  1. ---- In response to this thread, The High Court of Thalmoria is formally opening a case into Alan. I am seeking to put him on trial, similar to how I did Borg and Tiberius. Lysander has already volunteered to lead his defense, and to do so alone. Alan indicates to me that he is very eager to not just participate in his defense, but also testify on his own behalf. Thus, I am seeking a prosecutor in this case. it is my understanding that Alan has quite a history in this game, and so I'm opening there will be a nice pool of volunteers. The only requirement for prosecutors is that they must be able to voice chat. If you wish to be the prosecutor in this case, please reach out to me on Discord. Those seeking to watch, participate, or simply learn more about the trial and the High Court may join Thalmoria and find the High Court of Thalmoria category using this invite: https://discord.gg/zBqrtrTsSv Thalmor Radio Video Archive: https://www.youtube.com/@thalmorradio8945/videos ---- UPDATE - 12/15/2023 5:36 PM Trial is now set for January 5th, 2024 Nokia has stepped down, and Chad has taken his place. Chad is super excited, though, and I believe the trial is going to be very exciting and interesting. Court Lineup and all relevant dates below: Court Lineup: Judge - Thalmor Bailiff - TBD Court Reporter: TBD Lead Prosecutor: Chad Assistant Prosecutor: TBD Lead Defense: Lysander Relevant Dates: Deadline for list of formal charges: December 20th, 8 PM EST Turnover of Discovery: December 27th, 8 PM EST Trial: January 5th, 10 PM EST (after Thalmor Radio) ---- UPDATE - 11/29/2023 9:54 PM EST Trial is set for December 16th, 8 PM EST. Nokia has volunteered to prosecute Alan. This is enough to get the event going. I am still looking for an assistant to Nokia. As Nokia can voice chat, any assistant prosecutor does NOT need to voice chat. Lysander has indicated that he still wishes to be alone on the defense. Court Lineup and all relevant dates below. 2. Are there logs of this? It sounds funny.
  3. Terrible idea. Politics and War is a business. We play the funny haha city count go up spreadsheet Discord game, but Alex's approach and feeling towards the game is completely different from ours. The bulk of P&W's revenue, I imagine, comes from credit sales. To strip P&W of its revenue would only incentivize Alex to just pull the plug. And maybe to some that's based because Alex bad or whatever, but I very much want to keep blowing up people's pixels for years to come. I do wish we had more features or reforms though. I also hope the stagnation we're going through breaks as well. I want to see the game thrive, so I can have more potential victims.
  4. Greetings! This was literally a shower thought I had. I was busy thinking about why others might want to go into government work in this game. It can be very stressful, to the point where it can have IRL ramifications. So, in order to learn more, I thought I would make a Google Form for government members from all across the game to share their thoughts and reasons. I'll go over the results on the next Thalmor Radio this Friday. The form asks for your nation ID, and the names of the alliances you were a part of. This is completely optional. The rest, however, I do ask that you complete in full. Form Link: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1ApX-UzPCdkYwoWOzdmAe8oABHVHBSUnZIiKWtJcvCUU

The alliance disbanded in December 2016. I've lost count at the number of reiterations that have been tried. I think 4 or 5? Kinda ridiculous. Instead of latching onto the past to propell your medicore self forward, you should carve a new legacy on your own, with your own community, on your own two feet, WITH YOUR OWN THEME Besides, KT is the successor to Terminus Est anyways. History lesson: Me and others splintered off from the 2016 alliance to make KT in early 2017. Not just that, but we've been able to do the Terminus Est thing better than Terminus Est did. You can't compete. Stop trying.
  6. 1. The Soviet Union is directly responsible for the Aral Sea drying up most of the way. Rural China (which is very capitalist today, but has that legacy of communism), today, is very polluted due to their industry. Communist countries are no better stewards of the environment than liberal states. 2. Both the Soviet Union and China had periods of mass starvation. Towards the end, the USSR had largely-empty supermarkets. Nobody in the western world really starves to death today. Perhaps some people skip meals, or are otherwise caloric or nutritionally deficit, but they're no worse off than people in Hungary or Poland half a century ago. 3. Who cares? You know how stupid some people are? There's a reason why people start businesses and keep them for years, and why some people can never reach that point. You don't let the 5'4" guy into the NBA. 4. Profit incentives motivate people to create and innovate. There's a reason why American, European, and Chinese companies dominate the globe. I don't see Cuban or North Korean companies anywhere. Btw how 8th grade going?
  7. 4 month NAP is pretty ridiculous. Unless it's meant to be mutual insurance for TKR/t$ and Rose/Singularity to split up. If that's the case, then fine.
  8. 300M if you nuke this nation in particular
  9. Congrats! Here's to five more! 🍹
  10. What did Ragner report you for? What did you do (or not do)?
  11. Ladies and gentlemen, distinguished guests, and fellow humor enthusiasts, today I stand before you to discuss the unique sense of humor possessed by the one and only Darkblade. Darkblade, an individual known for his sharp wit and comedic prowess, has once again displayed his comedic genius by utilizing ChatGPT to craft a forum post that has left us in stitches. His ability to harness the power of artificial intelligence and create hilarious content is truly commendable. However, amidst the laughter and enjoyment, it is with a heavy heart that I must address a somber topic. Darkblade's sister, unfortunately, has taken up a different career path by joining OnlyFans. While we respect individual choices, it is important to acknowledge the complexities and sensitivities surrounding such decisions. Let us remember to approach this topic with empathy, understanding, and support for Darkblade and his family during this challenging time. Additionally, and I must apologize for the candidness of this topic, Darkblade has recently been plagued by a rather unfortunate case of explosive diarrhea. Though a delicate subject matter, we cannot deny the irony in the misfortunes life sometimes throws our way. Darkblade, being the resilient soul he is, has managed to maintain his sense of humor even in the face of such discomfort. It is this unwavering ability to find laughter in life's most unexpected moments that truly showcases his comedic prowess. In conclusion, let us celebrate Darkblade's unique talent for humor, his ability to use technology to create laughter, and his resilience in the face of personal challenges. While we may find ourselves in fits of laughter at his wit and creativity, let us also remember to approach sensitive matters with empathy and compassion. Darkblade's ability to find humor even in the most difficult circumstances is a testament to his strength and unwavering spirit. So, let us continue to appreciate his comedic genius and extend our support and understanding to him and his loved ones. Thank you.
  12. The removal of beige cycling means that alliances are going to be able to perform more counter blitzes. This is a significant change, because at the present, the only option to those being cycled is to declare at random and try to farm beige in order to build back up. Under the upcoming system, the focus shifts to where those who get hit hard on the defense can build back up easier. From there, they can counter blitz; which is really a community exercise is coordination, activity, and competency. Idk I had to meditate on it a lot this evening, but I kinda dig this. There's now going to be more skill and leadership involved with wars. Curious to see how it plays out. All the other changes seem solid. Nothing really struck me as being particularly bad.
  13. This actually seems like a pretty good response to the CB.
  14. I think Polaris and World Task Force are two pretty good examples of alliances that are old and have a legacy behind them, yet they've always been pretty bad and have pretty consistently remained that way to this day. I also think they lack the mechanisms to improve, but because of their community, they're not going to disband and will just stay stuck as NPC alliances forever basically.
  15. I agree that blockaded nations should be able to collect bounties. Tweak: The funds are discharged after the blockade ends.
  16. Bountiful Harvest - At first I was neutral, but resource inflation seems to be a bigger problem than cash inflation, so I think I'm okay with this. Mars Landing - Further escalations can be the construction of space stations (like the ISS). The final one can be a manned expedition to Alpha Centauri or something. Cosmetic resource sinks go brrrrr Military Expansion - I can't benefit from this, so I'm against it. Advanced Surveillance Network - I want espionage to be developed more, so I'm down with this.
