Abortion (Limited) Same-Sex Marriage (Yes) Only recently had same-sex marriage been allowed in Cyprus due to pressure from other European countries in 1984 – most laws of the old Republic of Cyprus Constitution (pre-enosis) had been moved to the new Constitution. Same-sex couples still must go through conscription. Adoption of children is not allowed for same-sex couples, married or not. Women's Rights (Yes) Welfare (Some) Social Security (Yes) LGBT Rights/Protection (Yes) See "Same-sex Marriages". Capital Punishment/Death Penalty (No) While capital punishment had initially been banned in pre-enosis Cyprus, the Second Republic had allowed the death penalty in special occasions, such as acts of terrorism or treason to the Cyprus government; even so it must be approved by the Assembly. As of far there has been no executions. Animal Rights/Protection (Some) Animal abuse is considered a crime, but the government does not specifically do anything toward abandoned or stray pets. Specific areas of Cyprus are considered protected wildlife zones, and logging or herding is not allowed there. Legal Prostitution (No) Legal Use of Marijuana (No) Using marijuana is a serious crime. Legal Use of Drugs/Narcotics (Limited) Religious Liberties (Yes)

  5. Pfft, how can you be a true military state without aircraft and tanks? No need for spies when you can blast away at other nations openly! Only cowards remain covert! [ Moar warmongering plz. ]
  6. Fascism is pretty much radical authoritativeness, ultra-nationalism, and militarism. If anything they're extremely anti-communist, or anti-liberal for that matter. (( Extra note: Didn't stop any "fascist" governments from contradicting themselves, though. ))
