  2. Welp. Don't know about others. But I was told I get to yell people and war. They got me with that. I'm a simple man liking simple things like wars.
  3. o7 Congrats Cerebrus. RIP Elysium. @Verin Don't worry I like your booty. Expect another visit from me
  4. I'll pest you hostily, I will!
  5. What about me? I demand to be recognized hostile! Very hostile!
  6. I feel you man. Did it twice already. If I wasn't elsewhere doing other stuff, but back at Arrgh, I'd delete my nation right away.
  7. Not really. You need all your 5 slots filled. In my experience 1/5 raid targets is profitable, rest are shit. Raiding is before all else, a gamble, a sustainable, but a gamble non the less. And who in their right mind would limit himself to 2/5 of his raiding potenital to avoid a potential 1/3 of damage? So again this only helps whales, and affects pirates in a way that doesn't change much for them (except for decreased loot in general) and having more people with less hitting targets other than pirates.
  8. Will become? And you don't see the problem in that? At all? @Insert Name Here Farmville it is.
  9. It's not quantity, it's quality that matter. In 1 loot we got to cover all of your loots + damages you caused. Meanwhile that same 1 loot casused you more damage than all of your loots on Arrgh combined could hope to cover. And then we have 6 more loots, plus additional damages/ ground attack money steals. And that is not counting our other wars, since as Ogaden remarked in the other thread, we weren't nearly as interested in you guys as you were in us. We have other people to raid. In the end; You're in the wrong alliance for that. Clearly TKR is the one to be looted, while Arrgh is the one doing most looting around. Joind the dark side (srly, nation colour is black, unlike that semibeige TKR has)

  11. Pfff, HBE was more sure that they'll erradicate and outlive us all pirates. Look where they are now tough. You don't know where Cerebrus will be in half a year or even a year later. But I can tell you with 100% certanty where Arrgh will be. Where it always was since it's funding days.
  12. Well, we did agree to peace, mostly so we could adjust our builds for a year long raid on their whole sphere. But yeah it's gonna end just like in Britannian Radiant Crusade. They'll withdraw after a week, leaving their allys alone against us, and their allys will eventually crumble and fall appart, making us winners by deafult, just like there, where both Final Emire and HBE simply ceased to exist.
  13. Meh, we've had worse, check the "Paperss please" for instance. And "Purple Spy War". We've used to it. Being the "bad guys" gets you that attention. Also makes for top quality shitposting while attacking the attackers's morale, ego, pride and anything to do with selfesteem
  14. Weird. I remember rolling Polaris before that. They had a loudmouth who was brave enough to come to Arrgh server and diss pirates. Luckily for him he was way below my war range. Unluckily for him Polaris govermen't wasn't. I don't think blitz even started properly when Polaris surrendered and accepted my terms to beat the shit out of that guy. Then some 3 months passed, and I heard SK was organizing some sort of joint action against Arrgh. So I persuaded 3 participants it was against their interest to go agaisnt us while rolling SK. And all of that after another big mass raid we barely recovered from. Then Polaris, for reasons unkown to me, tought that attacking Arrgh while we were preempting an all out assault against us would not be met by our most trusted allys. I mean even if we weren't having joint actiosn beforehand, you'd surely realize how it looks when a block attacks a single alliance? Right? Isin't it common sense for those paperless alliances, to drop whatever disagreements they have and unite against bigger oppponents? I had good allys in both RW and TEst, but they were hardly the only ones willing tho help us out. But unlike some people, I can exercise restraint, and prevent massive gangbangs against undeserving opponents. But I digress, fond memorys of past get me talking easily. Yes game is stale, and this is not making it any better. After almost a year of not doing anything worthwhile, you do something completely irrelevant and blow it out of proportions, so you feel you've acomplished something, when in reality you haven't acomplished anything, and then you fortify and brace yourself, for another year of doing nothing?
  15. Meh. So you avoid falling into old habbits, by falling into old habbits? Great. If I had to name an alliance that attempted to change the game and make it a bit interesting, well let's say alliances like Sparta or Hogwarts come to my mind. They simply found a worthy opponent that they had a realistic chance to beat, calulated the risks and potential chaining. And went with it. So, completley opposite of what you are doing yet again here. If only more alliances followed their example. And I see a couple alliances fighting the good fight, and following that example, such as IOM and AO. They, just like us, are single alliances, with realtively to absolutely no paper ties to major backers, fighting entire spheres. It reminds me of good old days when game was much simpler and almost fun to play. Too bad you guys killed it. Too bad Sheepy went with your whinning and made this game into such stale boring thing it is today, that attacking a pretty much zero'd out alliance by 4 alliance is called "progressive" "dynamic" and "interesting develpoment".
  16. I've hit that limit 20 comments prior to the one you wanted to like Perosnal note: Reached like limit (again) at page 6. Will return to dish out lieks again.
  17. So we're being hit for doing what you guys always wanted to do but were to busy and consticted by all your paper? I've seen you're raiders, and they are laugable at best, and those who were any good ended up on our side eventually. But bring it, a pirate is safest and most satisfied when all his def slots are full. And as a sing of acknowleding your 3rd SOPA, or is it the 4th? 5th? Either way, as acknowledgment of yet another SOPA attempt, we'll,... just continue doing what we were doing thus far pretty much unhindered? Yup. Also, even tough I'm a bit busy IRL and was in VM for almost 2 weeks now, I wish my fellow captians a good raid and plently of loot! Arrgh!
  18. @Alexif you plan to nerf all of that just to add bountys, maybe better to just drop bountys, no? How about we leave fortify as it is, except do increase the opponent's casualitys. Want to split wars to be different types? Good. The ordinary as is the war now. The attrition one gives up on half the loot to get more damage done and the raid does the opposite. But do we really need it? We already got War Policys for this? Bountys? Alright. Add them. So what if people can't beige someone on their first go? Bounty still remains, and others will try to claim it. No matter how much one resists he'll end up loosing more than all the bountys on him are worth, and at some point he'll get both blockaded and billocked, so if he still wishes to avoid being beiged at that point he'll have to start sacrifising improvments to do it too. And then what does he have? At best, people avoiding beige would do if for couple of weeks, maybe months at best, but trust me, noone has enough motivation to keep going with it just to spite everyone.
  19. I mean, he can talk to me too I guess? I do tend to be more blunt and aggressive tough.
  20. He knows where to find us. I'd advise talking to Ripper, for he is the most rational and objective one among us.
  21. So in short, what @Hafestushere is arguing is not that there is game mehanic that trough explotation makes an impossible scenarion for one side (in this case, the stronger side wich already has an advantage) but that he doesn't understand game mehanics and/or is not creative enough to achive what he wants withing the limitations of the said game mehanics, so he wants the game mehanics to be change into his favour so he doesn't need to learn to play the game to be the best. So my suggestion to his dillema is, how about no?
  22. Not true. If you fail to beige them first time, try again, and again. At one point his infa level would be so low that he won't be able to upkeep his improvments, let alone any sort of army. There is also the option to airstike money to speed up the process. Once you're both blockaded and billocked, you can't use your MAPs to fortify or otherwise. Ofc, it's not impossible to get out of that situation either, but at what cost? Destroying all of your improvments, that you worked so hard to build. And what then, when you're stuck with permanent blockade, and a powerplant a barrack per city? What hopes of profit do you have? Not to mention once you're done with it you'd have to rebuild to insane amounts of infra like 1500 or even 2000 to rebuild all your improvments. Resisting the beige to that degree certantly isn't profitable to anyone and I can't imagine anyone doing it out of any other reason than out of spite. And even then he'll get tired and bored of it and give up eventually.
  23. And? It just means there will be another wave of bounty hunters, and then another, and people will keep adding more bountys on you. So end result is you get constant time of being hit, unability to rebuild, trade, bank, or even fight back for that matter. Mate not even I would want that for more than few weeks. I'd let them beige me at some point.
