In addition to Hypno's point, the 2nd and 3rd debates have historically been a wash in elections. Such a strategy would be basically giving up on a chance for a million dollars, in order to play for 5 bucks.

See, this is why the current treaty system is idiotic. UPN is not a defender here, they and their allies attacked fast. This idea that someone who plans and executes an offensive war should benefit from defensive ties is dumb. Either go on the offensive, or be defensive. People need to stop trying to have it both ways.

That's big talk coming from an "alliance" that tried and failed to jump on the bandwagon with Fark, AFTER we'd already been at war with VE, UPN, SK, NPO, and Polaris for several days. And its hard to consider it messing it up when your score has been halved, while ours has been flat for the 24-hours since you attacked.
