  1. P&W was always going to be a reboot of every game we have all played. The trouble is Alex is lazy & has done a reboot, whilst he learnt. BTW Alex you have done, what I would have done. Now he has started a new game, so guys and girls, the tdlr is P&W is now a cash cow. Once a business has a new improved outlet, they inevitably want you to slowly jump on board. P&W was his Beta. To work, these games need a decision over economic v war . For both lower & upper tier. I actually think a good game needs a semi protected neutral (for interest, but also game mechanics. Different strokes for different folks) P&W doesn't work, again it's a rehash, so it's come to the end game quicker, as everyone has been through the scenarios, literally endlessly. My advice would be go for a yin/yang economic /war build for nations & after a certain size, your on that path.
  2. Good Luck hidude. Nothing is forever. Good or bad. All the best.
  3. The Goat & Lizard boys will always be my No.1
  4. Personally I generally can't complain and fun was had. As Pre mentioned in the OP, it was clearly coming whatever CB. Yes it went on a bit too long, but meh. My opponents were all well spoken & polite. GG to all I fought.
  5. Similar but a different context. Most WTF members were only logging in for old time sake in a long dead game. We killed our nations as they were going inactive anyway and a lot came back from inactivity for it. P&W wouldn't tolerate a WTF getting to the size it did ,(which allowed WTF to work) in fact it doesn't really tolerate neutrality at all. Trying to use (That terrible game that is totally irrelevant and I shouldn't be bringing it up anyways) morals in P&W doesn't go very far, it's still a young game & I suspect TFP have every intention of still playing.
  6. Hello Kastor, I'd like to address your posts regarding Ourselves. I've played browser games like this since 2006. I've been around the block once or twice since then, which tbh is an irrelevance, apart from the fact I am more than happy at Sparta. I would not be part of an alliance that wasn't up to it. It's took me a few moves to find the right alliance, but Jim & Seabass have provided that. I think I've found a good alliance.
  7. I'd think this. I'm guessing this is something your interested in, rather that it being about an alternative to Paypal. If it were, you'd just add a regular credit/debit card payment facility. I'd say 95% of players wouldn't even know how to go about getting alternative currencies, including myself.
  8. Yes it seems strange that there is no perks for Nukes
  9. You fella's better hadn't get rid of Uncle Fish's comfy chair.
  10. A very surprising result in terms of the predictions. Personally I'm more than happy, as I voted Conservative, although tbh I'm just glad of a stable result. I'd prefer a Cons or Labour majority over the predicted Chaos. I guess the SNP, wagging the UK, or more so the English dog was a sobering thought for many in terms of the UK as a whole. UKIP clearly helped rather than hindered Conservatives as it seems they took votes from both main parties. Lib Dems were always going to get wiped out as being part of a government meant they couldn't now live in a fantasy land of promises. My predictions for the next term: Cons will scale back Austerity and take longer to balance the books. Tough line the first couple of years and a couple of years of sweeteners for the second half. Scotland will get pretty much full fiscal independance. Cons will want to keep the SNP in power in Scotland as this has given them a majority. SNP will be happy with this as the colapse in oil prices has Fubar'd their economic arguments. Europe will bend the rules, just enough to keep us sweet and "in". Labour will go to the left. Blairism would be good for them, but I can't see a Blairite candidate.(if they had chosen David, they would be in now IMHO)
  11. A great service for young nations. Thank you Arrgh.
