I lost 90 million and it says all my cities are unpowered even though I have the resources to power them.
-
If you think that's subtle then try this: shut up. Can we have this thread closed since it's just another one firwof managed to dig himself a grave in at this point.
-
I would like to thank Firwof for once again demonstrating why downvotes are needed

https://politicsandwar.com/alliance/id=4937 Same with the Camelot alliance page and the Camelot Acronym

Unfortunately my dear rawr it was not

I may or may not have suggested this 2-3 times now

Personally I think that is too low, maybe 25-50% of your max per day. It gives incentive to blockade to stop people using the black market, and right now ships are the most useless unit in the game.
-
On top of the rebuy though right? Not instead of your rebuy
-
That is true a cap would limit the "pay to win" aspect. I didn't think it was needed as an alliance would have to coordinate buying the units at once and I assumed for an alliance the size of the top 20 there would not be enough supply for the demand. However I could be wrong. What type of cap would you suggest?
-
Yes selling troops to people would make the alliance affiliations interesting. It could lead to further CBs or some of your own allies or people in your alliance selling troops to the people you are fighting

As mentioned in other threads throughout the years, and even drawn up by Alex, a black market where you can purchase military units would be beneficial to the game. A black market would add new strategies and activities. 1. You can sell units on the black market just like you can any other resource 2. Black market transactions are private, a new spy option would be added so you can uncover who nation's are purchasing from. 3. This would be a sink for resources. Instead of selling raw steel or aluminum sell your planes or tanks that you make with your resources. 4. This would make alliance wars have less warning in the buildup. Instead of taking a few days to build to max military you can purchase max military overnight. 5. In addition, with the new tiering requirements for war with the score changes, allies out of range can support you by selling units rather than actually fighting the war themselves. 6. You cannot buy more than the max you are already allowed to have and the manufacturing rates of units stay the same, if you sell units you lose them and have to remake them to keep your own military strong. Please feel free to add your own additions to this idea or critique what I have said, I might not have thought of everything.

This should be a relatively simple request please give us a spot in our notifications where offensive spy ops are saved, just as spy ops done against us are.

Alex already had an idea like this called the Black Market. I got this image off of the Politics and War facebook page where he posted the idea a few years ago. We just need it implemented

The birth of a new alliance The Stratosphere
Viselli replied to Dave III's topic in Alliance Affairs
Oh hes slotted already -
I am having this same problem however even after I run an airstrike I cannot run a ground attack. I get the results but it does not take my MAPs nor does it show up in the war timeline. The specific war I am having this problem on is https://test.politicsandwar.com/nation/war/timeline/war=119990

Waiting for someone to report this April Fools joke for slot filling

Change City Score and Increase Military Rebuy Time to 1/3 Daily
Viselli replied to Alex's topic in Game Suggestions
They would get over run now too. The difference is the counters in the city 30s would be more effective. In almost any scenario a group of larger nation's can beat an equal group of less city nation's. However with the proposed changes the city 15s will be back in the fight for round 2 and the city 30s should be countered and beaten 9vs3 by the city 15 alliance mates. -
Changing Ground Control and Nerfing Airstrikes on Tanks
Viselli replied to Alex's topic in Game Suggestions
Air to Air should be the most effective way of destroying planes. However ground attacks should take out planes as if you overrun an airbase. This should only happen if you have tanks however to justify the cost of tanks vs soldiers -
Change City Score and Increase Military Rebuy Time to 1/4 Daily
Viselli replied to Alex's topic in Game Suggestions
3 day rebuy is better. Yes whales will have a huge advantage in troops 1 vs 1, however if they get slotted defensively that turns it into a 1 vs 4. Those 4 nation's should easily take on a whale with coordination, which any compitent alliance can deal with. 3 day rebuy also helps with nation's constantly getting rolled over. As wars go on raiders and the drop in score of the losing side take away slots from the attacker. With how beige is structured and with a 1/3 rebuy the losing side can easily come back during round 2. -
I have been playing since 2015. In this time i have seen people active on the forums sway Alex decision away from changes that most view as good for the game (ex: GPA mass complaining about perks.) Just because a change might be bad for the larger nations of the game does not mean it is bad for the longevity of the game.

Thank you Alex!
