1. Cant stump the Trump(2016)!
2. I think it could be neat if the pot is 50%-79%~ or so of the sum entry pool
3. Sometimes, do you feel like you don't really belong in your current AA? Like you are supposed to be somewhere else? You can go the distance, join Pantheon!
4. Only adding alliances with atelast 10 or 15 members may fix a lot of that
5. Great changes, but an expiration date seems like the sensible move here
6. Yes, large cities usually have more crime =X. Oregon has far less gun crime then comparable states though(As you should of noticed). But to go into detail about poverty and crime, here is something to get you started: https://www.google.com/?gws_rd=ssl#q=poverty+causes+gun+violenceIt's been a solid correlation for decades. Poverty = Gun violence. There is a bit more to it as some of the articles will point out, but that is very close to the mark Me saying: "The cost of living in Oregon is also much cheaper, think on that to, hah" is a long way from "Although you also try to debunk the poverty issue by saying the cost of living is cheaper in Oregon". Understanding English is an important part of any productive conversation! And 3rdly, how the government's policies are(And have been since Bush Sr) actively destroying the lives of 90%~ of Americans to the benefit of a few ultra rich groups is far worse then MKULTRA IMO
7. For the love of God guys, read this: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gun_violence_in_the_United_States_by_state California has some of the toughest guns laws in the country, and it has a death rate per capita of 3.4 per 100,000 Oregon, which has just about the most lenient gun laws in the US, has a 0.9 Oregon's gun laws: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gun_laws_in_Oregon They have next to *NONE*, but are vastly safer. "Common sense" gun laws *do not* work. Period. It's poverty issue, not at all a "gun issue". The cost of living in Oregon is also much cheaper, think on that to, hah This is simply "The Party's" new Abortion and Gay Marriage(People got tired of hearing about abortion, and Gay Marriage is no longer an issue, so they need a new topic for their successful strategy). It's the topic they are using to continue to divide(And distract) Americans against each other so they can continue their completely un ethical government that is !@#$ing the American people in -MUCH- more meaningful ways behind the curtain. It's The people who do the research and know what they are talking about Vrs those who believe something because it sounds sensible and are persuaded by the politicians =/
8. May The High Priest of Soul forgive my trespasses As we forgive those who trespass against us And lead us not into modern R&B But deliver us to the Genius Amen
9. @Lann #partycrash No offense, but those logic chains are ridiculous and incorrect. it would take me a while to go into why statements like "3. If a maximally great being exists in some possible world, then it exists in every possible world." are absurd, but i'll take some time to do it with one of them. God(maximally great being) is not a "Possibility" that is supported by any accurate evidence or model(Yes, half baked Astronomy/physics is not evidence! The absence of evidence, anti evidence, is also not evidence!. If 2 socially removed people found a modern day automobile, and we assumed it was evidence of God because they didn't understand it, they'd be wrong. That's where we are on the greatest level of astronomy, we can not sanely use it to argue for or against "God" at this point in time, as we don't understand it yet), thinking that it is, is delusion. God being real is about the same likelihood of flying, invisible, unicorns that smell like roses. Ergo, not a possibility in any rational sense
10. I think this is just perfect, He leaves this world as he lived in it
11. Comrade Printin is packing nukes
12. We've come a long way sense we started, and I updated the OP to reflect where we are now!
13. Ultimately, because Religion is ridiculous and delusion. Just like any other ridiculous claim, it is safe to assume they are untrue. If I 'corrected' someone by telling them that the core of the moon is not made of Cheese, am I being intrinsically arrogant? Ofcourse not. While the core of the moon hasn't been directly investigated by me or other humans, it is a extremely safe assumption that is is not cheese. People treating religion like this only come off as intrinsically "arrogant" to some because of our cultural bias that gives the current religions validity because so many others entertain the meme(An interesting thing our brain's do). This is just the a priori side of it as well, there are ofcourse the scientific argument of the Universe not working that way, which also applies to the major religions. But just like the moon's core not being made of cheese, Religious claims like an Omnipotent super being(s) who watch our every move and grant us afterlife cant be directly dis-proven(And us humans love deductive reasoning!). But does that mean we should entertain the possibility? Ofcourse not. It is not intrinsically Arrogant nor unwise to denounce the Delusion(This is a more complicated statement then it may seem at 1st). Furthermore, when regarding the major religions specifically, they are paradoxical and can not exist as a rational thought, even in a thought experiment. Incase all of this is unclear, to specifically spell out the answer to your questions. Entertaining the possibility of a delusion is less rational then not. "Both have no real knowledge on the matter, none can actually prove their claims." is untrue because there is "Real knowledge" pertaining to this question. The knowledge is our current models of understanding the world(That predict phenomena and therefor have *atleast* some measure of validity, and religion is delusion under these models) and the logic that bears the major religions out to be contradictory and nonsensical. If your kid randomly claims that the Moon has a core ofcheese inside it because you have never been there, it is irrational to believe him or open yourself up to the possibility
14. Most of the game goes down on IRC anyways, heh
15. I always found the Trump adds amusing, I think this is a bad decision for many of the good reasons brought up prior =/
16. You beat us to it it, we where going to hit him today as well for raiding us You did us a favor, thanks XD
17. The people who believe any of these sociopaths will represent Americans are the ones who lost IMO
18. Maybe guns are not the issue, maybe it is poverty, A terrible education system, an overworked population, and the inability for most Americans to achieve a satisfactory Work-Life Balance while having their needs met. Just a thought
19. Some people cant tell the difference between Iron Aged Fairy Tales and Reality. What it comes down to in the minds of the superstitious is that they fundamentally can not tell the difference between what is "True" and "What feels good". This complete Inability to accurately think spills into every facet of their life(And if enough people are afflicted by it, society itself). It’s a dangerous and terrible thing that greatly impedes human advancement =/
