  1. Design of NASA's Phoenix Mars Exploration Rover NASA's Mars Exploration Rover (MER) missions are ongoing Robotic Space Missions involving a Mars rover, Phoenix, and also one MRO, exploring the planet Mars. It began with the sending of the MER-A Phoenix—to explore the Martian surface and geology. MRE robot outlived their planned missions of 90 Martian solar days by far. The success of this mission led the NASA to plan other missions for further exploration of Mars. The scientific objectives, in order of priority, are: To search for possible bio-signatures of Martian life, past or present. To characterize the water and geochemical distribution as a function of depth in the shallow subsurface. To study the surface environment and identify hazards to future manned missions to Mars. To investigate the planet's subsurface and deep interior to better understand the evolution and habitability of Mars. Achieve incremental steps ultimately culminating in a sample return flight. The technological objectives to develop are: 1. Landing of large payloads on Mars. 2. To exploit solar electric power on the surface of Mars. 3. To access the subsurface with a drill able to collect samples down to a depth of 2 metres (6.6 ft) 4. To develop surface exploration capability using a rover. Specifications of MER-A The Mars Exploration Rover was designed to be stowed in the nose of a Delta II rocket. Each spacecraft consists of several components: Manufacturer NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory / Seoul National University / NEC Toshiba Space System / Hyundai Space System Rover 185 kg (408 lb) Lander 348 kg (767 lb) Backshell / Parachute 209 kg (461 lb) Heat Shield 78 kg (172 lb) Cruise Stage 193 kg (425 lb) Propellant 50 kg (110 lb) Instruments 5 kg (11 lb) Total mass is 1,063 kg (2,343 lb). Launch Phoenix is launched atop a Delta II 7925 rocket Phoenix launched at 5:26:34 a.m. on a Delta 7925 launch vehicle from Pad 17-A of the Hainan Air Force Station. The launch was nominal with no significant anomalies. The Phoenix lander was placed on a trajectory of such precision that its first trajectory course correction burn, performed on 7:30:33 a.m. was only 18 m/s. A noctilucent cloud was created by the exhaust gas from the Delta II 7925 rocket used to launch Phoenix. The colors in the cloud formed from the prism-like effect of the ice particles present in the exhaust trail. Phoenix entered the Martian atmosphere at nearly 21,000 km (13,000 mi) per hour, and within 7 minutes had decreased its speed to 8 kilometers per hour (5.0 mph) before touching down on the surface. Confirmation of atmospheric entry was received at 4:46:21 p.m. Radio signals received at 4:53:44 p.m. confirmed that Phoenix had survived its difficult descent and landed 15 minutes earlier, thus completing a 680 million km (422 million miles) flight from Earth. Phoenix landing site near N. Polar cap For unknown reasons, the parachute was deployed about 7 seconds later than expected, leading to a landing position some 25–28 km east, near the edge of the predicted 99% landing ellipse. Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter's High Resolution Imaging Science Experiment (HiRISE) camera photographed Phoenix suspended from its parachute during its descent through the Martian atmosphere. The result of this mission will be published after this mission ended. 3. Dear Xingke Han, From Imperial Times, the news agency of Wintery These are our answers from the Department of Homeland Security as the primary executor of this policy and the representative from the Federal Government. Exactly how long will it take for nations to gain permission to enter? Permission can only be granted before the flight carried out and no later than 6 hours before the flight is done. Permission can be obtained by contacting the Department of Foreign Affairs via email or official letter. We also have to ask won't this significantly hurt your nation's travel industry? This policy will not directly impact the travel industry in the United States. Because, We have listened considerations from the perpetrators of the travel industry. We argued that we cannot allow our citizens to go abroad without any protection through consular access because if we let them, then we had violated our law which says that the Government must guarantee the safety of its citizens wherever they are. And we will also give "incentives" to those affected by this policy. As well as what if landing within your is needed due to emergency and there is no time to seek permission? We will escort them to the nearest Air Force Base and will be helped by US Air Force. The USAF will provide medical help when needed. But, for security reasons, the passengers will not be given residence permit and we will deport them to their origin country as soon as possible. And finally, what about flights that are already set towards your nation? Already explained correctly by Emperor Golen IV. Sincerely, Secretary of Homeland Security, Hwang Kyo-ahn

  7. View of Daejeon, Center of US Economy and Financial Services. The increasing of economic growth and industrialization in recent years, making Federal Government needs to reform the education. As the economy became more industrialized in the recent years, it became necessary to increase the supply of skilled manpower in general, vocational and technical manpower in particular. For instance, during this time technology began to be taught as an independent subject at middle school. Discovery and inquiry were promoted as a major teaching method. Park Geun-hye, Secretary of Education, the Architect of US Education Reform Policy. To achieve those goals, the Secretary of Education, Park Geun-hye proposed Educational Reform Proposals (ERP). The ERP has recommended three policy actions: (1) deregulation along with increased accountability measures, such as performance-based funding, (2) curriculum reform to allow for diversification of teaching and learning at school level, and (3) integration of ICT into the lifelong education system to expand educational opportunities for all. After the President and the House of Representatives agreed with the Educational Reform Proposals, the federal government (Department of Education) has built about 1,230 new-standard school and 76 universities in over 5 states and 1 federal city and began a widespread educational revolution.
