  1. Eh. I don't think it matters that much that you have to trade 1 food, and it just ends up being more coding for Sheepy.
  2. Hi Sheepy! Was already aware of the 10% chance, and was suggesting this percentage be increased (and perhaps have the odds be slightly skewed in favor of destroying military improvements). I'll just reiterate here: As for rebuilding. If the odds are weighted towards military improvements, this change won't make much of an impact because people who are rebuilding post-war will be replacing their military improvements anyways to free up slots for economic improvements. Of course, DURING wars, they have to build their infra back up if they want to replace all their military buildings, which is great because then they can't destroy low-tier with their 200k soldiers. It seems incredibly unbalanced to have somebody with an NRF + 40 improvements per city + quite a few cities lurking around in mid-tier because their infra got destroyed, but not their capability to rebuild their massive militaries.
  3. Whereas currently, it is theoretically possible for someone with a 200K+ soldier cap to fall into a much lower tier and destroy everything (someone from super-tier gets infra bombed to mid-tier, gets beiged in the process, rebuilds his army and starts wrecking everything), I propose that the chances of city improvements being destroyed, especially military improvements, become much, much higher. It is currently extremely hard to lose any sort of improvements at all, even though one being destroyed doesn't really have too much of an effect. (this proposed change would not only be for missile attacks, but for regular ground/air/ship attacks as well) HOWEVER, this change would further increase the power of offensive war declarations, which is already an issue. Therefore, I also propose that losses during battle in the form of soldiers, tanks, planes, and ships are reduced, or possibly even halved. This would be a defensive buff as it would make rebuilding army value easier (up to the cap, of course). I believe that these two changes combined would improve war mechanics significantly. Cheers!
  4. @Vincent/Malaysia Didn't I see you when t$ was fighting against Rose? (I was the one repeatedly destroying your spies xD) What happened--did they kick you out? tbh I would probably kick you out if I was Rose, but someone provide backstory pls.
  5. Okay I don't know really too much about the technical details, but imho attacking your MDP ally is stupid and you shouldn't have done it, technicality in the treaty or no. This is because you've just thrown doubt onto all of your other alliances- you don't want to be 'that guy' that makes everyone double/triple check their treaties with you just to make sure they're safe against their own ally lmao
  6. Ohhhhh I finally got it- Saru thinks that t$ was amassing its power and consolidating its allies so that it could overthrow UPN! That's funny, I hadn't considered that... take it from me or not, I just kinda wanted to see the balance between three spheres of power because it's actually interesting, not because I especially care so much about UPN and want them to die haha. The conventional way three party systems work is that when one of the parties gets too powerful, the other two unite to keep the other down. I think a big part of this disagreement stems from that it looks like the two stronger sides united together to kick the smaller one out (and make political life boring again).
  7. @Saru, quick question from the FA noob here- why were you guys listening and cooperating with VE when they were in on the plan to attack you? Legit question, I simply don't know I can personally attest that Impero's heartfelt request for us to dump Partisan on our own forums pissed our membership off. A lot. I honestly don't know how he turned us against him so fast, but he did- but I suppose that's a running thing for Impero? (sorry, i'm sure you can be an alright person Impero, it's just really hard to see sometimes)
  8. IMHO the CB and whole reasoning for this war seems to be on pretty shaky ground xD. UPN attacks t$ for plotting to attack it three months ago, sounds good! (Wait. So they allied VE, who was also plotting to hit UPN?) UPN attacks SK because it 'firmly believes' the #9 alliance will target them. (Thus this preemptive strike will save UPN from certain defeat later by an alliance a third of its size.) And apparently, UPN attacks TEst, no reason given. Can we just all admit that we were feeling kinda bored and douchey and we hadn't hit anyone in a while? I'm willing to accept that as a CB--it's certainly how I felt xD. Nevertheless, while the politics are weird, I still greatly admire the warriors of the Covenant; good luck to them. Give us your all, and don't hold back! EDIT: PLS DON'T MISCONSTRUE, I LIKE THIS WAR. I WAS REALLY BORED although if there's another war in a month, it'll start to put a bit of a drain on me
  9. It's been a long time since I've seen the DEIC fleet set sail in the name of conquest. Glad to see you guys in the fray- now show us what you can do!
  10. Glad to see you guys are at the party BoC! I see you brought plenty of your famous snowcones
  11. "a Statment" Ole, I'm just going to leave that there so you can reflect on what you've done.
  12. Quite a generous initiative you have here Filencai- loaning for 0% interest is basically helping boost other people for free. You deserve crazy karma points for this, really.
  13. I always thought it was like fin-ee. Like finicky but shortened. Defined as: qualified as having lots of fin.
  14. Casus belli confirmed to be Kim leaving. Also thank you for the nuke Kim, it's my first nuke

  17. I'm not very knowledgeable in Orbis geopolitics, so bear with me here if I get anything wrong. But to my understanding: Justice- An idea you have perverted, because you clearly see yourself as faultless. The maxim "I did it because I was ordered" may somehow justify your actions in your mind, but (unfortunately!) draws great parallels with the Nuremberg Trials; where hundreds of Nazis used that defense in order to justify their atrocities. "Shellhound did it" is not only convenient for you, but regrettably false. All of you had a hand in it by simply fighting. Honor- "You would've started it if we hadn't, and things would have turned out much differently" THEN LET THEM START IT AND LET THINGS TURN OUT DIFFERENTLY. The conviction that "we could've won, we were preempting in self defense and *sob* all of you dog-pilers suck" is the most dishonorable thing I've heard. Honor brings with it respect, and you are losing that by the second. While I personally disagree with war reparations myself, it has been used throughout the world and will continue to be used to compensate for financial damage that you started. "But wait they would've attacked us-" But then you did it, shut up please. Loyalty- "You question our loyalty to see things through, and you question it through asking for termed peace." What? You ARE aware that loyalty means faithfulness to commitments or obligations, like your leader Shellhound. (I guess you had reasonable reasons, so I'm willing to yield that Shellhound point haha) But I have a hard time understanding what you are being loyal to here- unless of course, you are being loyal to a commitment to "keep fighting no matter what". (In which case you'll be crushed, so that doesn't sound reasonable.) Otherwise, your point doesn't make sense Modus ponendo ponens, perhaps the Orbis community could teach Guardian a thing or two about their own tenets, which they seem to have perverted or misunderstood completely.
  18. *wipes away a tear* I am glad I have your blessing, Lord Frostsword. To war! ~For the Brotherhood!
  19. Haha I think you're pulling a little too hard for those last ones there, if we both have the appropriate understanding of what cognitive dissonance means xD
  20. Adding my personal view on the spy changes. I loved spies because it allowed me to help lower tier nations (at great cost) and be a semi-effective fighting force against larger nations, because we recruited at the same rate. Now I can't help my lower tier, and larger nations can crush me in every military aspect. I know you meant to balance the game, but it seems that you have tipped the tier scales even further.
  21. This is actually really cool. Why are you doing this? Anyways, please add me in
