  2. Thanks for reminding me, but I never forget my big burly ally in the Syndicate. @Agent W This one's for you: 05/28 11:55 pm - Hoosier Daddy declared war on Cowabunga for the reason of "t$ wants you off green!".
  3. I'd like to thank the academy. Happy to be apart of such a community engaging and innovative moment for our community. I'd like to thank Hollywood and Celestial leadership for letting me post this inspiring piece of news. I'd like to thank all of my fans in clock. I'd also like to thanks all of my fans in Backrooms, Johnsons, and all around the Orbis Community. They told me it couldn't be done, but here we are. I will accept this Award.
  4. My friend, we are not the ones who are mad. The sodium in this thread has forced my doctor to ban all sodium intake for the rest of my life. Good bye sweet popcorn.
  5. "The Peace in our Times Agreement" Preamble: In the interest of peace and mutual understanding, the two parties of Hollywood and Celestial enter into this agreement. Recognizing that at this time there is no Casus Belli between the two parties and as such in an effort to avoid a needless and causeless war, the two parties agree to enter into a mutual agreement of demilitarization. Article 1: The two parties, effective of the update of today, May 25th, in game time will demilitarize to the following MMR: 1/3/5/0 with the option for voluntary but not required 1 drydock per city based on the individual alliance's standard peacetime MMR. Article 2: Nations below c10 whose primary income source is raiding will not be affected by the limit of barracks in the standard MMR of this agreement and will be allowed a MMR of 5/3/5/0 or 5/3/5/1. Article 3: During this period of demilitarization in the face of the current ongoing global conflict, the parties pledge to come to the aid of the other if one party comes under the attack of a sphere that is already militarized. Article 4: This agreement will expire once the current spheres already engaged in hostility have rebuilt and returned to a standard peacetime MMR. Signed, Hollywood Sphere Leadership Celestial Sphere Leadership

  9. On your first point, re the concern about Clock block. If you are referring to the set of conversations had with Harry and then Luci and Harry... That concern was about Clock's aggressive nature. They had hit Oasis with Blackwater after the entire militarization of Cata and HoF, and our (right) expectation was that after hitting Oasis/Mysinc was that Cata was going to chain and hit either Hollywood or Rose sphere. We were rightfully concerned about that, but wasn't sure on whom was getting hit. You all lost that lottery unfortunately, but we thought we'd be eating that blitz up until it happened. There were grounds for concern. I have never once suggested that TKR is not one of the main drivers of politics. We know we are, and we acknowledge and embrace that role. We consider ourselves as one of the three principle drivers (TKR, t$, and Rose). Cataclysm/Eclipse as a duo is rapidly becoming a fourth driver. But this new block placed two of those principle drivers into the same sphere. No one in this newest sphere has a history of being a political driver, though I do agree with the sentiment that they now have a chance to spread their wings. It's my hope that they do become a political driver. Hollywood knows it's a political force, and that's why we consciously make the choices that we often do. Outside of the acquisition of Immortals, it is the only alliance we've brought into the sphere that wasn't a protectorate since our inception as a sphere. We've turned down multiple offers from quality alliances to join our sphere because we've been conscious of size concerns. We don't want to slide the game away from multipolarity. As for the points in this thread about Immortals. I think the context of the time is important to note. Oasis was imploding. You had just signed the Wei which you have conveniently neglected to leave off of your chart here. Clock had just signed IKEA which is also not on the charts. Oasis was dying and we had no idea where TPF, Immortals, UPN, Dark Brotherhood etc would land. Our noted deficit in the mid tier and lower tiers was getting worse, especially with you actively courting Immortals and us unsure of where other people were going to land.
  10. I don't know what you are talking about at the end there. I'd love some clarification on that. But as to the greater point of this post I think at least. Again, Rose and The Syndicate have been two of the principle drivers of politics and intrigue in this game. The comments on bipolarity are referring not to the size of the sphere/tiering, but on the amount of political intrigue and force now present in one sphere. Where as before that influence and political force was spread into two differing spheres. As Roberts said below, The Immortals helped us massively with our tiering problems in the lower and mid tier. Where we were getting massively beaten by Blackwater, and also beaten by Clock at the time. It's also quite ironic that Rose is hitting us for signing the Immortals here, when you all were desperately pursuing Immortals at the exact same time that we were and wanted to have them join Rosesphere, which again would've crushed our lower and mid tiers by another sphere. Funny how it's only such a bad thing for the game because you all didn't get to sign them. I also find it odd that you decided to leave off Rosesphere/Mile High Club as as sphere that was comparable to Clock/Hollywood/Bwater... Because ya'll were.
  11. Best announcement of the last few days for sure!
  12. Hollywood Execs Greenlight Film Exposing Local Cult A hot new local cult called Eden has got all of Hollywood abuzz. Rumors have it that the leader came all the way from Nassau with his cabal of loyal followers. Article I: Protection and Non-Aggression Reports are coming in that the executives at Radiant Motion Picture Group are protecting this new cult from local law enforcement. Anonymous sources claim that this is due to Eden's mountain of blackmail material they've collected by hosting lascivious parties for the execs. Article II. Aid and Assistance After some digging, one of our top reporters found that Radiant Motion Picture Group has opened a shell corporation to funnel funds into Eden's coffers, as well as giving them local tour guides to all the celebrities' homes so they can go door-to-door with the promise of Paradise. Article III. Intelligence Eden's leader must be a crafty, if mysterious, figure. He has reportedly used his influence to force the good people of Hollywood to turn over blackmail material on themselves as a sign of good faith! Risqué photos, drunk texts, even maps to various buried bodies have all been seen by our inside-investigators at one of Eden's "Paradise Parties." Eden has been reciprocating allegedly to their newfound high-level friends in Radiant Motion Picture Group and one can only guess as to the evil intent behind this symbiotic relationship. Article IV. In For Life Most shockingly, we've begun to hear disturbing reports of prominent members of Eden going missing overnight. Eden has been putting out that they are merely on vacation but we suspect the Kool Aid may have a special ingredient. Will the Kool Aid be drank? We tested some of it in our forensic lab and results have shown it can take up to 72 hours to "take effect." After weeks of investigative journalism, risking life and limb for the cau-... What? What do you mean it's just some dude at his house throwing parties? Why are you still writing this down? Ah, f--k it. Just publish what we have, we got deadlines to meet. tl;dr - TKR protects Eden signed for TKR: Wizel - King Morf - Queen Signed for Eden: Genderfluid Monarch - Adam Fae Prince - V
  13. No offense to Immortals, whom I have a ton of respect for and am quite fond of. But the idea of us signing Immortals as comparable to you signing Rose is just hilarious. The Immortals are high quality folks, I agree. But they are still a relatively new alliance (happy two years to the homies) who have been relatively passive in politics compared to Rose who is the largest alliance in the game and is a mover and shaker. This is like comparing apples to oranges. But again, even when we signed Immortals. Where the hell was this narrative that you guys are pushing now? You all had plenty of time to come and chat with us to share your concerns, to speak out about how you really felt about Grumpy etc. Instead you continued to tell us that you didn’t have a concern about Grumpy anymore, that you didn’t think they were crushing the game. All of your rhetoric on the topic died until you needed to dust it off to justify this particular consolidation of political power and influence.
  14. The problem is ya’ll are contradicting yourself at every turn you get the chance. Wana has stressed to me that is not an aggressive move against Hollywood, and i tend to take what WANA says at face value. He’s always been a straight shooter with me which I do appreciate. But again, WANA’s narrative here and many other movers and shakers in Ro$e sure seem to be contradicting one another. You say this is not about Grumpy and yet every argument against the massive consolidation of the c30 tier that you have made is rebutted by pointing to Grumpy and it’s control of the c40‘s. But yet… it’s not about Grumpy?? I do agree with the lack of quality alliances in the game; but there were moves available for you to make that didn’t include the tying together of the two biggest alliances outside of TKR that tend to move and shake politics for better or for worse (CATA has come on strong in this regard.) I get that you all feel that this was the best course of action for you all even if I disagree with it. But i do believe that this is a dangerous move that has started a dangerous slide back in the direction of bipolarity. Maybe Tripolaity if Clock decides they want to expand, but they’ll likely have to now in a drastic way in order to compete. EDIT: Nowhere did I say ya’ll were wanting to roll us btw so you can drop the whole “i expected betterof you” shtick anytime now.
  15. Hello friends, I'm just a little confused by this move and some of the reasoning I've heard the past week For the last several months, we've been told by The Syndicate that they don't think Grumpy is a problem anymore, that they've abandoned their crusade against Grumpy, that they feel the game is in a different place. It is confusing to me that all of a sudden once again Grumpy is an existential threat to the Meta etc. It is clear to me at this point, that you will never be satisfied until Grumpy and Guardian break apart or Grumpy disbands. You cry foul at the unstoppable threat of Grumpy's existence in the whale tier... And use that they've tied... The Immortals and TKR... as the justification for the two strongest alliances in the c30's tier signing a treaty together. I don't know if you've looked at the chart here my friends...The Immortals have an entire 2 cities above c32. TKR has 11 above the c32 mark. Your entire argument on why it's okay to merge 2 of the principle movers and shakers together is that "Hollywood" did it first. When in reality your entire argument is really that Grumpy exists and you'd likely be making the same argument if Grumpy went and joined Back Door or hell even Haunted Mansion. There are very few alliances who move the game forward. I'd argue about 4 or 5. You've just taken two of the biggest ones and merged them together out of fear of one alliance. And have slid this game on a dangerous slide towards bipolarity. And then you blame us, when all we've heard from you in the last few months was that you didn't consider us a threat anymore. You could've been honest with us about how you really felt about the tiering etc, but it's clear to me now that you were saying one thing externally while having an entire different stance internally on both accounts.
  16. or maybe just maybe it’s all of the t$ RON crew saying this actually exactly about Hollywood. But hey, gotta stunt on the forums right??
  17. So are we just going to ignore the part of the story here where you actively engaged in creating an internal fifth column of PIRU people and kept trying to stack elections and play up factionalism. It's really easy to point to the failing of an alliance and point the finger somewhere else and ignore the part of the story that actually got you fired and removed.
  18. And Camelot adds another war win to their perfect flawless never beaten record.
  19. Hello friends, It is, BigMorf, the Head of FA for The Knights Radiant. I want to reiterate what I've already said in some other places including our DM's. I appreciate the FA stance that you've attempted to establish with us. I appreciate your candidness with trying to move on from the past. But there is also that reality that one can't simply unilaterally decide that both parties should be over the same thing at the same time. I was honest with you when, I discussed my willingness to try and work past our past differences. However, I'm only a single part of the Hollywood apparatus. I will echo what I've said before. My hope is genuine that when this war is over, we can truly allow bygones to bygones and move forward. None of us want our two sphere's to constantly attack each other back and forth. That's boring for us and bad for the game. We have quite a bit of respect for you as I've said in our DM's. Here's to a good fun war where everyone has fun and we keep it positive. o7
