  1. The alt-right is a white-knighted chauvinist without the chivalry.
  2. That is all. So, I've already gotten it. I played the trial over the summer. Ugh, I am so happy video game shooters are finally taking a good direction. Who else loves tanks?
  3. "Like a rose, trampled on the ground, You took the fall and thought of [us] above all"
  4. May the odds be ever in your favour
  5. "There! Sits the only King I mean to bend my knee to — The King in the North!"
  6. In recent decades, the introduction of massive standard testing regimes in the aim of "accountability" and academic improvement has been mired in controversy. From the Bush administration's No Child Left Behind to Obama's Race To The Top programs, educators, parents, and students have been split as to whether standardized tests actually improve the quality of education / kids' learning. What do you think? Should we have standardized tests? Here's two (biased) arguments that show the problems and importance standardized testing: Standardized Testing, John Oliver (Video) Shock and Awe, Waiting for Superman (Video)
  7. You're optimistic about dissatisfaction in the Democratic Party but I think the majority who voted for Obama and Clinton before will be motivated to turn out for Hillary. The Democrats have a good ground game per usual — I think the Clinton campaign has three times the field offices on the ground as the Trump campaign — and the polls point in this direction. In any case, I personally find the whole anti-media narrative outdated in the Internet age. Who actually thinks newspapers can control the flow of information anymore? Every journalist now has a twitter account because they're in thrall to the movement of clicks, the aggregate of the consumers, which they have little understanding of or influence over. They're just salespeople trying to cash in on a gig, and politics is full of potential leads. A more interesting study would be how many Americans actually care about polls when it comes to deciding their own politics.
  8. ✠Today, High Heaven received an interesting communique from President Zack of Clan Mason of the Republic of Texas, House of Representatives member for the Guardians of Scotland: The first thought I had was that this is a rudeness and hostility one might expect in a once-Christian society abandoned by God and sapped of manly decency. As I am not a representative of the Global Communist Bloc, I can only speak for myself and my own nation, when I say this message was unwanted, unprovoked, and utterly off base. I am not going to leave an alliance because someone else wants me to leave, and I wouldn't expect anyone else to either. Food for thought, the words of Saint Paul the Apostle, Acts 20:30-35 I coveted no one's silver or gold or apparel. You yourselves know that these hands ministered to my necessities and to those who were with me. In all things I have shown you that by working hard in this way we must help the weak and remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he himself said, ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.’†— Supreme Pontiff, Comrade Christ, Jesus H.
  9. The KKK is definitely on the more familiar side, that's for sure.
  10. That's not what it says at all, you just hit CTRL+F and pretended that was reading.

  12. Someone forgot the Waco siege happened I guess
  13. Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.
  14. The Constitutional point is that the foundation of the Second Amendment is its entire purpose, securing the free state, not one clause of it, owning guns. News flash: The Constitution is the basis of the federal government.
  15. No, as in, you have an opinion... other people have proof. You talk a lot about ideas without proving anything true about them, or accomplishing anything decent with them. For example: "Your very ideology is parasitic and a product of envy" — this is a completely meaningless sentence. It just tells me you're a venemous person who likes to talk shit. God says, in every religion, to honor him by doing good works, which are the furthest things from your mind. You know what that is? Sad.
  16. You think you're better for having an opinion, which is one of the laziest ideas on earth.
  17. Not even ten words in and you've already contradicted yourself.
  18. In other words, you know nothing about Christianity.
  19. It's not that hilarious. It just sounds like you have a pretty petty and derivative sense of humor, based on feeling better than other people without having done anything to deserve it.
  20. I feel behind the times... what Discord is? How does it do radio? Can I get it in podcast form? (In any case, good luck with the station — nothing wrong with more community media)
