The National Library, India is the largest library in the country. It is an institution of national importance under the Ministry of Culture, Government of India. The library is designated to collect, disseminate and preserve the printed material produced in the country. The library is situated on a scenic 30 acres Belvedere Estate, in Kolkata (formerly Calcutta). This institution is part of the Education of India.

ATLAS News Flash!
As most will remember from ATLAS's last post, we were hired by Cornerstone and India to attack MensaHQ and others in their Axis.
However, due to a surprise turn in event, ATLAS was not needed as much as originally thought, as multiple alliances also went to war with Mensa's Axis that very same day. Because of all the alliances attacking Mensa, ATLAS couldn't attack many nations, because of the darned "3 Defending Wars" rule.
So, due to the current circumstances, the ATLAS Corporation is once again open for buisness! Because of the military surplus created during the preparation for the Mensa war, ATLAS is stronger than ever, and still growing. So, if there are any nations who require ATLAS aid, please visit the forum link in my signiture.
In other news, preparations for a new city are under way, which will be made to substain new steel and munition factories. It will also be home to another ATLAS military base. A name for the new city hasnt been released as of yet, but people are already selling there homes and apartment spaces to be able to move to the new area.
No new news from the war with Red Faction has surfaced yet. ATLAS forces continue to search the island of Sri Lanka for the terrorists, to no avail. Because of the lack of attacks, Jonmathon Irons, CEO of the ATLAS Corporation, made a press conference stating that he was going to lift Marshal Law from the nation of ATLAS this coming Monday. We can only hope that the Red Faction will stay away from ATLAS lands for the time being.
Fun Dip is still outlawed.

Today, July 29th 1992
India had been in a crisis of farm shortages, the food was disappearing very fast. The government authorized a huge roll on creating as much farms as possible. Few tank factories have been removed to make farms. The government realized that a famine can take place if they hadn't removed the factories. In other news, India focuses on making it's next city as they start selling their resources. India asks that all nations in orbis buys its products in the trade market to help India create the nation's 6th city.

I'd just like to say thanks to the committee for electing to host the world cup in Phintopia. You will not be disappointed. The little damage suffered from the recent skirmishes is in the process of being restored, and our military is fresh off the battlefield, looking forward to doing some home safety and new exciting airshows.
In regards to furthering football in Orbis, Phintopia is committed to the future of the game, and bringing in new teams as well as coaching from grassroots inside our own nation. To this end, we will be investing this money granted to us to replace the war banners around Phintopia :
