  1. Stop making it complicated.   KISS!

If you want to make a change remove the plane underdog damage.  It's ridiculous that the underdog can kill more planes even when they loose.  If you want this in, set it so it only happens 5-10% of the time.

  2. I don't see why new people need more money.  The idea is to encourage them to join an alliance.

As to raiding, that's what we need to bring back.  Many of the changes in the last few years have been aimed at stopping raiding.  This is a mistake.   Raiders add spice to the game and keep the pixel huggers on their toes.  I've  helped a few new people in this way.  Even if they don't become long term raiders they no long are afraid of getting their pixel singed.

  3. Don't care about the noise in here but I will add add a little of my own.  Your a bunch of wankers that keep bringing knives to gun fights.  So now that we offer an olive branch by downsizing we get this. I honestly couldn't think of a better way to express how tiny you are, congrats!

I rarely spend time here so if you have a different opinion dm me.

Hurry up and burn me pixels already.  I've rebuilt, built another city  and almost have enough cash to rebuild again, since our last dust up.  If you take the usual amount of time I'll find a way to make enough to build another city before your done.  If you really want to compete with us stop taxing your whales or let the best of them join us, your choice.

Have a grande day and enjoy your long weekend,

  4. Whales have put in the time and effort to get where they are.  It has already been way easier to climb up than ever before.  Which is a bit disrespectful to those that paved the way.  I understand that quicker growth is needed to some degree to inspire newer players.  What I am hearing here is, I don't want to have to put in the effort to build my nation but make the game easier for me to roll over bigger nations.

The reality is, if you want to, the game mechanics make it quite possible to pull whales down.  I helped pull Grumpy down way back when.  It was harder then it should have been because our worst enemy was our own allies taking up slots to nuke turret instead making sure the slots where filled by people that could smash armies

On the flip side I've been with Grumpy and we fought off 2.5 to 1 odds because of our ability to work together.  Yes the other side had more than equal whales.

I would propose that what you need is not more skewed game mechanics but a willingness to change how your tackling what you see as a problem. Whether it's exercising better military cooperation or making sure your nation's are pumping out the ching-ching (half baked builds that I see quite often, have to be one of the largest causes of stunted growth.)

Actually working with like minded people is a great way to reach a goal.  If you can't find the people or your ideas aren't gaining ground recheck your paradigms, change and keep moving forward. It  takes time and commitment and the end result will have more value then having everything handed to you.

Aside from making it cheaper to build cities under say, c30.   I don't know what would be a legitimate solution.   Whales tend to be long term players that have been here since the beginning and the game is built in a way that time is what enables you to reach the high-end of the city spectrum.

Unless cities become cheaper there is no way to catch up to people who have a 3/4 year head-start when it comes to nation building.

It is possible to catch up.  I believe I have passed many people the started a year or more before me.  Just the fact that you can get to 30c in under 2 yrs is ridiculous.

As to downdeclaring, suck it up just like I did.  If you have the numbers you can turn it round, if you fight right.  If you don't have the numbers you loose.  Been there, done that and racked my stats.

  6. As was stated earlier it is easier to go from 0 to 20 cities than ever before.  I spent years accomplishing that alone.  Now you have some people hitting city 30 in less than 2 yrs.

I've watched project after project aimed at helping little people while long term players are lucky get an odd bone thrown their way.  And you feel it's too much?

Instead of whinying about it change how you're playing the game.  I've been into food production since before city 5.  It makes the most money and unlike infra you can't loose land.  There are many other tips to max your income regardless of your nation size.

Conclusion: If you want to be whale stop sitting on your butt and whinying about it and start setting up your nation to grow. It takes time and good decisions. Sometimes crap happens and you have to clean yourself off but you keep going.

If you don't want to be a whale don't complain when you find one sitting in your pond.

Someone loan my three billion so I can get to 30 cities. Maybe then I'll join Grumpy.

I have found that those that don't earn the money don't stay.  'Earn' is a very flexible term in this case.  Most of my cities below 25 were granted to me by people that didn't know that it takes strength and diligence to hold on to yer pixels.

I'm not so bad to deal with.  Unless you look like a good raid.  Even then I'm always polite as I lighten your load.

Frankly this is among the most pathetic examples of childish behavior I have ever seen. Whoever is responsible for this act must be held accountable and permanently so.

IF this is true and someone has hacked Leo's account and did this shame on you, This community do not need anymore toxic levels, I hope whoever did this is removed from the game for life.

However I believe this is Leo's own doing, BK has no funds, not capable of rebuilding and therefore ordered people to leave, that would explain why it has taken a while for people to leave, if someone hacked the account then this would have happened a lot quicker.

The truth will come out, and Leo has done this sort of thing before from what I have been told and understand.

So if it is Leo?  Looking to shore up a flagging alliance?  Hmm....
