2/5/2020 - Major Announcement Regarding Enforcement of Game Rules
Tiberius replied to Alex's topic in Announcements & Updates
So are we going to see evidence of the supposed illegal scanlations? -
huh seems like this is the end huh?

Good luck and hopefully see you when your grades improve! -
This is exactly where game improvements/updates should come. The part of the game where all you do is log in daily and do nothing else. Making peace time more immersive. Realistically the only things to take up time in peace time is playing baseball or trading on the market. Everything else is done offsite. Content creation shouldn't solely be an alliance's responsibility.

@Alex : Pinging you here so you are aware of this thread. Any input is welcome, such as ideas you are working on that is relevant to the thread.

Approximately 1 in 30 new players stay and play the game after registering. With the vast majority of new projects/suggestions focused more on the long time players, I wanted to see if we could brainstorm ideas/suggestions on how we can improve the retention rate of new players. If you have an idea/suggestion post below and I'll add it to the OP as a bullet point. We can then look into the idea/suggestion further and develop it into a game suggestion. Share alliance guides | FAQ | Common Knowledge Allow players to add more Roleplay content to their Nations: Factbooks, dispatches, articles. Integrate offsite communities into on site communities. In-built forums, live chat, newsletters etc. Admin to increase marketing/advertisement of the game Better advertisement of current RP mechancis, such as the factbook, forums RP'ing Informative article on IC/OOC seperation. Good behaviour/bad behaviour, better enforcement on IC/OOC areas on the forums. More game content, more things for players to do. Themed game events as an idea, NS has Z-Day etc. Look at mechanics and events that need global co-ordination and teamwork. Improve the mobile app, mobile gaming is huge and we should absolutely target this as a way to grow the game. Add new resources, new improvements etc Improve the information available to players (Formulas, best building practices) less guessing. Players should not have to join alliances to learn how to play the game efficiently. Bonuses for joining alliances, encourage people to get involved in the wider community. Increase game dev staff to get more updates

Yeah, I am getting the same right now too. I'll speak to Frawley or LoD when they are online and see what's up and let you know.
-
Iirc the stats update around 15mins past the hour for around 10mins or so.

Goons made me eat tide, or was that the internet culture. Sounds good though.

Easier to accuse and be lazy though....

Time will tell Elijah Mikaelson. The question is can you outrun Usain Bolt to Vacation Mode post war?
-
You still have Elijah Mikaelson as your Leader Name. I think that answers your own question. Furthermore this player also refers to Opus Dei as Oversized !@#$s. Is that by his own standards class as an OOC attack?

A complete re-do of projects would be interesting. Military branch, Espionage Branch, Commerce Branch. You can only choose one. Then x amount of projects under each one. Alliances would then need to build Spy Nations, Banker Nations and Soldier Nations.

Post here about how much you enjoy the current war/state of events

Please point to the bias I have interjected into this thread? The only mention of NPO in this thread is by you. Grow up and keep IC politics to the relevant sub forums.
-
I mean my point was it would be better as a percentage rather than a solid cap. No, the balance regards to large alliance membership is everyone is free to recruit new people, even encouraged to do so to help grow the game. It would be unbalancing if only a select few alliances were allowed to recruit players. Smaller alliances in most cases either A. Purposely stay small or B. Suck at recruitment (for a myriad of reasons).

This is not a war declaration .. or is it??
Tiberius replied to Dilly Dilly's topic in Alliance Affairs
The alternative was signing with a majority of fascist losers. Not a difficult choice. -
Can we stick to the topic. CN and your own P&W political bias has no bearing on this suggestion.

RIP Goons. -
So we go the 20 Nation cap route. Alliances split at war time to groups of 20, now everyone has the buff. Nothing is improved. The larger alliance if anything gets an advantage because they are able to beige cycle.

The mistake you make is thinking & is a word and not a symbol. Fool. -
It has been a big precedent that the mechanics of the game should allow players who are the underdog/outnumbered etc can fight back in wars. Things such as beige and baseball allow this to happen.
-
Okay seeing as the post you quoted was somehow invisible to you. I'll give an example: Meerkat Empire has 120 Nations. They are planning to go to war with Lion Kingdom who has 20 Nations. Meerkat Empire splits into 6 alliances of 20 Nations so that all 120 Nations will get the bonus.

In my opinion if we are going to cap the number of players that can be given it then it needs to be a percentage and not a hard figure. With a 20 player cap I am already envisioning larger alliances splitting into 20man AAs for war and at that point it makes the cap meaningless.
