Aurora had always dreamed of going to Florida Their bedroom walls were covered with posters of palm trees, beaches, and theme parks. They talked about it every day, telling us about all the exciting things they wanted to do there. However, we Midgardians, have always lived in a small treehouse, and money was always tight, especially when Aurora's frequent meltdowns trashed the living room draining our accounts time and again. We could never afford to go on vacations, let alone to Florida. But we knew how much this meant to Aurora, so we decided to do everything we could to make their dream come true and change the locks while they were gone. We started saving every penny we could find, cutting back on expenses and working odd jobs under the table. We sold some of our belongings, skipped meals. It was a tough time for us Midgardians, doing all this extra work while Aurora sat on the couch yelling at everyone to work harder as they ate a bag of puffed cheetos taking no notice as we all grew skinnier and wore the same clothes more often. Not Aurora though, nothing changed for them or their motley crew couch surfing friends. Finally, after months of hard work and sacrifice, we were able to scrape together enough money to buy one ticket to Florida!!! On Frontier! We even managed to get them a cheap taxi to the airport and a personal chauffer to carry them and their couch surfing friends out of the house quickly.
