For those confused, Sanctuary is a an alliance that merged into the Coven late last year. This announcement clearly indicates that DB is going to be joining what minesome calls "the oddbunch" with TFP, 5P, UU, HS, etc.

I'd like to explain some of the discussion we already had. Basically we came to a consensus that the best nerf would be to cut out inactive nations. Originally, I had mentioned an easy metric: purple diamonds. Basically the idea is it wouldn't change for anyone who didn't basically quit. So it only cut off a little income to inactive raiders. It's hard to accurately gauge, but I had calculated that of the 3168 RPCs, 1705 (54%) of those nations were grey (data dump doesn't show activity). So at minimum the inactives can get cut off and the problem is cut in half. Beyond that, I don't care much, personally so long as the purple diamonds, are cut off. Eith way, I suspect we'll end up revisiting it if the nerf is insufficient.

Finally a DOW that is succinct, accurate, and legible.

Ooo that's a good one. I suggest this for the war name poll. Come on, Tyrion, let us have some independence. This is the kind of mentality that hampers non-gov members. And for what? So we couldn't have a mild topical discussion? The forums are for everyone, not just the same 5 people that always post.

That's not the point. The precedent must be set that uninvolved parties should have no say in what the war is called.

My suggestion

If we pay attention to the last few years, you don't need a treaty to have an implied oA clause. Everyone who DMs has an implied oA clause.
