  1. Yep I just dealt with it the past 20 minutes trying to log on, only to get this message Service Temporarily UnavailableThe server is temporarily unable to service your request due to maintenance downtime or capacity problems. Please try again later. Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request. Just about a minute ago, it appeared to let me through, but then I was met with this screen: [an error occurred while processing this directive] Are they still doing maintenance work?
  2. http://prntscr.com/6irk4x http://prntscr.com/6irkkt That's an awful lot of affiliated people you guys are raiding. Oppilan in particular seems like bad baggage, if you expect anyone to take you seriously, I'd advise hanging his head out for the community to collectively chop. Nuff said.
  3. It could be argued-with a reasonable amount of truth- that Fox did/is going the political route in this way. Politics is all about getting as many powerful and influential people as possible rallying to your cause. I would say it's safe to assume that was her main aim by posting this here. How is requesting war damage reps "extortion" by the way? It seems only reasonable that an alliance leader of any alliance would request the same given the exact same circumstances were unfolding for them. One last thing, as Fox Fire mentioned, why would anybody so willingly try to drive newer players from P&W is beyond me, there's literally hundreds of unaffiliated players (they also tend to be the most inactive amongst us) that by attacking them, you'll get your raid spoils and not further risk alienating another player from the game.
  4. You don't raid? ha ha ha, you and your entire alliance does. Don't go crying about it when you get counter raided, not only is it in bad taste, it also exposes your hypocrisy.
  5. 1.) No hampering gameplay. By the time you're in the top 200 nations you'll see just how much infra really increases in price. Maybe then you'll have a decent argument. 2.) No thanks on turning P&W into (That terrible game that is totally irrelevant and I shouldn't be bringing it up anyways), I know I switched over to this game and quit (That terrible game that is totally irrelevant and I shouldn't be bringing it up anyways) (albeit briefly) to focus on a game that is not dying. 3.) No no no NO, no killing this brand new idea that is P&W. By implementing something like this it'll only serve to further push away what would otherwise be a relatively active player base. We're having enough trouble as it is keeping active, contributive people to the game, why speed the pace of inactives up?
  6. I hope you don't take real life nearly as serious as you do this game. If you don't have high blood pressure now you sure will soon.
  7. It's amazing someone would so gleefully call for what would equate to a destruction of P&W. It's hard enough finding new people that'll actually stick through with it and stay involved in the game. By making them even more attractive targets it'll only lead to much, much more inactivity. While this may be an interesting concept to possibly implement when (and more importantly if) the game witnesses a massive surge in active players (I'm talking 10's of thousands) but in its current state it'll do far more harm than it's worth.
  8. Says the dude that had enough time to take off to write this hypocritical comment, eh?
  9. Nevermind the fact that the "holy land" in fact originally belonged to cavemen, but in more "modern antiquity" it was owned by the ancient Phoenicians/Canaanites. Israelites of ancient times never had their own sovereign land. You're correct on stating there never being a land called "Palestine" up until 1947, they were in fact known then as Arabs. Your attempts at legitimacizing either nation in antiquity is rather shallow. Israel has far less of a legitimate claim than any Arab nation to current day Israel (Syria, Jordan and even Egypt particularly).

  11. Israel's claim to legitimacy lies solely with the "United Nations" and its partition in 1947. Not only does the U.N. as well as any globalized organization truly have no real authority (lest it be an acceptable idea in the first place) over any sovereign nation, it sure as Hell shouldn't have the authority to steal land from native inhabitants to hand it back to another ethnic group. The "historical religious" argument is a weak one at best too. Israel loves to also boast about how the "Holy Land" was originally theirs to begin with, however, that's false to begin with too as the ancient Israelites stole said piece of sod from the ancient Canaanites. To be completely fair though, coexistance would be the best option obviously IF both the Israel and Palestine ceased their attacks on one another. Coexistance is a joke, and one the liberals of the world love to shout about in the fairytale that is their "rationalization." You can't reason with people who are hellbent on murdering you, and that goes both ways.
  12. Hey you're poaching GPA members too?! Glad to see we at VE aren't the only ones o/ Fox o/BRMC
  13. You guys are gonna get along great in Guardian, I can see it already. Hail forgiveness!
  14. Scratch that, BBQ chicken, cream corn, velvetta shells and cheese and cut potatoes mmmm. Ramen does great too, quickest and easiest meal on the planet
  15. You know, I usually don't agree with anything Diabolos says, but the spy system is certainly something that needs....fine-tuned. It really is insane that anyone can spy anyone, while it makes sense in a real-world situation, this isn't the real world. We play games like P&W in part to get away from real world issues. And taking it a step further, it really kills the game a bit when a 500-1k something person can spy away any new player's assets at the drop of the hat. I wonder how many people have already been driven away from the game due to this game mechanic alone? I'm sure is doesn't happen too often, but surely it happens more than people would probably like to believe. Maybe limit spy-ops to people within 1-200 ns of their targeted nation. I'm not suggesting going full-board Cybernations here, but even a broad range like that could greatly cut down early-life inactives and promote slightly fairer gameplay.
  16. As the title says, I'm in dire need of gasoline and would like to secure a long-term swap of up to 2 months minimum, and on a recurring, weekly basis. I'd like to offer 1,150 ppu for 1,500 units. If you're interested drop me a message in-game and we can chat further about the deal! Thanks, -Robert House
  17. Woohoo Orbis' first BDSM themed alliance! I like this post so hard it hurts (emotionally)
  18. Surely every bit of 10 hours. At least.
  19. You let your members (and yourself personally) attack affiliated people, you're gonna have a bad time. Duh
  20. Careful BoC ESA has them gatling lasers. Best of luck fighting fire with swords Seriously though best of luck to both sides!
  21. Oh yes, show Presidential what's up. Add me to this list
  22. Yep, take it from the biggest example of one currently on Orbis! You should be fine provided you get a top-tier alliance to protect you while you build it up! Til then, best of luck in your endeavor Fox! By the way, depending on whether you actively need the cash or not would be a good way to gauge your need for the alliance bank. Another (definitly the biggest factor) way to look at it is if you're getting raided and know you can't win and/or defend stashing your funds in your bank would be the optimal choice as you'll get much less stolen from you in the 6th (and final) consecutive enemy immense triumph attack.
