  1. Aluminium cause it's native and has a decent profit margin, and the same for gas. But the main reason I make gas is cause I maxed aluminium production.
  2. Hmmmmmm.... From Sheepy's list I'd go with the entire Commerce tree to get to that commerce boost IF it allowed me to get to 110% commerce. Then I'd grab all of Development for extra growth, and that last slot. Having that extra slot would give me 6 more improvement slots across my cities, which would allow me to improve my military without impacting commerce or resource production.

Could be complex to implement, but it would be great if we could set tax brackets based upon a nation's profit, and it would be even better if it didn't treat the income as a whole. e.g. 0% tax until $x, 7.5% tax on every dollar over x until y, 15% tax on every dollar over y until z, etc. But that could just be overcomplicating the coding.
  4. Eucalyptus is pretty good. The leaves burn like crazy cause of the oils. Also Huon Pine cause it lives for like 10,000 years, and then we cut it down because it's rather good for boats.

  8. "A Train Station, Costs $75,000, 50 Steel and 30 Coal. This Adds 20% commerce to your city and adds 5 points to your pollution index. " This is less expensive than a stadium and does more. Why would we consider stadiums when this is available? Upkeep costs? Consumes resources? I fail to see the point of any of these. We don't need more improvements just for the sake of having more improvements.
  9. I dislike the 50% minimum autonomy that applies to former colonies, but doesn't apply to colonial nations. It's hard enough to play Aztec, and it got harder by adding more nations in Mesoamerica, and then this. It's a euro-centric fix that ruined basically all native-american nations
  10. It also depends on how much infra you have in that city. Supermarkets are barely worth getting, the bonus from 1 bank only outweighs the upkeep at like, 500 infra, and don't even bother with stadiums before 700. So go for resources below 500, a mix between 500-700, and then maximum commerce + however many slots you have left for resources.
