Did someone go to Dinosaur World for that photo or what?

Divorces, sadly, are often messy affairs with a lot of broken promises and people imagining things to have been different than they were so that one can feel better going forward. Sometimes, even, people reflect on their mistakes and learn some good lessons to make their lives better going forward. I hope that happens here.

I would hope at least that this post can prompt a larger conversation on the sort of toxicity that can result when people engage in political rhetoric merely to say "our side good" rather than to have a consistent approach that, whether others agree with it or not, they can at least respect as coming from a genuine and principled point of view. It would be somewhat disheartening to see such obvious effort as the original poster showed simply be read for a few lines that people might wish to reject because they dislike what it implies without the entire message being taken to heart and discussed in an honest fashion. Like many of the people who have replied already, I agree with a lot of what I read, and at the same time I am aware that there are those who disagree for one reason or another but who should be invited yet again to give a well-thought out and reasoned disagreement that allows us to see what sort of principles are held by those who are being called to account here.

Interesting peace deal. I must say that getting people off of one's color and having a short NAP is an interesting approach.

Life comes at you fast. I generally agree with the comments on this post. There are certainly ways that you can survive and thrive as a micro--staying active, finding a niche, developing a community and a distinctive identity all help. Getting good at the game mechanics and working hard can help a lot. I'm pretty sure that no one wants to see people complaining that "life is hard," though. There's plenty of ways one can play this game well and build the respect of others, and hopefully you can stick it out and develop your skills and get the respect of your fellow players, who will respect you no matter how big of an alliance you happen to be a part of.

No one's stopping you, though they may counter you :D.
