  1. @Keegoz @Lysander @His Holy Decagon I think you 3 deserve a lot of praise for trying to lobby for positive changes to happen to the game. But I fear that despite the work you put in as long as Alex treats the game as a money-printing machine and consistently fails to put any effort into improving the game, then nothing will change for the better.

I've long since given up any hope of meaningful updates happening to the game, but I hope people can put enough pressure on Alex that he'll start taking things seriously.... However unlikely this this.

The idea is cool and I like it, but some of these perks are just not very good.

    1. Nations can construct an additional nuke each day for every 100 nuclear power plants they have

Although this would be OP, barely anyone has 100 npps. That's 2 npps in 50 cities.

    You mean you don't have 106 NPP's?

Good god almighty alliances still are allowing democracies? Good on you UPN, I learned from my days in NADC that I shall now allow any alliance I am in to do that shit ever again....but hey good on you! Gratz to all elected!

I can't believe you're contradicting yourself here Zygon... After all you told the senate you love democracy. Was this a lie?

The spirit of GRRM definitely is in your heart. I profusely enjoyed reading this and did not expect to see guest right be violated and you to be attacked with a fork lol.

Hopefully House Stark is able get everything resolved. Rome wishes you well in your fight. This was a very well written DoW.

If the spirit of GRRM was in Ataxia's heart, then he never would've finished writing this DOW post.

I've run some numbers on the RPC and the effects it will have on total amount of raws in the game. Currently there are 1430 people that are not in vm, have been active in the last week and are 15 cities or less. This below is the production for each raw based on continent and city count, the disparity between the production of each raw being the result of an uneven distribution of people picking continents.

     image.png.070ba85f6e4ea167fb71bce4e2b94ab8.png

This shows the total average production and the percent of the surplus RPC represents during the day following the update to RPC. This does not account for buying projects or nations deleting, just a general picture into how much of each resource is introduced into the game

    image.png.b06778b2a307869e3caac9b2a6d12474.png

Overall this would be a good change, as money has real sinks, that being cities. While without little exception all raws consistently grow in amount with no end and devaluing the price of raws which no one is using or needing as indicative by the prices the time following the implementation of RPC. Money on the other hand during the same period of time lost in amount by 10 billion a day, obviously being much more sinkable that any of the raws.

On an off tangent though, while this change will be beneficial for raws, there will continue to be continue oversupply of raws in the game. Since 3/1/2022, when RPC was introduced as an example, they was 2.5k coal per nation currently there is 13.9k per person. This will need to be remedied otherwise there will be far reaching consequences into other resources and ways to produce, with raws being worth considerably less in the past you'll see builds moving towards manus and commerce, manus will fall in value over time, not only because there isn't a large amount used but because switching from building some raws and manus to just making manus will be more profitable. It's a slow death of over abundance and the lessening of consequences of war as warring does not seem to ever reduce the massive warchests of every large alliance.

    A+ post

I've personally wanted to see the cost of war increased. I think the change for tanks from 1 steel down to 0.5 was a mistake. Should be reverted and other changes made to reduce the glut of resources in the game currently.

Lmfaooooo to yours, people deleting their PnW account don't die like we are in the matrix? You can still contact them via discord, CN or NS?? What rabbit hold did I get myself in?

Yeah I need to jump in here.

@Adrienne what Adrienne said I agree with as she does a good job of summing up the void that NPOLT's end did for the game. IQ departure still hasn't fully been replaced, and the game's FA meta is still influenced by the actions of parties in that conflict and will continue to influence things as long as people who were around in NPOLT continue to hold power in alliances. NPOLT will remain as an FA talking point until a new generation completely replaces those who were around back then.

What a lot of newer players don't seem to understand is that the current geopolitical meta is still influenced by the actions of parties in NPOLT, more so than other past global wars. Similar to how after WW2, the allies set about creating a new geopolitical order. Which lasts to this day (Current German borders, existence of North/South Korea, Sakhalin).

That said, I do think some people do rely on this war a bit too much for justification for why certain FA actions are good or bad, or why their alliance thinks in a particular way. However this goes back to the first point how most of these alliances still have the same people who were in leadership back during NPOLT either still as leaders or in high gov/advisor positions so their influence is still strongly felt.

And I do agree that some alliances have this fear of being labelled as "IQ like" when they try to push terms beyond a simple white peace or force a NAP. That I disagree with and think is bad for the game, but again this is a problem that time will fix as new people enter gov.

Lastly, I feel you missed the point Nizam made when she mentioned how people are gone because of the war. Yes they obviously aren't dead because of NPOLT. But what she's referring to is many people deleted their Discord accounts or other platforms and left online browser gaming entirely since PnW was the only one they played and NPOLT made them sick of the genre of games. For many of these people, those who remain have no way of contacting them. I fought on both sides of the conflict, so I got to see the attrition impact communities on both sides of the divide. There were people whom I was friends with who deleted who I chatted to for years but after NPOLT, nobody ever heard from them again.

Also.. the only alliance I'm 100% happy they're gone from the game is GOONS.

EDIT: Added context, expanded and refined points and clarifyed things for some people.

Pre has been replaced with ChatGPT.

Yes. This is a project meant to help new players.

    Alex hath spoken.

About time Pre starting making sense.. speaking of which Pre-bot can you apologise for raiding me in 2016? ;v

Also, in that case I think the project should be renamed. Treasure Department should be reserved for IMO a more substantial econ project.

Made some updates to the OP.

    1. The multiple payment options for city discount projects have been removed.
    2. As the RPC project is largely causing the raw resource imbalance, the project will be switching to something that provides new players additional money rather than resources.

Who are you and what did you do with Pre? Some nice changes.

Will the project still be locked to those under 15 cities?

I know this is almost certainly bait for me, but I hope you actually do realize that the "sale" of the alliance was a series of badly-faked screenshots made by Tiberius&friends because they were salty that I was disbanding the AA after half of gov left due to his behavior.

Even if you're just being lazy on fact checking, my nation still lacks a moon landing to this day, but I might just buy one for lulz at this point.

Anyways I love this thread, please continue on-topic.

Bruh... you sold your alliance to TKR for 3 cities and the moon landing, and they never even gave you the moon landing?

Look, we have a Carthage themed alliance, thus we must also have a Roman themed one in order to maintain the balance of the universe

Yeah but unfortunately every single Roman themed alliance has been terrible. I just one day want to see one which isn't complete AIDS.

Since when is "Hostility by Tiberius toward others" a CB?  I mean, there would be constant war if everyone who experienced Hostility from him declared war...damn people

I mean according to Tiberius, almost anyone can be a "traitor to Rome", his requirements are low for that position

You must be new here.. We don't need CB's anymore to launch wars.

Also... Tiberius hasn't Rome been through enough? We've already had several dogsh1t Roman themed alliances. Do the honourable thing like RnR and disband.
