1. You guys should go to war with each other. Thats how I would settle this.
2. o/ Fark Great work folks. This announcement is fantastic. To preserving your sphere for you and many others!
3. Agreed; Solid standing. but defending yourself is what makes you a sovereign entity. The ability to ensure your right as an alliance here on Orbis. I'm not saying I havn't taken the same course one time or another Arrgh did once Once.
4. Agreed. This is also how we have always viewed raids. At the same point, Arrghs! Do not raid list was getting to long, as we had to chop it up. I wish we didnt have to have a DNR but unfortunately not everyone is bright. Raids on inactive/active members are the same in my eyes, You'll see me raid inactive and active folks. I generally offer peace unlike other raiders; but hey I have a soft spot for the softies.
5. I really dont like this treaty, but I dont like treaties in the first place. Ya'know that would probably warrant a response from there protector
6. I'd like to see one alliance that views attacks that way. Even VE (pre-war) woud only target the raiding nation in counter attacks. So clearly you should go emerse yourselves in Orbis' politics and come back and post in public, or who knows... Under your premise a few DoW's are gonna happen on your alliance
7. We do not hold a treaty with anyone. We have friendships with some of our old protectorates, those protectorates feel as though they have moved on and can now protect themselves and stand as a soviergn entity. Some alliances choose to hire arrgh to act as a protective force. We negotiate terms of said agreements in private and organize a CONTRACT that is then agreed upon by both parties. Installments are then made weekly to help cover the cost of defensive operations for said alliance. Trust me these arn't treaties; They're working business relationships. Neither is it extortion; We're pirates, money grubbing pirates. Oo P.S. Ill define Contracts for everyone if all the world leaders of orbis dont know what they are, since apperently no one knew what a treaty was? Hugging infra is more fun Raiders shouldnt be raiding if they cant figure out who to raid. We allow our protectorates to stay out of the treaty web, with a safe place to grow and develop as there own entity. Rather then imposing on them and calling in our protectorates to fight our battles for us. Unwarranted aggression means you target an alliance rather than the nation attacking your alliance. You might as well call it a raid, Arrgh! has done this before, and we dont try to hide behind a bad CB. Bad CB < Honesty
8. This announcement is fantastic. I always enjoy seeing well thought out policies put forward. Last time I checked you green light raiding arrgh!; Raiding is a right and a responsibility of the nation raiding. If an alliance green lights "raiding" that is an act of war. Its a damn good thing Arrgh! is here to make sure un-necessary aggression against one of our protectorates is pursued. Some of our friendships arn't just extortion
9. I think Rose is a little occupied Good luck in your war on Morals while the rest of Orbis blows the poo out of each other guys
10. Arrgh! will be protecting the Assassin Order. I also want to wish Raven the best of luck in his new endeavor and we will always be around if you need us. Hopefully your thirst for booty will never be quenched
11. Oh boy, This thread could only surpass my wildest expectations. I hope you all the best in your bright future, hopefully many more announcements will be made in the future!
12. Anything that gets rid of all these Mensa and BK ads is fine by me. Just make them entertaining please.
13. Arrgh has 6 lol Good luck guys, Though 5 presidents is interesting
14. That scoundrel. If you're interested Arrgh will hit him for the remaining money in your alliance bank.
15. Arrgh is continuing protection over The Watchmen indefinitely. I also wish you guys the best of luck with a fresh start!
16. Interesting to say the least, now to max out my spies and drive everyone crazy Perhaps the Intelligence Project can raise the cap?
17. So you mean to tell us, That the saintly government of Terradoxia, who denied ever using Lasts money to bank roll growth programs in Terradoxia, Actually did use Last's money to bank roll growth in the alliance? Joy, and since we witnessed the mass armament of nuclear weapons being amassed on the terradoxia AA; We can assume that was a growth program handled by Terradoxia. The fact that Terradoxia was running these growth programs, with Last as Minister of Foreign Affairs, means that someone else had to be pointing the money in the proper direction. Which means more of the terradoxia government had to be participating then they would like to openly admit. When the initial thread came around about Last cheating, I know terradoxia stayed the hell out of it. A thread that got so manys attention though, could have not gone un-noticed. I would like this addressed, as I have been watching a lot of scary growth come from Terradoxia over the last two months; It had to be 10's of millions of this exploit money being funneled into the alliance.(If not 100's of millions, nations where going to 2k infra per city then developing nukes a week later) Also Thank you to all parties who found and identified the exploit Jacob
18. Perhaps keeping a running number on generated income per nation? I know this is difficult with trades etc. Every turn though the game could save the generated income and add it to the total number. Obviously strange influxes should raise an alarm. My point being at any one point a nation should only produce so much, with alliance grants etc that may change things but the growth we experienced with nations like... Nation: https://politicsandwar.com/nation/id=11943 Trades: https://politicsandwar.com/nation/id=11943&display=trade This nation went from 350 points to 1K in a few days, after being inactive for two weeks. It was one of the nations Last was initially accused of cheating with, I knew his numbers could never have been right, as he called it "Linear Growth" even if aided by his large nation was still not possible. Monitering for large influxes of cash/resources (Simple avg market price formula will allow for you to at least create a baseline when it comes to value of resources, perhaps if you want to put more effort in it generated income can also come from market sales.) Anyways admin in (That terrible game that is totally irrelevant and I shouldn't be bringing it up anyways) did the same thing, for a reason I think is similar. If a nation magically appears with a hyper "effective" nation; eyebrows should be raised. Keeping track of expenses is probably also important. This would be a first step to trying to at least monitor this situation.
19. Im just running around yelling... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bhFHIlwCSq0 Those gentlemen smelled of cheating...
20. You raided everyone of Arrghs Protectorates, thats why it wasnt profitable >.>
21. Only reason I didnt raid them It was on there for at least a week, Henry also told us you guys where protecting them. Thought I should have checked in with you folks. Soo Rose in this light, Can we make this protection come online in like 3 days?
22. Sooo what happened to Titans protection treaty with DEIC? Rose, After the last war cant you make a good decision?
23. #1 Since "Poaching" Is such a grey area for all of you; If you contact any member of an Alliance asking them to join your alliance. It's poaching. As a long respected status quo, Nations on "None" have always been fair game for recruiting. Poaching is the LOWEST form of recruitment, and personally if you have to resort to messaging other alliances you should probably just delete now. People should come to you for how you operate, your reputation and prowess. (Like being a bunch of poop-deck loving scallywags) #2 Titan is clearly just trying to dredge the bottom for points. #3 Titan has had its members join a variety of other alliances before quickly dipping to there AA. We noticed it on Arrgh and a few other Alliances. So I hope this "poaching" thing isnt actually some sort of spy ring Jacob P.S. Henry, Mind sending me a recruitment message; I would love to know what you say to these people.
