  1. Yeah. I'm not so interested in that stuff. I'm mostly looking at nation and alliance stats. Bank transactions and tax is relatively easily copy pasted but a csv file would be quicker and easier. War stats would be cool though.
  2. If I can pull this info from the API, anyone can! Only thing I've had to scrape is member lists. Would be really nice though if we could have all the nation feed info for players in an alliance from a single API url rather than having to pull individual nations from separate urls.
  3. Oh right. It's a pirvate althorgm to caculate a maxium for your negoation. Now I understand
  4. I don't know why you don't just use an algorithm. They can be very basic
  5. Good luck I'm sure you'll move on to someone else when you've finished with BoC (unless someone else attacks you guys first).
  6. Am I reading this correctly? Are you suggesting I'm not smart because I attacked someone who was less than 7 days inactive? I do think 4-7 days inactive is inactive. It's hardly committed is it? You wouldn't want to co-ordinate an alliance full of players who logged in once every 4-7 days. Inactivity isn't the only reason to attack people though. Profit and a little bit of entertainment is also good. Wisdomtree was decent about it though, so I was happy to offer peace. I really think you should be encouraging war so you can sell more credits rather than insulting the people who actually start them. Anyone is welcome to attack me if I turn red.
  7. That's actually quite a good (and simple) idea. That way everyone who wants VIP or to put an advert up, etc has to buy credits. At the moment they can simply buy them off the market without really missing the cash too much. Maybe the value of them would then need to be doubled? Either way it would help.
  8. I've already mentioned customer service in a previous thread, so I won't go over old ground repeating it in detail but it is a key issue for people who are spending money on things. Make the game more interesting. Encourage more war. I know quite a few people who are just going through the motions at the moment, unsure whether they will continue to play. The game discourages war and the alliances also discourage war. Find a way to blow the treaty web to pieces or make it less of an issue. With more war and less treaty web, people will be forced into holding a standing army. There are a great many people with hardly any army who know they can militarise just ahead of an alliance war. In the meantime, just being a member of their alliance means they are safe. People don't need the money from credits when there isn't much war and they aren't having to pay upkeep. 1 credit might be half a days revenue. Reducing those people's revenue somehow would probably be more effective than raising the value of credits. Here's a few ideas: Remove the additional upkeep costs during war. Make a proportion of the slots military only (perhaps base on the 10% military score recommendation). Bring treaties in game and charge for them (do away with optional pacts because they are meaningless). Limit treaties to 2 per alliance. Make them decide what's really important to them rather than being like Pokemon (gotta catch 'em all). Automatically boot people from alliances when they hit 7 days inactive (unless they are on vacation mode). Add missions which encourage war. This one would probably need another thread for itself. Loads of possibilities here. Bring in conditions where opponents can be prevented from firing missiles/nukes. At the moment, if you go to war with a nuke nation, you are pretty much guaranteed to lose money, even if you are hammering them in conventional warfare. Increase military upkeep costs for every week without a battle. Those are just a few quick ideas. I'm sure some of them won't be popular. There are a lot of people with the means to pay for credits who simply don't want to because they don't think it's worth it. Raising the value of credits would perhaps make everyone else at a larger disadvantage which isn't great for growing the game. Not everyone has the means to invest money monthly in an online game but they still make a contribution to the overall health and appeal of the game, so shouldn't be disadvantaged too much.
  9. Give them money for joining an alliance. Give them more when they have stayed with an alliance for 30 days. Could create them as player missions which pay out automatically when complete. Everyone who logs in more than a couple of times would join an alliance then. You could expand on the missions idea to encourage war, production or any number of things.
  10. A bit of customer service might help retain credit buyers too. I'd much rather we had a reasonable response to genuine concerns than a gimicky new background to entice more people into parting with their hard earned money. I guess I've spent around $300 since joining. When you invest like that in your account over a period of time (it is a slow game), the last thing you need is war being artificially rewound to the benefit of your opponents. But hey, we can always spend another 6 months worth of credits getting ready for the next war. Sorry but that doesn't encourage me to invest any more. Not to mention the hacking issues. Incentivise more war and give some customer service (calling them donations doesn't stop people being customers) and the game will be better and more people will be happy to keep spending.
  11. What an absolute crock of shit. I mean if you're going to make up stuff about people, at least make it remotely believable.
  12. Sent all his stuff to his alliance and then left it. Painted a nice big target on the remaining guy in that alliance. GGWP
  13. I don't think I'd be too bothered about the crucifiction if I'd already been beheaded. I guess the UN thinking is that by bringing them in they will have more influence over them. The whole organisation is just a mess of red tape though which can only be relied upon to fail to deliver.
  14. They subsidise it NOW without even owning it! With that being the case, quite why you think they'd profiteer off it I don't know. Companies are making massive profits and paying dividends to shareholders while the taxpayer is still paying. Anyway, Jeremy will just print more money
  15. 60% is not LOL votes. He won by a landslide. Also, when are we actually going to use our nukes? Why do we need them? Total waste of money. We can't use them without USA permission and they have 7,000 of them compared to our 250 or so. Might as well get them to use theirs. Even France has more than us. Plus if we ever fired any, we'd be dead.
