  6. It's possible to make time progress in different rates at two different locations, you can consider that as a primitive form of time travel. However, right now, it's not possible to go backwards in time and there are a lot of hypotheses in this topic.
  7. I think you are referring stack system + turn based military purchase. My question is just about turn based military purchase, without stacks. Even if someone logs in once a day, they should be able to build military in the same pace like someone who logs in more than once. Currently we are getting revenue every turn, gathering taxes every turn and so on, so why not build military per turn? Why to build military every day instead? That's my question
  8. In test server, along with the stack system, military purchases were based on turns rather than at the end of a day. But along with the stack system, turn based military purchase was also scrapped. Is there any reason for not implementing the turn based military purchase? As far as I can think of, it provides (1) flexibility to everyone and (2) adds a level of surprise as far as blitz timing is concerned whereas with the current system, (1) everyone is required to be online at the same time and (2) everyone knows war will start exactly at a particular time of the day.

With 48 spies and against 50 spies, a "quick and dry" safety level, gather intel operation gives success probability barely changes between 75-99%, which costs $168,000. But with 1 vs 50 scenario, with just $18,186 spent, the success probability goes to between 75-99%. So, if number of espionage operations are going to be dependent on number of spies we are going to use, then gather intel formula should be changed.
  10. If nukes are not visible, then nukes shouldn't contribute to nation score as well. May I know from which post you get this from? EDIT: nvm, I found that post. If nukes are going to be counted in nation score, then scripts can read nation score and find the changes in it. It can calculate the score contribution from other factors and can detect a nuke built based on score change. If Nukes are not going to be added to nation score, every nation will just pile up nukes, as much as they can. I think this is a shitty update If people are sending, say 1 spy to carry out 60 espionage operations, most of them won't succeed. To carry out a lot of espionage operations, we need to send less number of spies and to make the espionage successful, we need to send some little more than a safe value, so these two will balance at some point.
  11. There are several Frank Underwoods in this game. Next time when someone contacts you to declare war on others, confirm it with your alliance leadership before acting on it.
  12. Given that people are playing this game from around the world, from different timezones, shortening the turn timer will not increase participation. New players might find the short timer interesting, but during war, they will certainly regret that. Baseball or any other mini games are a good addition only if they demand some sort of a skill/technique from those who are playing it. Right now, baseball is all about investing and clicking, some may find it a good way to earn money in long term, but it's no where near "interesting" and will not help player retention. If the intentions behind this is to increase player base and make the game bigger and dynamic, the best way to do it is to encourage people from other countries to play this game too. Currently, one of the biggest hurdle for people from other timezones is, the update time. A lot of people who can't stay online during day change in orbis, will certainly underperform compared to others in alliance wars. I've personally lost several players due to this particular point, as the orbis day change happens at morning 05:30 am in my place. In other countries, it's impossible to be online at that time. Making military buy reset every turn, creating a pay option for people from other countries, having support for other languages will improve participation from other countries and increase player base in my opinion. Regarding IRC, it's one of the best ways for members to communicate, but yes it's hard for a new member. Right now, most alliances have their own slack/discord servers, so those members who join an alliance immediately after they create their nation shouldn't face this problem.

  15. Yes to what Magnanimus suggested. What we usually start with in test server is not enough to simulate a battle, so it usually rests on the players to develop their nation for a while and then test it. In this case, it totally sucks when someone just exploits the bug and makes the resources go negative. In addition to reset, it'll be great if we start with a specific scenario, say some infra in cities and some military buildings, each player gets some random nation, so that we can just stick into testing the war mechanics alone, faster. Specific scenario includes, nations with different city counts, different infra and infra/city (since infra also affects our military cap in test server) etc.., For ease of implementation, when a new player creates an account in test server, it randomly copies any active nation (within a particular score range) and assigns for that player. Just a suggestion, please consider it if it's feasible.

  19. Currently test server is full of bugs. The following are a few that I managed to notice recently I got attacked by hidude, with 68 aircrafts while I had 601 aircrafts. After the initial airstrikes (it was utter failure btw), I still have my military intact and he managed to loot my nation. I thought war ended only with immense air conrol, but it works for any air strikes. After the initial attack, I was sent to beige and now my gas, munitions, food (in my nation) are in negative value. Hidude looted from alliance bank, but we still have the same amount in bank. Once 100% tax is set for alliance and if members of that alliance is losing food or Iron, the resources in bank goes negative.
  20. So I was fighting User Input, went for 2 ground attacks, received 2 ground attacks and then I did one air strike which made the resistance zero for my opponent. My question is, how does resistance drop in test server? I know ground immense triumph reduces resistance by 10, how about for airstrikes? Does resistance drops to zero if we manage to achieve both ground and air control? Typo: War timeline mentions our war ended with a peace treaty.
