The state which refers to itself as being a 'People's Republic' unsurprisingly displays many Communist ideals and pushes for policies of similar nature. As of right now, it is also strongly supportive of its military and highly militarized police forced, which is commonly used in combating small riots and attacks caused by groups that are 'dissatisfied' by the lack of political freedoms given. These groups have not yet been able to garner much support by the local populace, which are rather nationalistic. Much of this same population also worships the states-sponsored religion of the Great Old Ones, something that has been claimed as being the main reason for the people's strong distrust in foreigners and sometimes outright xenophobia something that influenced its motto; 'Victory through union.' This has surprisingly not discouraged tourists which come to see the yearly military parades; the statues of their deities and noticeable participants of the Revolution; and the Communist Mural displayed in front of the National Assembly.
