  1. Let me rephrase that, then. A lot of people are cowards. Period.
  2. A lot (not all) of citizens carry guns specifically because they are cowards. So, most people carrying guns will be crawling on the floor with the rest of the victims. Plus, in the case of a sniper it's hard to do otherwise. People that don't resist arrest are almost never shot by cops. Cops must always use the least force necessary, though. Basically, British cops are defenseless. I could shoot someone and they couldn't do a thing to stop me. I could shoot cop after cop, very casually, until they called in armed cops.
  3. Everyone knows businessmen make best presidents. For some unspecified reason.
  4. Football is American. You must be referring to some other sport that I'm not aware of.
  5. Yeah, look what they did in the housing bubble. And, Greenspan acting like he didn't have a clue. It was so obvious. I made so much money through their setup.
  6. Usually the price is only my dignity.
  7. They'll need a donation, because they don't have the means to take it. Imo, since this is a discussion about opinions.
  8. Surprised all the votes for "GPA weird adventure" that's terrible.
  9. Ha I got a vote. !@#$ ya'll suck my dick!
  10. Yes, let's give them their fair share. Lol. Brilliant political analysis. They're weak. They don't get nothing!
  11. I actually think I'm agreeing with your explanation of events. Appreciate it, too. Millions of civilians have been killed as collateral damage in bombings all over the world by all kinds of nations. Happens every day. There was nothing unusual in regards to war in Hiroshima and Nagasaki.
  12. Debt? Haha. We'll just run it up til we go to war.
  13. That would be nice, bcs I like to discuss economics. Lo Pan, don't criticize psuedo-anything unless you are something yourself. You're a very bad man. Very bad.
  14. Spot on. Kemal, drop the Japan thing.
  15. I thought this was something else. Disappointed.
  16. I don't know the history extensively, so I'm only discussing generalities. Maybe, someone more knowledgeable on this can speak regarding east/west Armenians. Hitler declared his final solution long after many "unintentional deaths", then. I never said anything otherwise. Tell me again about the little yellow area the Ottomans were left with? And, offer more advice on war. Bombing military targets was perfectly legal. Collateral damage was perfectly legal. War of independence, interesting. Go on. I really don't care to be correct over whatever happened there. Only the nuking thing. But, I'm interested in learning more about the history.
  17. No, the political establishment waves economists and specific economic ideologies like flags and banners. And, economists either write to suit their patrons' interests or more generally they foll in line with the dominant theory. Are you a professional economist?
  18. Most Jews died of starvation, disease, and exposure as well. Japan attacked us - in the most underhanded way. It's not PaW WW2 edition. You don't play games in the real world. Unconditional surrender was necessary to ensure they didn't attack us again. Hypothetical thought experiments? They fought to the last man for shitty little sand bars with an airstip. Always. Every time. It is certain that an invasion of their homeland would have been costly. If the nation of Armenia attacks you, you may bomb an Armenian city. That's war. If Armenian citizens (or Muslim citizens for that matter) in your nation carry out terror attacks and then you round up all the men, women, and children of that ethnicity - then that is something different. What the US did to the Japanese in the US was a crime. What we did to the nation of Japan was an act of war. Had we captured Hiroshima then put the people on an island and nuked them that would have been a crime. We attacked an enemy city.
  19. Then nearly every war in history would be genocide. We warned Japan that we would rain hell on them if they didn't surrender. They refused. Hiroshima happened. We warned them we would nuke again and again if they didn't surrender. They refused. Nagasaki happened. They surrendered. Horrible as the slaughter was, it did spare many times more Japanese lives. And more importantly American lives. Knowing the tenacity of Japanese defense, it's fair to guess one if not a few million lives were saved. Beyond being the less bloody alternative, it was total war in which they had used every weapon and tactic at their disposal. Including indiscriminately targeting our civilians. We were well within our rights to use these weapons to win a war they started and that would have ended our existence had we lost. When a regime goes door-to-door and rounds up a specific ethnic group, to be gassed or imprisoned or hacked with machetes or marched to exile or machine gunned into a mass grave, that's the basis of a genocide.
  20. I need a banner with a !@#$ coliding with and exploding a certain alliance by tomorrow. I'll give you everything in said exploding alliance's bank to do so.
  21. Should change his name to Sadam Hussain. 100% vote every election.
  22. REALLY high inflation when? WW1 or post reps Germany? Total war and sending all your wealth in reparations is abnormal and a poor benchmark.
  23. That's the answer. Lots of spare time for jihad, too. Although, I'd give my left ball to be a hunter/gatherer. That world is gone.
  24. He is the patron saint of advancing whatever theory serves his patron. I find the above kinda naive of both Lenin and Keynes. Inflation is the lifeblood of capitalism. Sure, it can infrequently shoot out of control, temporarily. The worst cases are in governments that are basically committing a fraud with their printing presses. More commonly, the crash caused by skyrocketing inflation is due to the inability to grow value at anywhere near those rates. You want to ruin capitalism? Deflation. It would destroy the profit motive.
  25. It's kinda funny, though, when I'm very bored.
