I am relatively new to PnW; I have some experience in other political-esque simulators. Nevertheless, I found myself unintentionally in a starring role, alongside the titular character, one King Leonidas of Sparta. Without further ado... Dramatis Personae Cerb - Grunt-level soldier of MENSA HQ Yui - Grunt-level soldier of MENSA HQ Resoula - Grunt-level soldier of MENSA HQ Vanek26 - Chairman of MENSA HQ King Leonidas - King of Sparta Dimitropoulos - Army General of Sparta Our story begins as Dimitropoulos brashly attacks Yui with the stated rationale of "inactive for 7 days pm for peace". The author of this tale cannot retroactively determine whether Yui was inactive, but clearly Yui is a member of MENSA HQ, a top 10 alliance, and has been such a member for some time. Dimitropoulos is swiftly counter-attacked by two members of MENSA HQ (Cerb and Resoula) and a member of Viridian Entente. Our bold young aggressor Dimitropoulos is not finished yet, and fires missiles and nukes as Cerb and Resoula suppress his attacking forces. Dimitripoulos quickly sees his error, and tries to offer peace after launching a nuclear attack. Cerb tosses such an offer aside, but rather than airstrike Dimitropoulos into the floor, Cerb lets him out after 6 ground strikes, taking a modest loot from the alliance bank (considering it's only an 8-man squad). DAY 2 begins before dawn, with an ANGRY message from King Leonidas, the leader of the 8-member Sparta alliance. He throws all good sense to the wind, and stumbles seemingly-drunkenly through the forest of IA, as seen below... As you all know, read from the bottom -> up. Enjoy. Amusing appendices: - I have been out of range above the Sparta alliance since the counter-attack. King Leonidas never bothered to check to see if I was in-range before threatening me with a "nuclear winter". - Also, I was beige the whole time he was making these threats. Remember in the beginning of the story, I was nuked. - Where does King Leonidas' pride in nukes come from? One of their top members has NO PLANES, ALMOST NO TANKS, but hell yea, he has 11 nukes and 19 ships!
