Dr Rush has a good point. During alliance wars, the alliance members all embargo enemy alliances. If this is tied to the embargoes, then there won't be any exposure to enemy propaganda.

Well let me make it a bit more clear. Pretty much nobody who donates redeems credits for the base rate of $1,000,000 (the exception being during war-time embargoes). They all either use the credits directly for the aesthetic items (VIP/flags/pips/ads) or they sell them on the market. Very few people are going to be making ads if it's just going to result in dozens if not hundreds of people embargoing them (along with all the annoying notifications). Credit demand will drop on the market (I alone probably buy 1/5 to 1/4 of all market credits every month). Donations for credits will follow with the decline in credit prices/demand. Sheepy will make less money. The existing VIP feature will be mostly pointless.

And that seems reasonable. Make it a part of the VIP package. I mean, really, this can also be done without buying VIP. There are browser add-ons that will disable image urls from ever loading again if you right click on the image and select that option from the drop down menu.

Sure, but that doesn't mean there aren't other reasons why this isn't the best idea.

Which would also make sense if destroying a barracks first set the soldier count to 0 and then 314 was further deducted from the soldier count.

Happened again. Went from 10,194 soldiers to 9,689: The math adds up. That 488 soldiers was deducted from my army, not his (which was already at 0 after the 277 kills).

Happened again. Lost 1000 soldiers.

I'm fighting inactives. They are not attacking me. This is entirely due to my attacking them.

This has happened twice now. I'll perform an attack with perhaps 500 defending soldiers and kill most if not all of them in battle. I'll also destroy the barracks and "500 soldiers inside." Then I'll go look at my nation and suddenly I've lost around 500 soldiers--not from the attack itself but presumably from a bug.
