--Lord Aretons Stance on the Britannian-Republic War--
________________________________________________________
"I'm sure that you all know of the current conflict between our ally, The Federal Republic, and the Brittanian Empire. The conflict arose when two Britannian transport planes were shot down by The Republic. As far as I know, there were no talks between the two nations, instead, Britannia hastily declared war on The Republic. After this declaration, the GMR and Chernigov declared war as well.
I have heard that Dean Monroe of The Republic has called for peaceful negotiations and both parties have agreed to attend. As for us, the Small Council and I have decided that we will not be entering this conflict until the peace negotiations have failed. If the peace talks are not successful, Chashul will most definitely enter the war alongside our ally, The Federal Republic. Thank you."
This was a statement released by Lord Paramount Areton earlier this evening. It seems that Lord Areton is hoping that the peace talks will end this war and improve relations between The Republic and The Holy Britannian Empire. He has also made it clear that if these talks do not go as planned, we will be entering this war. We will now be moving onto our next story, stay tuned.

--State of the Chassie Military--

We spoke to Lord Maelor Chashul, the commander of the Chassie Forces, about the current state of our military.
Reporter: Hello Lord Maelor, it's good to have you on our show.
Lord Maelor: No problem, it's always a pleasure.
Reporter: Let's get started then.-- As you probably know, we might be dragged into this war.
Lord Maelor: Yes, I am aware of our chances of entering the war.
Reporter: I'm sure many of us would like an update on the state of our military.
Lord Maelor: Of course.
Lord Maelor: We currently have over 200 thousand military personnel. Approximately 100K in the army, also just to be clear, we are counting reserves"
Reporter: That's fine.
Lord Maelor: We have about 75K in our naval forces, not to mention that we have 50 ships. Also, 15K personnel are operating within the Chassie Royal Airforce, we have a total of 55 aircraft. Before you ask, yes, there will be drafts if the war drags on for longer than expected."
Reporter: Do we have enough resources to actually get involved in any sort of conflicts?
Lord Maelor: Yes.
Reporter: Oh. I was hoping for a more detailed explanation.
Lord Maelor: You asked if we had enough resources, and I answered, nothing more detailed is needed.
Reporter: Well, thanks for your time Lord Maelor, I'm sure you have more important businesses to attend to.
Lord Maelor: I'm sorry, are you being sarcastic?
Reporter: Onto the next segment!

--Expansion into Ohio--
________________________________________________________
Last week, the Chassie Forces moved into a region that is called "Ohio". Ser Jeor Duskenfell, the master of arms of the Small Council stated that the reason for this action was in order to secure four regions for our expansion. The reason for this land grab, he said, is to "mine the hell out of the coal mines". Ohio is known for its natural gas and coal, not to mention the natural beauty. Ten thousand citizens have been moved into a city which has been named Stormfell. There has been little to no resistance, as most of the natives were moved into small reservations.
