend your time on something more productive than writing a WoT for a game you don't play and that I'm not even going to read

In all seriousness does the OWF no longer have moderators? Does there need to be a specific rule that players who quit the game years ago can't derail one of the games only active discussions?

If you look at how many nations are actually fighting, 1029 v 776 last i checked and how many cities those nations all have it paints an entirely different picture
On top of that if any one of the current blocs involved, weren't, it would also paint a drastically different picture of a so far relatively even fight
Yes when you have a numbers advantage you don't need to use every nation at once all the time. You can leave some in reserve as needed and for counters.
You haven't been paying attention if you think the fighting is even, it's not possible with the numbers the way they are. Also it's still the first round lol.

56 minutes ago, Grave said:The IQ comparisons are overblown, nobody is being forced to quit. But at some point since the end of GW14 you have left every bloc wondering when (not if ) it will be their turn on the chopping bloc, similarly that if they don't do something now, nothing will be done when it us there turn, or even worse, that even if they do... it won't be enough. Is a good enough CB on its own.
In addition I know on paper this is less 'even' than if either Swamp or Rose/Cam wasn't involved.
But in practice this is probably the most Even this war could have been oriented, and you should really congratulate yourselves for that. but I think you knew that just as much as we did
What exactly are you saying about your alliances when this is "the most Even this war could have been oriented"?
You have have literally doubled the amount of cities.
It's not even like Knightfall where we have a dominant upper tier, HM is competitive there and now in this war with Rose joining (for reasons?) you have a 2x advantage there as well.
Stick to calling us whiners, it's an easier narrative than trying to pretend this war is even.
Edit: This will have to be updated as Schrute and WTF just joined on your side as well lol

The rest of the game!?!? I will have you know that Schrute Farms is doing absolutely nothing, and is in now way assisting in our war effort.
Regardless of that it did not require the rest of the world's help to fight us. You just chose to call them in
It's fine that you did so, but don't pretend otherwise

Wait... how are you the victims here? you attacked us (again btw), and its taking a coalition of 3 separate blocks working together to fight you guys.
And again, I didn't call you guys IQ, I said I wanted to prevent you from becoming like them.
You did not need the entire rest of the game to work together to fight us. You only needed that if you wanted a dogpile.

There is a fifth dimension beyond that which is known to shitposter. It is a dimension as vast as space and as timeless as infinity. It is the middle ground between light and shadow, between science and superstition, and it lies between the pit of man's fears and the summit of his knowledge. This is the dimension of imagination. It is an area which we call... Sphinx’s leaks.
Suspended in time and space for a moment, your introduction to Mr. Sphinx, who lives in a very private world of darkness. A universe whose dimensions are the size, thickness, length of a DM. Keeping in mind we are not surprised by what we see (is anyone?). Because this is a world of repeated mistakes and broken schemes. This is the Twilight Zone, and the world is about to enter it.
