OOC: Damn, I really forgot about all this content! I have a real blog, about real politics here if any of you are willing to take a look.
https://worldofchapsie.com/
I'll work on my RP content here again soon enough.
This post is solely for the clear understanding of pacts and treaties that the Federation of Nova Scotia has made explicitly.
The Third Bloc
- Tyro Lief of Athretvari
- Prezyan of Narvan
- Chappie Tetrevaal of Nova Scotia
We've opened embassies in which our foreign emissaries deal with foreign matters in such countries (Keep in mind this is in no way a binding pact, but purely an embassy):
- Tyro Lief of Athretvari
- Prezyan of Narvan
- Zafrizachary of Sweden
- Eva-Beatrice of Rokkenjima
- Andrezj Kolarov of the People's Republic of Velika
Embassies are free for request and are always welcome assuming they're approved. Although, pacts and alliances are not just a reply away, they require discussions and talks on how to post and execute such an alliance.
Hey guys, I am going to be changing my RP style. I will essentially be acting more like what he would act like if you've seen the movie. At least around the end of the movie. More so just adopting his persona rather than just acting as a stereotypical political leader with general mannerisms.
I will be using slangs as he does but I will still be rather smart in my decisions. My text will be italicized if I am talking as the government, but otherwise any other text would be coming from Chappie himself.
As it stands, the Nova Scotian Federation does not recognize foreign waters in properly international zones. As the freedom of the sea promotes trade, countries that block off trade to certain parts of the world via boundaries and tariffs are formally not recognized by trade vessels of the NSF. Saying this, we will enforce our beliefs in the free and open international waters by accompanying trade vessels (now fleets to keep the cargo safe from terrorists) with at least 2 naval ships.
The people of Nova Scotia and the government think it fine to extend our area of influence towards it's final goals for the homeland. Furthermore, we are extending that influence towards the island of Newfoundland, in which will be taken for our own. We decided that Greenland was not worth the effort at the moment, and the colony there is suffice to stay as is.
Questions and concerns are appreciated in this public forum. Plans for further expansion are on the table, as we are limiting ourselves to a small area.
A war in which reshaped not only the Green Protection Agency, but also Nova Scotia. Being in the front lines of our very own country it had taken a toll on our citizens. We've hardened and learned to cope from last year's traumatic experiences.
We were invaded by a coalition in which the largest alliances in orbis were a part of. Casus Belli's against us were in the form of questioning our neutrality as an alliance.
No matter how shakey the CB sounded, the alliances at the time were in the state of political stagnation or had... "blue balls," so to speak and were itching to fight a war. People also did not like the fact that we were at the top of the leader boards either.
However we remain strong, and through that, so does Nova Scotia!
May we never repeat the same mistakes our old government did.
Because now, if you f**k with the Chappie, you f**k with the Scotians.
I believe it is needless to say that we will be readying our soldiers in any case. Training has started long ago, and many are at the ready to defend our nation in case of a war.
Patrick Lynch, our former leader is stepping down as the Prime Minister of the country for an unknown reason. Some say that it was for pursuit of something greater in life, others say he's tired of politics. The only one who truly knows is this Chappie character, he declined to comment, stating: "Chappie wants to think."
To be fair, he does have a very large job ahead of him. Leading the Scotians to the expectations of Patrick's capabilities will be a hard job to tackle. However our former leader put his full trust in this lad, not commenting either besides "I've left for an obscure reason, one that is beyond even that of my sight. I just know something needs to be done and I cannot disclose anything in my absence."
We've heard of his past in South Africa...
...However, he has changed in the many years following. Went into politics, and is now officially to quote...
Tie Loupez, famous actor from Bridgewater, who has played ironically in "The fraud", and "Rita's Plan", has been found to be at the top of a Ponzi scheme. Authorities from the NSIA have been tracking a fraudulent company for a long time now, with no traction until recently. The actor posted a video on YouTube of himself showing off a bunch of cars and other luxurious things, seemingly unrelated to this particular incident. However he was shooting this video in front of a wall with many posters and informative texts on it. It would have been ineligible if the video was not in 1080p.
The information showed a business poster of a corporation that had already been busted by the police, and federal agents. The placeholder business that was already busted was connected to another corporate account. There was no evidence that the company in question had anything to do with the one before besides small investments, and questioning the currently active company gave rise to nothing. However, this company was also on that wall, with a string attaching the two. The Illuminati was also one of the symbols on the page, but it was only connected to a few news articles in which were unreadable.
Many people have already stated that he was in the Illuminati because of all his new found wealth, and burst of fame in the industry. However his real source of income, was mostly a part of this placeholder corporate management company that collected investments and gave "returns" to the investor with the most seniority. However, at it's peak, it started gaining traction as a successful company and they attempted to downscale. A hit to many small-time investors caused them to start complaining to government regulation agencies. Claims were overwhelming, but the government couldn't do anything until it had proof of misconduct.
The NSIA attempted to make placeholder investors, however nothing fraudulent was found. The government was getting desperate, and this evidence is exactly what the government needed to gather more information on the subject.
The actor is now in custody after copious amount of federal background investigation into the company, and into Eric's past and is now being thoroughly questioned. The assets of him, and the corporation have been frozen for the time being until they can completely deduce the case.
On December 9th 1998, a few weeks after the nuclear detonation on the city of Halifax, crime rates have raised substantially. Stability has gone back up since the incident and after the complete rebuilding of the city, in which is all restored aside from the cleanup. The remaining fallout still requires attention in some cordoned off parts of the city. Parts of instability still remain as all public services are regathering. Some crimes like these are slipping through the cracks.
An unknown man in the downtown Halifax region managed to sneak into the docks in which many navy ships are held. He managed to do some considerable damage to the deck of one "mothballed" ship in which was under restoration after the nuclear strike. Some construction materials by the ships edge were put aflame and destroyed. Molotov cocktails were used and thrown all throughout the site, however the supplies are the only item on the deck destroyed.
HRPD detectives are working with the NSIA to attempt and track any more suspicious activity in the city. Many police officials say that this incident may have ties to larger organizations, but others say that it was a random act of violence. With such crude methods of violence, most are not worried about the capabilities of who or whatever was behind this, if anyone.
The Liberal Party The Liberal Party of Nova Scotia has 200 members, one for every riding in the nation. The Liberals are currently the most influential party, but certainly not a majority. The more liberal views of Nova Scotian's almost guarantees many seats for the party.
The Socialist Party The Socialist Party of Nova has 200 members. This party is the oldest party out of all of them. With the very socialist based economy and practices in government, this gains the members an edge in the vote. The experience also gains lots of trust from citizens.
The Acadian Bloc The Acadian Bloc of Nova Scotia has 113 members. The party only operates in traditional Acadian lands like Shubenacadie, Annapolis, Acadia, and beyond into Old Bruswick. The Acadian Bloc is a very cultural based party and has large amounts of support from the French Nova Scotians. Some say this party advocates for independence and separatism, however they deny such claims.
The Welsh Labour Party The Welsh Labour Party has 89 members. This party is the smallest aside from the independents or parties that do not hold seats in Parliament. However this party is still very influential and sparked the movements within Nova Scotia to change the flag and accommodate the culture of the large Welsh Population.
Nova Scotia Atlantic News: Spy Op's in The Colonies - Newfoundland
A lone spy by the name of Alexander will sent to Newfoundland today as a Government Imperial Located-Listener (GILL for short). I.e: Someone who surveys the needs, and wants of the people for the government by partaking in political discussions with normal people on a casual level. So essentially this gentleman will be doing the first ever trek to the colony of Newfoundland to gauge public interest of government interventions on particular issues. He will be responsible too for collecting information on foreign action inside of Newfoundland such as; counterspy workings, hostile faction centralization, and general anti-government sympathizing. As far as the Federation knows, there is very minimal hostile activity in Newfoundland, although they can't be certain, and that is exactly why Alexander will be sent in to audit the colony.
His workings in Newfoundland will change the way Nova Scotia govern's the colony, and depending on what the government finds out, it may even be swayed to change their title. As The NSF is a rather deceiving title seeing as they have colonies all over the world. It would be fitting to declare themselves an Imperial Federation. As there is no semblance of a democracy in place right now, it would be misleading to even dare call themselves a Federal Republic. So that may be a product of this program, although who knows.
Freedom of speech in a government run Media outlet is a rather strange thing no?
But every once and awhile, I like to admire the artists that take time to create nice images for me. This portrait shows strength that I know Nova Scotia has.
I too like to paint, my mother showed me.
But anyway, this was an informal update from the proud leader of Nova Scotia.
did not care for the new national anthem that came with Chappie's rise. It was democratically voted away via petition and proceeding to a federal governmental discussion then a vote took place. The yield of the vote was 3:1. As there was no emotion, or feeling to the anthem people disliked it. Promptly, the people of Nova Scotia are looking to find a new anthem, one to call their own and to represent our citizens proudly.
We have many a great composers in Nova Scotia, maybe we'll make our very own. However, for now we will have to have a placeholder. The most Nova Scotian you'll hear honestly, a common sound in bars and stuff.
NS culture has moved quite dramatically over the years in many aspects, but our taste in music dates back to the old sailors that basically lived off the coast and of our settlers.
A Classic Display of Force by the Nova Scotian Military
As pirates continue to stalk the waters of Nova Scotia's allied states, the government is once again flexing the power of its military. This "Flexation" helps quite a bit to be frank, not a vessel has been seen within Nova Scotia's borders. Whether this is due to the demonstrations or not is unknown. However things are getting a little batty out there folks. It's been heard that pirates have been raiding allied nations for a few years now with no sign of stopping, butt recent attacks have taken to the worse for our fellow friends all over, bringing them to their innocent knees all for a quick buck. Jimmies are being rustled with all that is going on, as the only real end to these conflicts as of late are white peaces, or getting "beiged" with resources being sent back after the war.
People don't want their steel stockpiles back as much as they want their friends and family to be alive, and this disgruntlement is showing. Even though wars have not reached the borders (aside the outlier of a nuke we received in a freak experiment), Nova Scotia is receiving an influx of refugees looking for a safe haven from the fighting. They seek safety and a home that is safe from war. The military is more than a deterrent, as it's also training on humanitarian efforts too. It'll help our allies that are suffering from wars, by take the stress off of the suffering populations, giving family's warm welcoming homes.
Aside from that, tensions between the pirates and the NSF is causing the waters to ripple with the pent up anger of Scotians all over the nation. If you f*** with the 902, navies will fall, planes will crash, tanks will blow, and men will be torn apart.
