- I hereby step down as leader of Hogwarts and enter into a period of retirement.

Kosst Amojan (Seb) will be taking over from myself as leader of the alliance. The alliance will thus be rebranding (again) to Odyssey. 

 

I want to thank all those who have mentored, helped and worked along side me for the years I have played this game.

Preamble: 

Albus woke up from his sustained slumber - and saw far too many notifications from discord on his phone. Hurriedly, he unlocked his phone and saw that Hollywood had blitzed Celestial - mid-week. Glaring through his bushy eyebrows he also saw that he had been slotted by some members of Hand of Fate. 

‘What is this hearsay!’ Dumbledore said aloud. ‘Raiders, and Hollywood teaming up for a mid-week blitz under the guise of some raids from CoA!’ 

Dismayed at these tawdry actions, Albus leapt out of bed and immediately called his alliance to arms. 

TL;DR

Hogwarts thus declares war upon the alliances that call themselves Hollywood and Hand of Fate and wishes them the best of luck in the fight going forward.

Prologue:

 

Holmes quietly sat at his desk, surveying the room around him. On his desk were piles of paper and a dirty mug with a greying liquid inside. The Elder wand was left forlorn on the edge, perched as if to fall off.. An open letter sat in front of him, emblazoned with the wizarding symbol of the famous wizarding school. Holmes was a muggle, yes, but his intellect in a case had led him to discover the sorcercing world that lay hidden behind the veil of infallibility. He knew what he must do.

 

With a glug, he emptied the mug on his desk into his mouth. The fermented stench of Polyjuice potion rose up to greet Holmes like a gunshot and within moments he could feel himself changing and ageing. Hair erupted from his face and a mountain of dazzling white hair bounced to the ground. Turning around, he saw Dr and Mrs Watson (Thoma$ and Basebond) also change figures to Deputy Headmistress Minerva McGonagall and Deputy Headmistress Dolores Umbridge. C4, Issac the Gray and Peelsj stumbled out the toilet all clutching their stomachs as the figures of Gilderoy Lockhart, Pomona Sprout and the Head Goblin of Gringotts started to also take shape.

Hi Indger, how nice of you to pop in. Let's get one thing straight shall we (like I said before) - MHC and BW could not win a 1v1 against either CB or HW. This was clearly demonstrated in the recent globals. This is because of the rather large high tier that both CB and HW command.

It has also gone unchecked to quite a large degree the upsizing that CB and HW have done in recent months. The addition of TI to HW and VooDoo to Clock both pushed up further the competitive high tiers. The ability of MHC and BW to properly contest these areas was diminishing. So, I'll put it simply. You made those FA decisions, now live with the consequences of your actions.

I'm sorry we have created a competitive sphere - but you forced our hand with the ever-expanding scores and tiers of your own. If HW had made it clear that they were willing to break the monopoly at the top of the tiering chart, or Clock not quietly added VooDoo, then sure things may have been different. But they're not and thus Celestial has happened.
