Shwin lay fast asleep, resting from the battle of the night before and the many celebratory hours which had followed. The smell of eggs with a healthy portion of butter and sage wafted through the air. Shwin’s nose twitched, his eyes fluttering open at the unmistakable scent of Erik’s signature grilled bacon. He looked around the room, his fellow Peacekeepers also beginning to stir from their slumber. The meaty, greasy, charcoal-infused scent was suddenly punctuated by a scream from the edge of town. Shwin leapt to his feet, running out the inn’s door with a deep dread. He was met by quite a sight to behold: a white-haired, broad-chested figure, a silver medallion strapped to his neck and the head of a ghoul slung over one shoulder. And he heard from somewhere nearby as an unkempt, sleepy-eyed bard began to sing… ♫ Toss a coin to your Witcher, Oh, Valley of Pacifists, Oh, Valley of Pacifists, oh Toss a coin to your Witcher ♫ Article I. Both parties are obligated to come to the other’s aid if attacked. Article II. Both parties may optionally join the other in offensive ventures. Article III. Both parties have the option to cancel the Accords, but must provide a 73 hour notice of cancellation prior to the treaty being considered void. Fair point. Again, though, the effort was there, whereas I haven't seen anyone from your side reach out to us - feel free to correct me if I missed something/someone. We genuinely aimed to improve relations to at least a friendly acquaintance basis.

While I'm aware we historically have not had much of a relationship, I reached out to try establishing one (at the suggestion of Shwin) before any of these issues popped up. SS is from T$ Discord. I won't try arguing that a relatively short conversation with a relatively unknown FA head was supposed to be enough to change your view of us, but the effort was there.

I do appreciate the sentiment - I enjoyed our relationship, both before and during our time as allies. I am genuinely curious, though - why exactly do you see it as a negative that we gave you advance notice of our intentions? Surely all that did was open up more opportunities for you/give you time to figure out next steps? Even if it did give you "mixed feelings" about us, I would personally have been much more unhappy with an ally giving us their 72hr out of nowhere/with little to no notice.

I'm with Ronny D. I can see your perspective, but speaking specifically to your point on alliance affairs, I can think of at least one instance where a major plan was completely blown up due to a leak. Ironically, leaks are part of the fun of the game, but separation along low gov, mid gov, and leadership is super important to a functioning alliance. Plus, alliance-wide sharing would kind of eliminate the purpose of FA.
