    Foxburo attacks Bacontopia and Transalpina Valacia
     
    Foxburo has declared war on Bacon and TV today[1][2]. This in a recent effort to help fight obesity, as well as help recover some disputed dosh and territory from the enemies of freedom loving pirates everywhere. President Fox Fire has declared that Bacontopia will be pushed back from Arrgh territory and all of it's remaining dosh and swine meat seized.
    Minister of defense Kalakov had this to say in a pres conference earlier today:
     
     
    Bacon and TV have been notorious for making people fat and stupid for decades, however the government claims they are showing a slightly defiant attitude, claiming to have done nothing wrong yet seemingly refusing to accept simple peace terms and expressing deep hatred of the homosexual citizens of Arrgh. However the government assures everyone that relieving these nations of dosh will solve the crisis and everyone will be safe once more.

    Nepria Recaptured
     
    After months of hard work, rebuilding, reorganizing, enduring chaos, martial law and a volcanic apocalypse, the last of Foxburos great cities, Nepria, has finally fallen back into undeniable Vulpes influence. The city was immediately renovated with a new shopping district and new housing to accommodate newly arriving citizens, as well as those who had previously been surviving in the ruins. This, Dec 2, marks the return of Foxburo to it's former glory and has been declared a national holiday by President Fox Fire, deemed "Reunification Day".
    The city has already been outfitted with several military installations and even a stadium where the Foxes played their first game in forever, and actually won with the most underfunded players a nation could possibly ask for. Rebuilding is still in progress and although the nation has not completely recovered from the disaster of Mt. Aen, it is once again thriving.
     
    Jihadis Crushed
     
    The Jihadist attacks on Detrathe and Kalakovgrad by Arabia have concluded in the utter devastation of the nation of Arabia. Although Arabia has since recovered, it is estimated that the cost of the war and resulting destruction was completely one sided. Arabia, as always has been, is considered a rogue state, not recognized by the Foxburo government which maintains the tightest sanctions on their leaders. President Fox Fire addressed the nation in a statement upon the final victory over Arabia:
     
    Elsewhere, the Foxburo military has conducted several operations in defense of Arrgh and will continue doing so, as well as releaving dosh from greedy national dictators who are feared to have too much and not equally distributing.

    Jihad - Khevin Embargo

    Arabia Attacks Foxburo
     
    Today, the peaceful morning silence was broken as the sound of explosions and screeching jet engines ring out in the city of Detrathe in the early hours as people are just getting to work. In the name of a pointless Jihad, the nation of Arabia has just attacked Foxburo with overwhelming air power. Similar attacks also took place in the city of Kalakovgrad. The death toll is still unclear at this point but at least 198 citizens are confirmed dead with reports of over 2,000 injuries. Several enemy aircraft were shot down and one enemy pilot has been captured. Unfortunately, even more Foxburo pilots were lost in the defensive.
    President Fox Fire immediately ordered a Naval blockade and bombardment of Allepo and Raqqa, reportedly resulting in greater devastation than the attacks on Foxburo. Intelligence reports from allies in the region confirm that Arabia, oddly enough, is completely ill prepared for war and lacking in resources.
    President Fox Fire assured the nation that justice will be swift and brutal, declaring that Arabia will pay dearly for these unprovoked attacks, and issuing a warning to International Revolution to not intervene.

    Khevin Embargo Ends
     
    After a petition against the embargo on Khevin has reached 10,000 signatures, the issue was re-addressed in the Senate with a new vote on whether to end the embargo. The vote resulted in 314-186 in favor of ending the embargo. Recent polls suggest that with the ongoing violence in Khevin, the atrocities committed by the SARF and the wounding of Zhogin, public opinion has shifted significantly, with many calling to aid Khevins regime, although most people still seem wary of aiding a government at war with it's own people.
    This new move was welcomed with caution by Fox Fire who stressed that the most important thing is for the violence in Khevin to end. Foxburo is still accepting any refugees who manage to make it here, although many conservatives are highly critical of taking refugees from Khevin and have stated they will present new legislation in the future attempting to place more analysis and restrictions on asylum seekers in Foxburo.

    War on Piracy
     
    The war on piracy, was declared by The Monroe Republic against Arrgh on January 9, 2016. The Foxburo Armed Forces quickly took action to help contain the political situation brewing in the nation of United Arms Manufacturers where a movement was taking place against piracy. Later it was discovered that radicals in PyroStat had also seized the government, where Foxburo forces had just pulled out of. Minister of Defense Kalakova explains in a press conference in Arkaley:
    The conflicts were mostly fought in the air where the Foxburo Air Force was able to overpower the enemy. It was not long until the enemy was decimated and and requesting peace talks. The war ended shortly after with the surrender or PyroStat and United Arms Manufacturers. Celebrations broke out across Foxburo funded by newly looted rum.
     
     
    Arkaley & Lab 4
     
    In celebration of victory over anti-pirate tyranny, the new settlement Arkaley was announced as a city today concluding a large, swift development program. Officials say the city is to be the new home of many companies as well as government funded research facilities doing various kinds of work. Conspiracy protesters have been accusing the government of various homicidal plots based around Laboratory 4, an off limits military facility outside the town. Kalakova responded to the accusations in the press conference:

    Regardless of what's going on inside Lab 4, the rest of the city seems to be developing and progressing nicely with new housing developments springing up fast and new buildings already full.
