  1. I love this idea, color bloc used to be a bigger factor not so long ago. Just a year ago (5th of july 2021) this is what color blocs looked like:

A pretty big difference compared to them now:

Maybe if we wanted to make it less harsh for smaller alliances/players we could make the color bloc income easier to acquire than it is now up to a certain level (50k?), and after that point it's the same mechanic as it is now. I strongly support the uncapped color bloc, or at least increase the cap to something like 150k, because imo we should reward alliances' efforts to increase the income and police the bloc

I think any war arising between 2 or more spheres where treaties are activated and unequivocally impacting Orbis on the whole i.e. market impacts, political alignment alterations etc, is sufficient to label it a global.

In my opinion "Global" should be used less frequetly rather than more, it should be an elite title used in special occasions, such as when literally most of the game is involved and the political impact is NOT negligible. We can label other big wars as major wars, since they still are quite big, but not as big or impactful.

There should be three labels for a war, either global, major or minor conflict.

Using your definition, would you label a HM vs Jhonsons war global? When literally no bloc militarised? What about the Brethren Court vs CamSphere(Sol-Fso + allies vs cam+protectorates) they are technically two blocs, would you say it was a global?

It's beautiful; not just the clock, but, the overall concept of it. Time, slowly ticking away, second by second, day by day. It's unrelenting, unending, and has no thought, opinion, or bias. It ticks away, all the same. This clock in particular is a work of art. It defies common convention, and makes the viewer wonder, "where will I be, when the clock keeps ticking". Truthfully though, there is no answer, for we are all unimportant, and as our lives pass us by, the clock, well... the clock will always, keep ticking.

I like your clock because it has a map in it. Although I'd get distracted by the map and would not be able to read the time

  4. I agree that UP and AUP are catch up projects, mostly because after a certain city count 150M$ less is not what's making a difference when cities cost billions. But tbh, I'd make them less expensive, so they can serve their purpose better. Just imagine a small alliance, that can choose between funding its member 4/5 cities or a project, the choice is obvious

Right now UP+AUP helps you to tier up to c20-c22, the next project should aim to tier to like c28-c30 imo

  5. Instead of permanently destroy a city, the nuke could have a chance of "disabling" the city. For a number set of turns the city won't produce anything, nor supply any military unit. Score will remain the same. This would momentarily make for example a c20 a c19. It can be cumulative, although I'm not sure if it should be capped at let's say 20% of your city count, because at lower tiers one city matters more than at higher tiers.

Although this should also come with a VDS buff imo, even just a 10% buff would make a difference, or implement a new war policy, idk. This way tho nukes will also have a military impact instead of just having an economic one.

Maybe some of the smaller spheres, if they are concerned about getting rolled, can sign prots within larger spheres. You can't have both safely and independence just as you can't have your cake and eat it to.

I kinda like the idea of a sphere being the protector of another. Just like a protectorate treaty. I expect only the smallest sphere(s) will want to do that, for example the Johnsons. That way the small spheres can fell safer, although, if a bloc doesn't work, you may as well disband it and look for a better home

  7. I think it'd be more interesting if the UN has impacts on the game.

But instead of voting for some random bills like "animals can't be named after..." or "guns will be prohibited..." and instead vote/discuss embargoes or other kinds of punishment in case an alliance breaks NAP, or poaches memebers, gets involved in a war without a CB, is harassing players etc. Etc.

A way to condemn or even praise some alliances' behavior

Here's mine, I used the C tier as the "average", plus some of those alliances I know too little about, so I put them in C tier.
This is the overall ranking, and I'll admit that some of those are in their respective tier mainly because of "sentiment", such as "They seem cool, they must be A tier".
