  1. To clarify, I had a 1.9m trade sent to me, which I put $1m back into the market with a uranium alliance trade.  Now it's gone.  Shouldn't the cash be returned if they win a attack "cancelling" the trade?

If you get an Immense Triumph Ground Battle you have a 20% chance of cancelling all your opponent's trades.

If this game is so awful as to make trades just disappear, then you should scrap the whole thing.

And for the love of all that's good, please delete my nation.  I can't do it since I keep getting declared on.

  2. Yeah Zots maybe if you did something other then complain about our raiding while at the same time trying to declare on GC/VoC nations we would stop hitting you. But no your just a complaining nincompoop.

Not the brightest tool in the shed are ya.  And I can't delete until people stop declaring on me.  As long as you declare on me, I'm going to defend myself and declare wars back.  There is a pretty simple solution bro.

  3. If you guys want to have an OOC discussion, please make a new topic in an OOC forum.

lol, why do you keep trying to make this OOC.  We don't like you IC for what you are doing IC to this world.  And hopefully you eventually face IC consequences.

My personal issues for leaving this world are more to do with my resources magically disappearing and all the hard work I put into obtaining them combined with a style of war that favors bullies like VoC and doesn't even offer any checks or underdog bonses like a nuke or other dmg that happens in other world's war system for example.

  4. I wouldn't mind getting pummelled up a bit if I knew I could horde cash for the rebuilding.  Blockades have removed that, so you have to spend it all.  In my case of course my cash was all gone due to the bug, but even fixing it still means that there is no reason to play since I can't even plan for a war.   What's the point of saving if he will get raided post-blockade?

You have go make raiding somewhat costly.  Good raiding system encourages activity, which is the one counterbalance to raiding.  What you need a nuke option really.  Something that will make people decide if the risk is worth it.  Right now, you are stupid not to raid like a madman.  As you can build a very large nation quickly if you are in the right alliance.

When we fought UPN there were nice little exploits.  If you got owned on the ground, you could own someone in the air and have a fighting chance.  In my case I focused on navy....at least I could blockade and do some dmg.  I didn't know that now planes can even take out ships.  So there is no balance......all you need is a ton of troops...end of story.  Even when I had enough planes to mount a counter-attack...my planes were at 50% b/c I didn't have ground success.

The way to actually balance it is to make ships, planes, ground all independent like in (That terrible game that is totally irrelevant and I shouldn't be bringing it up anyways).  That way you can at least air attack if you don't want to carry 50K troops all the time.  Or you can have some ships, etc.

I really did like the game...wouldn't waste so much time replying.  But just about every single tweak in the last month or two has made the came worse, imo.  You can't control politics and you shouldn't.  But you should create an underdog bonus in some way like the nuke option in (That terrible game that is totally irrelevant and I shouldn't be bringing it up anyways).

  5. So this is going to come off as a bit butthurt, but really just more of a suggestion.  You keep making the war system worse.  When I fought about 40 wars during PC-UPN I had a lot of fun, war was good, pretty balanced.  Now it's terrible.  Once you are down...you are out.  No counter attacks, nothing.  Blockaded, worthless.  Few exploits that give skilled fighters an advantage.  Now it's just 100% brute dumb force.  Not much fun.  Given how this game politically is situated it makes the war system even worse.  If you are not Guardian, SK, or VoC you might as well quit playing unless you like playing a small nation forever (maybe GPA too, but my guess is VoC will raid them when the time is right).  And since there are no wonders there is absolutely no way to have an advantage of being a wonderered-out powerful low-tier nation like you can in (That terrible game that is totally irrelevant and I shouldn't be bringing it up anyways).  The only thing you can have is more cities that don't get taken away.  But that's not really enough.

    Onto the bug report...

I was blockaded, raided...it's part of the game.  Was going to have a good time with it, but then coward VoC guy brought in two friends when I wouldn't peace out, lol.  Again, that's how it goes.  No complaints here  The problem is the bug that hit my nation before.  The bug where cash or munitions I had in pending trades just disappeared.  Sheepy corrected it I thought, gave me back the munitions.  But now it's back.  I had 2.5M in cash in alliance trades, 15,000 in food, and 1500 in munitions stored away.  Now I looked at the numbers and 2.5M of it was not raided.  I saw about 500-600,000 at most.  So it's gone due too a bug.  None of the pending trades were returned to my nation... they are just gone.  15,000 food from like 75-100 trades....gone.  Then of course there is the 1400-1500 munitions.  All gone, what's the point of playing if my trade-market work get taken away all the time?  Most fun part of the game, imo.  But now it's so buggy it's dangerous to use it.

So you have a major bug, and you've made all the little nice exploits in the war system go away so that now there is no reason to play if you aren't in those three alliances.  In your efforts to make things balanced, you made it totally unbalanced and one-sided.  You cannot control the political environment, but you can give the underdog a fighting chance to at least inflict enough dmg to discourage raiders from raiding active nations.  With blockades I can't even store cash away to rebuild after the war.

The game is called politics and war.  Lots of war I get it, but the beauty of (That terrible game that is totally irrelevant and I shouldn't be bringing it up anyways) is you don't have war then you have great wars with strategy for a time that is somewhat mutually destructive.  In this game, it's extremely profitable to just raid the hell out of anyone not protected, so you are going to run out 75-85% or so of your potential members, all because they can't even build a nation.

I wouldn't write a book here if I didn't think this game had potential.  I really really liked the game before all the changes were made to the war system.  It's a shame...hope you fix the bugs and all the other stuff.

For now can you delete my nation?  I'd delete it on my own, but I guess I can't right now.  Thanks!

  6. Any plans to shift the inactive players over to the new revenue system soon? Nobody wages war when there's no guarantee for profit, and without wars the market is dead. Since I made the mistake of going for production instead of commerce, I'm kind of hoping you'll either make wars profitable or have buildings require resource to build.

Excellent question.  It's amazing what it does to the market when even a few alliances are at war.  No treaties, not wars = no fun.

  7. One was open for a few weeks and the last one it was maybe a week.  I know I did one for 180 muntions, hide it in the market.  Now I can't find it anywhere.  Something like an alliance trade of 180 for like 6m or something insanely high.
