Introduction

In this war, the Legion, and not only the Legion but everyone associated with them lost the battle. But amidst the large empires, republics, and established countries, Cossackia was different. After the untimely start of the war, the Premier returned to a nation dragged into war. During this time, Karla and Karlina had been leading the defensives throughout the war. When the first attacks ended, the Soyokovs were welcomed as heroes, the saviors of the country that was the last bastion of Soviet culture.

Instead of a revenge attack, Cossackia has devoted itself to its defense. Thanks to international support, Cossackia was a hot topic for established nations, aside from Sudan and Ukraine. When defending their country, Cossackia stood out from the rest. Without outside military assistance, except for the Philippines, Cossackia held off every destructive offensive and siege. More than ever before, Cossackia's people are committed to defending an invasion against the unprovoked nation.

In this editorial, you will see writings made by Karla Soyokov. Here are some of the memorabilia made in honor of what would be dubbed as "The Lightshade War."

Cossackia is at war once again, and our Armed Forces are once again successfully defending our homes and our land. The Army, Marines, Tankists, and Artillerymen defended our cities to the last man. We repelled all Blitz attacks on our cities, we defend like never before. The Navy and Coast Guard, with renewed resolve, successfully sank all shipping to Gondolin and are currently on the offensive at Matras. The Militsiya, Partisans, Honor Guards, and Border Troops have successfully protected Cossackia's people. Filipinos, Cebuanos, Russians, Ukrainians, Poles, Germans, Chinese, Cantonese, Hokkienese, Bangsamoros, etc.

But amid all the victories, on May 29, 2023, the mighty Air Force sacrificed itself for our country. Not wasting the opportunity to lose aircraft for nothing, I accepted the orders to at least dogfight and airstrike anyone that threatens our Blue Skies. Sokolov, Soyokov, Komi, Bella, and some volunteers from the Adelie Squadron; all of the squadrons participating in this war have gladly risked their lives to save our country. Around hundreds of our Aces and WSOs have been missing or killed in action. Most of our newly developed aircraft barely made it back to their bases, but they proved useful and more modern against the invading air forces. Our helicopters meanwhile fared better as they were supporting the ground troops defending our land.

I would like to take this time to ask you to give respect our aviators deserved. Just like the Angels of Gracemeria, blessed by our one true God, and with Mobius, Cipher, and Three Strikes instilled in my heart, they have carried the entire war on their backs and shoulders. May this be known to all; that the Cossackian Air Force will forever be enshrined as not only the most popular military branch but also the most fearsome adversary to any foe. Cossackia is like Yuktobania, a Slavic nation obsessed with air superiority. And with that thought, we seek peace and prosperity not only for us but for everyone. That’s what it is like for me, that this war and all other wars before it was reminiscent of Ace Combat, to be frank.

To end my eulogy, I would like to give my finest regards to the families of the fallen aviators. May their just cause and efforts that they gave justice to tirelessly not end in vain.

Ode to the Victory over Isengard and the Martyrdom of the Valiant Fleet

On that fateful day on May 28, 2023, the only victory of the war that gave us a fighting chance to survive was conducted by the Valiant Fleet. The Cossackian Navy and Coast Guards have been begging me for a blockade of the enemy fleet and to cease their shipment of important supplies that will fuel their hatred for us. So, with the help of the Admirals and the collective wisdom that we gathered, we have finally coordinated the attack on Gondolin. We headed for Isengard, and so history was written.

The ships that were involved were the carriers Karlina Soyokova and Trisha Maravilyasova, the missile destroyer Thamira Todinyova, the nuclear submarine Yerayina Agostova, and the nuclear submarine carrier Bella Soyokova. Those were the lead carriers and submarines that were in charge of the assault. Following them were Akane the Red and Violet the Great. Both are missile destroyers. The Bella, Karlina, and Trisha Squadrons were instrumental in the assault as they were fighter jets in the sky.

After we arrived at Isengard, our submarines were able to go under and bypass the water minefield, then we began to go over and proceeded with the attack. In all honesty, the Gondolinian Navy stood no chance against our mostly-submarine fleet. They were all at anchor and caught off guard. During the assault, we sent our Marines to neutralize the harbor as they landed on the nearby coast thanks to the Trisha. Karlina, Trisha, and Bella were tirelessly resupplying the attacking aircraft.

Meanwhile, the Thamira was leading all the destroyers to launch their cruise missiles. And when they saturated the targeted harbor, they turned their sides toward the combat area and started to fire their formidable autocannons. The autocannons were firing at the harbor, mercilessly they took down all of their infrastructure to prevent them from building any more ships and submarines of their own.

This went on for 2 hours, and once the Air Force and Navy on the opposite side ceased any efforts to reinforce their hopelessness, the Marines finally stormed the harbor warehouse complex and raised the Cossackian flag over the field. We were victorious. What followed was an epic stand of charging Gondolinian infantry against the Cossackian Marines who were holding their position. That was the Victory at Isengard.

But on this day, our Valiant Fleet was harassed by the impostor Philippine Navy of Savant. They were attacking under the Philippine flag as their ensign, and even with all that we had at that point, we were forced to retreat. That was the plan after Isengard, as we have to hide all the ships in their safehouses for storage. In the chaos, most of our ships and submarines were either destroyed or damaged. Sadly, all the lead vessels during Isengard were affected. In such an instance, the Karlina suffered heavy damage in its hull, but the Trisha suffered worse. The engines in the Trisha Maravilyasova stopped working due to heavy damage from enemy fire. It had to be tugged by the incoming Coast Guard tugboats while the crew was panicking to keep the water out from ballasting the ship into the sinking. Luckily, and I stress luckily, all the lead vessels were not sunk, only that their engines stopped working and that their hulls were dinged up. Most of the aircraft stored were destroyed, and some of its pilots and WSO were injured, missing, or killed. The only lead ship that ever sank was the Violet the Great destroyer, and as of now, we are drawing up plans to recover the sunken vessel for restoration and recommission.

The assault cost us 5,000 lives lost, another 1,000 injured, and another thousand missing during the ambush led by the fake Philippine Navy of Savant. But even if we didn’t gain anything, what we ever gained was the blockade of Gondolin for 2 days! Imagine that! 2 days were enough to lessen the carnage brought to our country, and only one of the three invading nations wasn’t able to get their hands on desperate supplies. Only to be stopped by a fake Philippine Navy.

To conclude my eulogy, I also want to pay my respects once again to the aviators, who have displayed their prowess in their dogfights over our skies to keep us safe. Let us give our dear Coast Guardsmen and Sailors their share of respect this time, as they give as much pride to our nation as the Air Force. They brought honor to us with ships named after the people I liked. We send our condolences and regards to all relatives and families of the fallen and the fallen themselves. We thank your service to our country, and we also apologize for the irreplaceable lives that we lost on the way to our victory. We are sorry.

Tribute to the Defenders of the Iligan Steel Mill

The war was only limited to Cossackia, as the invading nations of Matras, Gondolin, Cakalistan, and Savant didn’t want to trigger a military response from the Philippines. But it just so happened that this was not the case any longer. To gain more steel for our armored vehicles and sea vessels, Cossackia’s only link to Legion was the Iligan Steel Mill, which was not in use after 2009 during the Arroyo administration. This steel mill was outside Cossackia, but the Philippines allowed us access to take the steel for our use. The Philippine Armed Forces in Iligan were on standby due to the increasingly attritional nature of this war.

But on one fateful day during a routine assault at Abingrad by the enemy forces, it was notified to us that the enemy will storm the Iligan Steel Mill to neutralize our steel supply. So, because we have enough soldiers, tanks, and artillery — surprisingly neither of them was greatly affected by the war so far — we sent our ground troops to the said steel mill. By now I’m certain that we were blockaded, but we still had to defend it. And so, the Defense for the Iligan Steel Mill was being written into history.

On May 30, the day of the blockade, enemy troops have begun to storm the Iligan Steel Mill in coordination with Savant and its fake Philippine Navy. Savant’s presence confused our soldiers, as we have to be careful of the presence of the actual Philippine Armed Forces in the area. We were able to get to the steel mill and established defensive positions there. And we were met by Gondolinian, Cakalis, Savant, and Matras joint assaults. I could imagine what uniforms were they wearing in the haste of not using the uniforms fit for the surrounding forest and ocean area. But our men wore uniforms better for the surrounding environment, and so they were not only limited to defending the steel mill.

Over time, the enemy sent in everything they can throw at us. When they called in for more reinforcements, they are only asking for more meat for the meat grinder. We suffered heavy casualties alright, but it is not equal to the storming enemy that wastes their manpower over the steel mill. And our men were wounded, not killed, though some were killed during the firefight. When they called in for naval artillery, there was nothing they can do. Our artillery at the seaside overlooks the entire bay, and this poses grave danger to the opposing ships. So when the enemy ships fire at us, coastal artillery can easily fire back while using the buildings and dugouts as cover with great ease. Though submarines were the problem, later we will tell you what we used for the next scenario. When they called in airstrikes, they can’t just airstrike anywhere as they wanted to capture the steel mill intact. Sure they can send in attack aircraft or helicopters, but we also brought missiles. The Hernandez SAM trucks were in charge of not only anti-air warfare but also anti-submarine warfare. Because of the cover we used, they cannot fire upon the warehouses, nor can the submarines make up what the target is. In addition, we also used the missiles to occasionally mortar fire at the entrenched enemy. Hell, they even proposed that they use missiles and nuclear weapons, but that will render their objectives useless. We heard this, especially from our men, who sneak into enemy lines and behind them and overhear enemy conversations.

The siege was reminiscent of Ukraine’s Azovstal, in the Battle of Mariupol, which lasted for a few months, if my memory serves me well. But the Ukrainians lost Mariupol and therefore lost their steel plant. It was the result of the Azov Regiment surrendering to Russia. But unlike Ukraine, Cossackia is not motivated by hatred against Russia and joining the EU and NATO. We already hold observer status in the EU and NATO. And instead of surrendering, we achieved victory.

And on May 31, 2023, troops from Abingrad were pressing forward as the defense was successful and now they were reinforcing the troops at Iligan. It was then that the Philippines joined the fight against the invaders, with Savant’s troops hopelessly mixing in with our Filipino comrades to sow hatred. But when the Iligan garrison found out about the invader’s ploy to capture the steel mill, that’s when they joined. And due to the war's exhaustion, troops from Cakalistan, Matras, Savant, and Gondolin started plans for a full withdrawal from Cossackia. Cakalistan, which didn’t declare for the second time withdrew its remaining troops from the scene. Then Savant, Matras, and finally Gondolin. The siege lasted for 2 days, and although it was short, it was sheer hell for our troops who were there. But it was a cakewalk overall. And so, Legion successfully gave us the supplies needed, only that we forgot to order steel. Regardless, the enemy’s attempt to push their luck even further was an utter failure, and we got the supplies needed to rebuild.

This siege will be etched into our hearts eternally, as this was one of the only times that the Philippines helped Cossackia militarily. And all armored vehicles and personnel were almost intact, just enough to defend over and over again. I send my respect and thanks to the men and women stationed at Iligan to defend our only ground advantage in the war. They were able to push back the enemy, just like all our cities.

Pride Month Speech

Good evening Cossackians. Now, this message will be casual, so listen close. You know, we are going to lose a lot. So, I have finally authorized the use of nuclear weapons on our soil. Yes, it is Belkan, but it will be the only way to deter any threat to us. I now ask you to be aware of nearby nuclear shelters. Fallout, bomb, nuclear shelters, or bunkers. And we are sending in the Logistics Department to improve our shelters and bunkers. So I hope that you all know what to do.

Furthermore, we now ask for your support for us. So please, and I’m asking you, to support our Armed Forces. Conscription is now enforced all over the country, but the choice is definitely up to you. If you join because they tell you otherwise to join, it’s okay. If you don’t want to, it’s also okay. This is especially to people with families. So if you have a family, please do not join the military. Don’t join the military, you will put your families in a dangerous position. So, don’t join us, but rather care for your family’s safety. We don’t know if Cossackia will cease to exist and someone must continue being Cossackians.

Before I will start ending my speech, I would like to take this opportunity to greet you all Happy Pride Month. I salute all the members of the LGBTQ serving in the Armed Forces for giving their lives to true men and women. I also give my regards to your Prime Minister Karlina Soyokova, she is a bisexual. She finds it hard to find a boyfriend, so she likes- oh. That’s Carly over there.

She is planning something for me right now. She is kind and impartial, and she is always with me just like Mom was. 

Anyways, I also want to give you a message for all transgender parents. It’s a very special message. And it’s about your children being transgender. I saw this one video in a Facebook group that will change my view forever, and it’s about a young boy’s journey to becoming a “girl.” Unfortunately, he was very young and he wasn’t able to try being a boy for once in his only life. Instead, it was taken away by the transition to becoming a girl. My only message for you all is that please, do not change the gender of your child. It is not yours to change, let your child decide, and don’t force it upon him or her. God gave them the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to be a girl or boy, so please don’t take it away from them.

And my message for us straight people is to please, as much as possible not force the LGBTQ to be put back to their places. It’s their choice and their choice alone. Of course, I’m happy to be straight, long live the straight people. But please, let them be, and do not discriminate or force them to be straight. But rather, accept them while we maintain our mutual dominance over them. Of course, the relationship is girl-to-boy and boy-to-girl only. But then they become girl to girl, boy to boy. The boy wins the girl and then gets the boy, and the girl wins the boy and then gets the girl. Sometimes, girls want to be boys, boys want to be girls. But it’s their choice, and I haven’t mentioned that this is enshrined in the Constitution, so we can cope with the times and show acceptance.

And also, as a message to the LGBTQ, leave the problems to us. You don’t need to be at the top because we accept your minority in our country. But as much as possible, allow us straight people to dominate the country, because there will be no balance if everything is gay. Once again, Happy Pride Month, and you can still parade in the streets if you want to.

And as I will conclude my message, I would like everyone to please keep safe. Support our defense and our Armed Forces. Long live the Fatherland and his people. Long live the Motherland Philippines and her people. Glory to Cossackia. Glory to the heroes. Death to the invaders. Glory to us, and freedom over everything else. Cossackia above all else. May God bless us, may Allah bless us, and may any religious prophet and other gods bless us. Victory will be ours. Good night. Thank you.

After the wars that we have been through, I and all the fellow Ukrainians living through ask a question. Not only to everyone but to ourselves. Victory is achieved by death and sacrifice. Life, in exchange for victory. A willing nation of simple people, innocent and industrious. Such a nation is so powerful it outmatches our homeland by many things. It even holds the name of the Cossacks, no matter how truly Slavic they were, which they’re not. I cannot help but ask if Cossackia our Second Ukraine.

  • For Balkans, you may also come in.
  • For Baltics, you may also come in as the risk of Russian invasion is imminent.
  • For Russia, things get a bit complicated because of politics, we don't want KGBs.
  • For Ukraine and Belarus, you may come in.
  • For Donetsk, Lugansk, Crimea, North Ossetia, sorry but you are to remain where you are. However with special permission for individuals, yes you may come in.
  • For the Caucasus Bloc, move in as you please...but for Azerbaijanis...well...because you stole Armenian land things get complicated.
  • For Taiwan, Hong Kong, Tibet, Uyghurstan, Inner Mongolia, come in free of charge as 'fleeing immigrants'.
  • For North Korea, we are still negotiating if Kim Jong Un can at least make history by opening its borders with Cossackia. We also love Kim Jong Un and his actions, but not all his actions just his flexing of his power.
  • For South Korea and Japan, you may come in.
  • For mainland China, we will have to check you. We will have to complicate your processing because of imminent about-to-be-spies. We don't want the Chinese Intelligence in our soil.
  • For ASEAN, just show your passport and get inside. Easy!
  • For North America, sure come in.
  • For Mexico and Central America, also come in so you can feed your families.
  • For South America, we are a better working place than America. For now, settle here in Cossackia then go to the USA. I'm sure Biden is doing his job, well hopefully time will tell.

Pep Talk to the People

     Fellow Cossackians, I want to tell you all something today. Something that you are all aware of already. Me, as Premier, is still wanting to see action. Our army is large, however there are no opponents. We are getting more hate from the Anti-Gacha Community as a result to our actions. All I'm saying is we need to take action.

     We can't just sit down and wait for it to happen, we need it to happen. Why are the Anti-Gacha people not attacking us? Why don't they make a move? It's like as if they are cowardly bragging that they won the war. The war is not over yet, it will continue on for many months to make it to a decade. I still believe that Tommy Parky and his allies are not finished. I still believe that they won't show mercy. I still believe that the people he had spread his word to will come to us and fight.

     And if you still can't understand, our cause is this and it is written in our charters. The Gacha Community is becoming more oppressed because of the cringe, but people still believe that the community itself is not verminous. We became one of them when our good comrade Abby showed us Gacha Life. As we remained in the community, we all saw the writing in the wall. We saw all the violence, as in we saw all the chaos and fear it has. We then moved on from Gacha Life to Gacha Club to modernize. We then created this nation and established it, we swore that we will fight for the Gacha Community, that we will soon fight the imperialist ploys of the people.

     But even though we succeeded, and even got to a powerful alliance, not everyone seems to care as people assume that the Gacha Community is a so-called "cringefest." Most of the people living in Cossackia are Gacha, and not only that, Robloxians and Minecrafters lived together with them in harmony as they all realized to the great truth. We are here to fight for that cause, and we won't rest until Anti-Gachanism will disband. We see Anti-Gacha as !@#$ Germany, they are the fascists and the confederates that we despise.

     Simply put, we won't rest until we achieved one of our main aims. And I have haters in YouTube telling me negative things about Gacha. I am aware that talking about Gacha is taboo, but the Gacha Community is divided. That's why I am willing to stand up to them and express my thoughts. That's why I wanted to play a role in history, to become someone like a revolutionary like Vladimir Lenin. I wanted to help the people rise from their problems and troubles, so that people will no longer suffer the pain. 

     We, Cossackians, are a people of great bravery and confidence. We are people who won't give up and give in. We are those that stood up against larger nations. We do not hesitate to fight to the bitter end, even though if it means that our nation will be erased. Even though that we are treated like Jews. Even though we are looked down upon by our superiors. And as your leader, indisputable and glorious, I will set the example of our unity and of our unrelenting fight to our goals. I have the unanimous support of the people, because they knew that I have fought pollution, crime, and inequality. Because they knew that women get 50% of the Politburo Rada. Because they knew that our cause is just. Because they knew that we pursue happiness and liberty. Because they knew that we are all equal. And because I did the impossible.

     I know that I am crazy or insane, but we are all in this together my brothers and sisters. We can stay united to fight and to achieve. For we are glorious, strong, and free men. We are the people that want to play a part of history. We are the people that wanted to be heroes, to soon make everyone heroes. We are the people that fight for the rights of humanity. And we are the sacred East Oriental Slavic Austronesian people. We are blessed by God to guide us, for we live with him too.

     My fellow young citizens, never forget as well that Cossackia is not yet lost. It's not yet lost as the lands of the Poles, Ukrainians, and Jews. We will never be concussed by lies and slanders. Because I know that you will always be with me. God bless Cossackia. Thank you.

Denouncement of Cossackia by The Enclave

The Enclave, I want to understand why you denounced me. That's all I want to know. No problem we can be friends. Also we are not Communists, we are Socialists; and we are not just ordinary Socialists, we are Soyokovist Socialists. Marxist-Leninist/Stalinist Socialism is different from Soyokovist Socialism. We are neutral, and our neutrality, if not our fame is assured by my alliance and my people. I do agree with you though, Communism is a lie. Just look at mainland China, they're more of a mess. (Despite the fact that they did well so meh.) We don't mean harm, Cossackia won't be an aggressor. Peace be with you. Goodbye.

Privet Comrades,

          It seems that anti-Gacha factions are trying to get to our nation. They will try to attack us with no sign of remorse, surrender, or acknowledgment or recognition of our sovereignty, of the Gacha Community and ours'. They even try to convince to us that even though we have large numbers they will also try to outnumber us. But nothing to fear! We will make sure they can't go into Cossackia, they shall not slay the immigrants from other real-life nations that seek safe haven for their freedom and life. We will shout "URA!" and they will cross Cossackia with their own dead bodies. They will pay the price for their ignorance and selfishness, they will suffer the pain they throw at the Gacha people, and we will uphold our rights to our own promises and well-being.
          The Stalinist Anti-Gacha Faction declared war on us last March 25, 2021. They will taste the might of our wrath, the wrath of the hands of the young working and elite classes. Cossackians will stand ready to defend their Fatherland. We will crush their Fascist ploy and raise the Blue Banner like the Soviets who raised their Red Banner over Berlin!
          But since they don't play Politics & War, it's fine. The UTUBETROLLPOLICE and Anti-Gacha Factions can't hack us, neither can they attack us nor threaten us with their Imperialist Fascist stance. The Socialist will of the people will not falter. This speech will be broadcasted all over Cossackia, as a sign that we will stand on guard at all costs. We will be ready as we will be rushed over like Poland in 1939. We will fight to the bitter end, we will never surrender! We have fought with our White Rose Comrades against their enemies, we have stood up firm against hate, we have never fallen like a statue with no worth.
